Villa Pla

From the outside, the Casa Pla is everything a Spanish villa should be. It's whitewashed. It's topped with terracotta tiles. And there are even those ornate filigree bars on the windows. This place couldn't be more Mediterranean-looking if it tried. And it's in a nice spot, too. It's fairly out of the way so you're assured of some peace and quiet. But you're not totally cut off. Javea old town's about a ten minute drive, while the beach, Playa Arenal, is five minutes away by car. As to the property, it's bordered by neat hedges and overlooks a turquoise pool with Roman steps leading down into the water. The surrounding terrace has plenty in the way of garden furniture so you can pull up a sun-lounger and soak up the sun. Come lunchtime, you can escape the midday heat under the double-arched veranda and enjoy a barbeque. Inside, the villa's got a homely feel – the kitchen's kitted out with pine furniture and the living room's got an attractive fireplace. As to the sleeping arrangements, there are three bedrooms, two with twin beds and one with a double bed and en suite bathroom. Plus you've got a main bathroom too, making the Casa Pla ideal for groups of friends and large families.
