With an activity-filled pool scene, a kids’ club, and a setting close to a waterpark, the Mediterraneo Hotel has real family appeal.
This place strikes a balance between lively and peaceful, with a setting on the edge of Benidorm. It’s a 15-minute walk into town and a little further to Levante Beach, plus you’ve got Aqualandia waterpark nearby.
There’s plenty of elbow room at this hotel – a lot of which is dedicated to families. You can expect a huge pool area, a big children’s playground and spacious rooms with their own sofas and coffee tables.

Flawless stay once again!
I have visited this hotel 8 times in the past decade and are staying there shortly. The hotel is clean and all the staff are very accommodating and friendly. The food is a vast variety and is a buffet at all meal times. For breakfast there is a selection of almost anything anyone could imagine for breakfast(to include cake, pastries and a variety of bread). After breakfast has ended 'snack time' begins which usually consists of chips, burgers etc. Then it's lunch, there is always pasta, meat, chips, burgers and vegetables. There is also 8 deserts to chose from which ate quite unusual.(ice cream and yoghurt are available throughout the day). Evening meal opens at 7 and the food is exceptional at night. Every week the menu rotates however on all of my holidays there there is Mexican night, lamb night and other themed evenings. For drinks in the restaurant you order of a menu and waiters attend and take your Order shortly after you take your seat. For food and drink at the Mediterraneo you really can't go wrong. Every room has a balcony to soak up the relaxing environment. The rooms are clean and cleaned daily. The towels are also changed daily. Their is an English tv and a mini bar free of charge. For sun bed towels you must put down a deposit of 10⬠per towel and the safety deposit box is at a small cost. The entertainment isn't the greatest but you can't expect the best from a small/quiet Benidorm all inclusive. Every night is bingo , a quiz and a mini disco for children up to around 12 there is sometimes a musician, animal show, singer or dancing show to enjoy over a sangria or two. There is a tv in the bar with football on and an an Xbox along with computers. Both pools are clean and supervised at all times in the summer and just the indoor in winter/spring months. Benidorms reputation Isn't the best and is thought to be rowdy and Loud but this hotel bans stag/hen party's and is mainly couples and family's. The hotel seems pretty sound proof. Even above the entertainment room you can't hear a peep which is essential for a good night sleep. The hotel is opposite the famous Benidorm palace and on a main bus route. It's around 20 mins walking distant from the Levante beach and town. The reception staff are always happy to point you in the right direction if you are a little lost or unsure of where things are if its your first visit. All in all you should visit this hotel if you are looking for a quiet, relaxing and enjoyable hotel with amazing food and superb facilities. More
Which means in reality it's a 3 at best. Nothing too different to report from other reviews Clean to the point of clinical .... No atmosphere Food ok, like a holiday camp type offering Staff - mostly unfriendly and unwelcoming with the odd exception Do you want a base away from the huddle and bustle that is clean and quieter than the usual Benidorm hotel? If yes, then this place will do you fine. Do you want a joyous 4* experience AI? Then if so, book elsewhere. More

Rooms clean, food was good. We where all inclusive, bar service very regimented, you were only allowed 2 drinks per person, even when you had all the AI cards which for our group meant 7 people had to be present for a round of drinks. Hotel location was further from the centre of Benidorm than expected, which resulted in using frequent taxis, which was a further cost to our holiday. Nice enough hotel but would not go back. More
smashing hotel. daytime dance classes great fun. smashing rooms. food ok could always find something to eat. evening entertainment a bit slow but it was out of season.went to club levante just down the road. they always had great entertainmentMore
This Hotel is in a great location, right opposite the Benidorm Palace, near enough to everywhere to walk but a little out of the way so quieter than the rowdier areas. It is spotlessly clean and bright with lovely big rooms. The food was lovely and a good variety. The majority of staff were brilliant, we really liked the small Waitress in the Bar & Josua the entertainer was great. The reception staff & dining area also very helpful. I would definitely return in the spring or autumn time as it was february and of course the outdoor pool was chilly.More
