With a sandy beach and Benidorm’s nightlife on your doorstep, this hotel scores top marks for location.
The Port Benidorm, formerly known as Los Dalmatas, had a complete makeover in 2016. You can expect modernised rooms, a revamped pool, a bigger sun terrace and a brand-new bar.
When it comes to location, this place is spot on. It’s just a couple of minutes’ walk from Levante Beach, and there are plenty of bars in the surrounding area. As for days out, you’re five minutes’ drive from a waterpark.

Immaculate hotel everywhere, staff are all fantastic, especially Jason who nothing is too much trouble to help with anything. Room had wonderful view, but not as photos of twin room on Thomson or hotel website which shows a larger room with sofa, did not like glass bathroom. Website says smoking area, people smoked everywhere except in the hotel building itself. Beach towels are €2 plus €10 deposit which is returned. You pay €2 each time you change the towel. As usual towels on sun beds(which there are plenty of) and the few umbrellas that are by pool area taken by 9.00am as soon as pool opens. Food was brilliant plenty of variety, even for a fussy eater like me.More

A very good holiday
I went away to Benidorm with the family for my brothers 18th birthday. The hotel is in a great location, close to the beach and the bus route to old town. The food was extremely good. The only down side is the poor quality of the deserts. The drinks are all inclusive until 11pm which is definitely long enough. I have seen reviews about the drinks being weak, however we found they tended to be too strong. The biggest down side for me was the bathroom walls being made from glass. Sharing a room with my younger brother was quite awkward, especially when one of us wanted to use the bathroom. Otherwise we had a great stay and I would go back again.More

Never a 4 star platinum
If you chose your hotels on reviews please read this first , Thompson rate this hotel as a 4* platinum but take it from me it's a 3* at best , the hotel is lovely modern very clean and the pool area is really good but that is where the good remarks stop , the food at best is a 2* due to it having no taste , looks unappetising and there is hardly any choice with the same rubbish being served up day after day we have had to eat out 5 times on 7 day holiday , if the holiday was cheap I could understand it but £1800 for 3 all inclusive for 1 week in my opinion isn't cheap if I was you I would go to the Riviera hotel which is a lot better for everything from the food , drink entertainment etc , I certainly won't be coming here again .More

STUNNING LOCATION!!! but
having just got back from a weeks' holiday at port benidorm, i felt i just had to mention some of the good and not so good points of this hotel:- the hotels position was fantastic, close to everything, but, far enough away so as the loud night life did not spoil ones sleep.the view from the balcony (we were on the 14th floor) was amazing. very clean and towels changed regularly. no rush for the sunbeds, there was always enough for everyone. (the only hotel, where i have seen the pool staff power washing the sunbeds!!!) the lift was not a problem IF you followed the instructions, and kept to the allocated lift. The main problem for me, was the english breakfast, never before have i seen sliced ham folded and grilled and tried to be passed off as bacon (revolting!!) the baked beans were 'happy shopper' quality and the mushrooms were the tinned variety and quite slimey (ugh!) All in all, it has to be one of the best hotels in benidorm, and, definately they have the best poolside team in benidorm, they are an absolute credit to the hotel.More
Perfect location. Modern and friendly hotel :-)
Stayed at Port Benidorm for a week at the beginning of July. We absolutely loved this hotel and feel from looking around Benidorm that this was one of the best hotels around. The room was spacious and modern and we had panoramic views across Benidorm. It was fully airconditioned and had a safe/hairdryer/flat screen tv/ loads of space for your suitcase and belongings. We had a maid every day who would leave the room spotless. The food was lovely and varied in a buffet style restaurant (even for the fussiest of eaters). The hotel is in a perfect location, it is in the 'new town'/Rincon de Loix area right by the seafront. It's close enough to the nightlife but far enough that your not bothered by it. This hotel was brilliant for us on a couples holiday as it wasn't full of stag/hen parties and being a 4 star we felt we weren't bothered by other people too much. The pool area was clean, plenty of sun beds and a good bar area. We used the spa twice while we were there which was only 5 euros and well worth the money (pool/sauna/Turkish bath). Taxis up to the old town are around 6/7 euros or a 20/30 minute walk. We will definitely return and this time we will go all inclusive, as half board we felt like a minority. Although we're not big daytime drinkers; of an evening you could easily sit in the bar and watch the entertainment whilst emptying out your wallet lol. Slightly niggles:- - More parasols are needed by pool area. - You had to pay to use the safe. - There aren't enough choices of alcohol with your evening meal.More
