Magic Villa del Mar teams style with a standout location – it’s right on Poniente Beach, close to Benidorm’s old town.
This beachfront property gets top marks for style. The interiors are super-contemporary – think funky chairs and coloured lighting in the bars – and bedrooms are dressed in a palette of soft colours. Opt for one of the Jacuzzi® sea-view rooms and you’ll be able to look over the Med from your own whirlpool bath.
The swimming pool is just as easy on the eye. It’s a small, rectangular number with a pebble-effect border and a line of in-water sunloungers. More loungers are set out on the sun terrace, along with chic white parasols.
Up on the roof, there’s a terrace with widescreen sea views. During the day, it’s a sunbathing area with loungers and a soundtrack of chill-out music, while after dark it transforms into a chic cocktail bar.
Location-wise, you’re just across the prom from sandy Poniente Beach and less than 10-minutes’ stroll from the tapas bars and restaurants in the old town.

Having stayed at this hotels sister 5 star hotel I Was not sure whether this hotel would be as good! What a lovely family hotel! Really really Good reception! Staff excellent can't do enough For you! Room clean and accommodating with Large beds and English TV ! Really really good Food! Staff excellent can't do enough for you!! Worried no food left as arrived late for breakfast And lunch however loads of fresh good food Still available take no money if all inclusive! You will not need to buy any food elsewhere Every type of good food and drink for all your Needs! Toiletries are also very good quality Once again it's the very very good staff on Reception and in the restaurant rooms food Etc that make this a great hotel !location good !More
All the staff were brilliant especially the two brunette ladies on reception, the rooms were to a high standard and were very spacious and spotlessly clean. The food was of the highest quality catering to vegetarians and vegans. Perfect location right by the seafront. Only problem was the evening entertainment, was rather dull and lack of variety Overall a brilliant holiday. Even got a birthday cake!More

Great hotel overall, shame just a couple of niggles stopped it being top of it's class. It's on the Spanish side of the old town, so quite long walk from the main nightlife if that's what you are looking for, but just 10 mins to the shopping and of course very close to the beach. Staff generally are brilliant, from drinks on arrival by Angel on reception to Sandra and Andres at the bar, all very helpful and accommodating. It's a shame, then, that the restaurant staff aren't quite so cheerful, not very fast to clear up plates, or try to take them before you're finished chewing! We were on the 5th floor with sea view, definitely worth paying for the view. We didn't bother with the Jacuzzi, not sure it's worth the extra, and all inclusive stays include an hour in the spa which was enough for us. We had requested double bed, but as usual in Spain, what we got was two singles pushed next to each other. Room quite spacious, just wish the curtains were better blackout, had to make use of my eye mask. The air con is the best we've found in a hotel so far, very quiet yet very effective. We were worried that we would hear noise at night as our room door was opposite the lift, but we didn't hear any noise at all either from people in the next rooms, or in the corridor, that was a major bonus hotel wifi is free, it says it's only accessible in reception and the 9th floor bar, but we managed to get it in our room too yes the pool area is tiny, but as it doesn't open until 10, then no need to worry about getting up early to reserve a sunbed as the doors aren't unlocked til close to opening time. We always managed to get sunbeds, even at lunchtime. I know the beach is close, but at 4 euros 50 cent per bed and parasol, then it cost £10 per day for the two of us so we stuck to the pool after the first day. For those that do use the beach though, it's great to be able to get drinks in plastic cups to take to the beach. There is also a small kids pool on the floor below the main pool, we laid in the sun there one day as it was so much quieter The spa was definitely worth using, great view from the spa pool, and nice to relax with a rooftop bar drink afterwards. I had a massage while there too, really firm and good value too. Food was at the better end of standard all inclusive, first hotel we've stayed in with AI that served caviar. There is also constant food available from 8am to midnight, even if you at the pool fruit and crisps were always on hand to be served. all in all a lovely stay, we would prefer to be the other side of Old Town as we like to have a livelier evening sometimes, but the hotel entertainment was good, and a change from the usual on occasion, such as the ballroom dancers (not sure I would want to be thrown in the air like that on the rooftop bar!) I wouldn't recommend staying if you have teenagers, the ones that were there seemed pretty bored, but if you want a quieter stay with a more Spanish feel, and a promenade in the evening, then this is definitely the place for youMore
Excellent choice for Benidorm old town
We stayed here as a family at the end of June. On arrival the reception staff were excellent, 2 other members of our party had seaview rooms so we asked if we could and this was sorted for us immediately, can I just say I'm so glad we asked. Waking up to the sea every morning was perfect. The rooms were clean and tidy and the bathrooms were very modern. We used the pool quite a lot but you did need to be there 20 mins before the pool opened to get a seat all together and it did get very crowded. The beach was straight across the road which was perfect although we did learn to to venture down there till about 1 as it was packed with people and was very uncomfortable when you are trying to keep an eye on your children. The food was very good, we managed to eat something every meal although some cuts of meal we undercooked and very grissely. The drinks very also very good, most spirits were branded which was a nice touch. The staff in my opinion were ok, some were very plesant and made you feel welcome but there were others that didn't have that. On a couple occasions my partner was eating a meal and the plate was taken from under him, the second time this happened he pulled it back. Only small I know but perhaps this should be mentioned to the staff. Overall we had a brilliant holiday and the hotel was excellent value for money, I would visit again but prolly not with my children as there is not much them to do.More
kerry m, stoke on trent
Myself and my husband stayed here from 7th-14th July. From the minute we arrived we were met by very friendly polite staff. We were in room 607 with a great view of the sea, very modern and always clean. The only down side for me was the food but I'm a fussy eater, there was always well presented salads, appetisers and desserts to chose from. We had a fantastic stay, thank youMore
