There's something very exclusive, almost Beverley Hills-esque, about the location of this property. Tucked away in the hills, your only neighbours are other privately-owned villas. All around you there's cushiony-green countryside - and the deep blue of the Med provides one showstopper of a view. But there's more to Casa Puchol's setting than just looks. When it comes to getting out and about, you're in a great spot. The old town of Javea is more or less on your doorstep – it's only a couple of minutes' drive away - and Arenal Beach is close by, too. As to the villa itself, it's built in traditional Spanish style with whitewashed walls and terracotta roof tiles. The interiors are fairly pared down with the palette very much at the neutral end of the colour chart. The lounge is nicely uncluttered, offering up two comfy armchairs, a big sofa, coffee table and TV. Similarly, the kitchen's simple but well done, with sleek marble worktops and modern cupboards. On the bedroom front, there's one double and two twins, all of which are fairly minimalist style-wise. And two bathrooms mean there's plenty of space for everyone. The focal point of the property, however, is the swimming pool. It's got Roman steps leading down into it and is bordered on one side by an attractive balustrade, making the most of those sea views. It's perfect if your holiday plans revolve around laying out on a sunbed and doing, well, not very much in particular. Add a barbecue and a shaded patio to the mix and you've got one attractive holiday home.
