Stayed here for 2 weeks in June 2016. Hotel check in was fast and efficient, room very adequate lovely balcony and free fridge Pool area quite small had to be up early if you wanted a sun lounger by the pool. Bar staff excellent waiter service by the pool. Food was nice only one night where we did not like anything. Breakfast had lots of choice. Ideal location for old town, slightly longer walk for the strip. Perfect for the beach right outside. Overall would stay here again. More
An unusual holiday!
We went to this hotel for 11 nights in September and, on the very first night, I took ill with a serious infection, eventually ending in a 22 night stay in hospital. This meant that my partner had to stay an extra 15 nights in the hotel and the staff were just marvellous, extending reservations every few days, so that no change of room was necessary. We'd particularly like to that the very helpful staff and particularly Patricia and Javier who helped arrange things, sometimes at very short notice. As we had no holiday at all in Benidorm due to my illness, we've booked again to go to the Sol Costablanca in May 2017, when we'll hopefully have the usual super time there!More
Stayed at this hotel first week in November weather was warm, warm enough to sunbathe a few times apart from one day when it rained but that didn't stop you doing anything. Hotel is right opposite the beach and central for the old town and new town. Our room was clean and tidy and yes could do with updating but it was clean . We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment. Pool area and bar area clean and the public toilets in the bar area are something else. I would recommend this lovely hotel. More
Needs urgent refurbishment
This hotel is excellently situated right on the front in the middle of the Playa Levante and it looks brilliant from the outside. The common rooms are also good, but the hotel is badly let down by the state of the bedrooms. These look extremely tired with worn carpets, threadbare towels and sad looking bathrooms. That said, the beds were comfortable and the view from my sixth floor window over the bay was fantastic. It was far too cold to swim, but the pool also looked great and there was ample parking at â¬15 per night (plus a refundable deposit of 40⬠on the remote control for the parking gate). The hotel is not dog friendly so my dog had to spend the night in the car, but the space was sheltered and he was comfortable. The Breakfast was more than ample. I was originally allocated a room that stank of cigarette smoke (and I mean stank!!!!). I do not object to a faint odour of cigarettes, but this was foul and should have been left for a couple of days to air. I immediately went back downstairs and asked for another room. The friendly staff were very accommodating and the next room I was offered was fine. The wifi is good and free Will I go back? Definitely once the rooms have been refurbished, but otherwise no, since the hotel was not exactly cheap. If you intend to spend time here try to check out your room before committing yourself.More
