With an activity-filled pool scene, a kids’ club, and a setting close to a waterpark, the Mediterraneo Hotel has real family appeal.
This place strikes a balance between lively and peaceful, with a setting on the edge of Benidorm. It’s a 15-minute walk into town and a little further to Levante Beach, plus you’ve got Aqualandia waterpark nearby.
There’s plenty of elbow room at this hotel – a lot of which is dedicated to families. You can expect a huge pool area, a big children’s playground and spacious rooms with their own sofas and coffee tables.

overall the hotel was good, food was great, rooms ok, sunbed situation was dire, like being packed in like sardines, had to get on the sunbed from the bottom and slide yourself up, couldn't get a fag paper between them. Pool was basic, no rings or lilo's allowed. Hotel it;s self had far too many rules i.e. one card one drink, not good if holidaying with family, and staff inconsistent with this. We decided to upgrade to AI plus, but completely felt ripped off, as we had to upgrade everyone including the children who got absolutely nothing extra, not even a one euro slush. If you lost your card you were charged 5 euro's again not good if you have children with you. I have holidayed many times in Benidorm, and this was a very poor experience from a family perspective .More
Stayed for 5 days on a hen party
Rooms ok, good size, plenty of space for 3 if us in the room. Could do with investing in new towels, very, very thin! We had an issue with the safe, the first 3 days it wouldn't open so had to call the maintenance man each time. Food ok, always something that you would like - but the A/I drinks - ugh! , seriously nothing tasted good. Had to pay fo wi-if, most hotels now give this free. Couldn't get a sun bed unless you queued at 8am with towel. On the plus side rooms are air conditioned and this was very welcome. Found majority of staff to be friendly.More
Just back after a week here. Absolutely loved it. Can't fault the hotel at all. Great food, great staff, clean and tidy. We were family of 4, the kids aged 16 and 12 are fussy eaters but even they found the food great. Would definitely recommend and we are already pricing to go back next year. 10 mins walk to aqualandia 20 mins walk to the beach. Plenty of pubs and restaurants around. More
I stayed at the Hotel Mediterraneo for the second time on 17th July for 4 nights with my two daughters and son-in-law. The hotel was perfect once again and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel is spotlessly clean; there is always somebody cleaning at all hours of the day. We stayed all inclusive and the food was exceptional and plentiful. The restaurant was open from 8am to midnight as all inclusive snacks were available in the restaurant in between meal times. At lunch and dinner there is a waiter service for drinks which is pleasant. The hotel uses an all inclusive card system, where 1 card allows you 1 all inclusive drink, and it is a brilliant system because it keeps queues at the outdoor and indoor bars to a minimum. Upon arrival to The Mediterraneo you can't help being astounded by the bright and airy reception. I booked two pool view rooms which we got and we were amazed by how spacious, clean and bright our rooms were and that they we were kindly placed next door to each other. Our pool views were lovely as we overlooked the heart of the entertainment throughout the day and until midnight from our room and we could also see the stunning mountain views. While touching on the entertainment, i must say how hard the entertainment team work all day and night at keeping all guests of all ages entertained, and they certainly do succeed at that. On Wednesday night, the entertainment staff at 10pm put on a spectacular show that we won't be forgetting - it's amazing! The pool/pool area was exceptionally clean and well maintained; there was a lifeguard at all times and we never struggled finding sunbeds. Every staff member was superb, very helpful and cheerful at all times! Special thanks to Teri at the bar for always being so welcoming. We were pleasantly surprised to have received a welcome-back gift and card in our rooms; it was a very thoughtful gesture which we appreciated. Many thanks to the hotel management. The Hotel Mediterraneo is situated in a great location - away from the hustle and bustle but certainly not too far to get to it as taxis to the beach and nightlife are very inexpensive, or you could get the bus which is just outside of the hotel which is regular and again cheap. Despite being a bit further out, there was still many bars and restaurants nearby and of course the supermarket Mas y Mas which was only 2 minutes away and sells everything you will need and more! All in all, we had another fantastic stay at the Hotel Mediterraneo and would like to thank all staff for making it such a pleasurable experience. We can't wait to return - ¡Hasta luego!More
Very good stay with a few minor issues
Came here on an all inclusive holiday for 4 nights with 3 couples. Today is my last day. The hotel itself is well situate with bars, supermarkets, restaurants and the water park aqualandia close by. The hotel is very clean, easy 10/10 from me. The staff are also very helpful and polite and again get a 10/10. The food served is pretty good too and there's always some thing you'd like from it. Rooms are clean and spacious, and are cleaned everyday by staff. The few issues i have with the resort: 1. Wi-fi has always been free no matter what hotel i've been to, and i thought here would be the same. I was wrong You have to pay for the duration of your stay. My 4 nights cost me €10. Not a large sum of money but you got the feeling they're simply creating these charges to compensate for the all inclusive food and drink. Which leads me to my next issue. 2. We aren't big lovers of alcohol, but when you first come to the hotel you're given a room key with your picture on it that had to be shown everytime you wanted to get a drink. The hotel only ever have 1 server on during the day usually and you again feel it's down on purpose to slow the visitors down and therefor save money. Even cold drinks for kids like pepsi, the machine is facing towards the barman so that even children need to queue up to get a drink causing an even longer queue. This should be facing out so anyone who wants a cold drink can serve themselves and reduce waiting times. Now i must say i would come back again but the service system in place needs to be re-evaluated to maximise visitor happiness. We found ourselves almost having to cheat the system by the men going up to order drinks (only 2 per person) and then immediately getting our 3 partners to go and order them so we didn't need to wait again. Beer should be on tap facing the customer in a self serve style so that bar staff are limited to making cocktails etc. Overall 8/10 for my stay here.More
