Magic Villa del Mar teams style with a standout location – it’s right on Poniente Beach, close to Benidorm’s old town.
This beachfront property gets top marks for style. The interiors are super-contemporary – think funky chairs and coloured lighting in the bars – and bedrooms are dressed in a palette of soft colours. Opt for one of the Jacuzzi® sea-view rooms and you’ll be able to look over the Med from your own whirlpool bath.
The swimming pool is just as easy on the eye. It’s a small, rectangular number with a pebble-effect border and a line of in-water sunloungers. More loungers are set out on the sun terrace, along with chic white parasols.
Up on the roof, there’s a terrace with widescreen sea views. During the day, it’s a sunbathing area with loungers and a soundtrack of chill-out music, while after dark it transforms into a chic cocktail bar.
Location-wise, you’re just across the prom from sandy Poniente Beach and less than 10-minutes’ stroll from the tapas bars and restaurants in the old town.

COMMENTS: This is the third time we come to Villa Del Mar. This is the third year we have the same complaints. -First of all inadequate lounge areas both inside and out. Lack of public area seating, small lounge that isn't a lounge and it was chilly at time of visit. Nowhere to relax comfortably after dinner only downstairs where you could see nothing. On the top floor there is an outside terrace but in March it was too cold to use it. We thought the bar area should have been planned better, it should have been fitted with comfortable seating. -Free Wi fi is terrible, next to not existing, and that all time of the day. It is only available in the in public areas and not in the rooms. It takes ages to download something from Youtube and even to download your e-mails. A Youtube movie of 5:23 min took 20:17 min to download in bits and pieces. People who used the paid Wi fi system had almost the same complaints. Even when you go to the smallest pub in Benidorm you donât have any Wi fi problems at all. For the rest only positive remarks. SUGGESTIONS: I understand that there is a space restriction concerning the lounge. More comfort outside (as it was last year with the white seats) and some wind protection could do wonders. Another, stronger, Wi fi system is not impossible.More

Early season holiday break
Just returned from a 7 day holiday. On arrival we were given the wrong room request, but this was quickly rectified to a sea view room as requested along with a complimentary bottle of cava. Hotel in a very good position for the old town shops. The food was very good, with plenty of choice at breakfast and dinner. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the 2nd floor and unfortunately the traffic noise late at night and early mornings was at times unbearable, the air con was not working so we had to have the window open as it was very warm. The higher rooms may not have had this problem. This is the only reason that we would probably not return.More
Great choice for all inclusive
Just back from a weekend break in this hotel. Very happy with our choice, though we did have to get a cab to the nightlife. Hotel was very clean and the rooms were lovely even though we didn't have a great view. Very fancy bathroom too! The choice for meal times was really good and tasty too. Friends were happy to be offered Heineken and not just local beer as you tend to get offered in all inclusive. We didn't get to use the pool as the weather wasn't great so I cannot comment on that but the roof bar looked like it would be a great place to be in good weather! Maybe next timeMore

Omg I love this place. I heard horror stories about benidorm but where this hotel is situated it the right hand bay at the quiet area however your only a ten min walk into the busy bit. The hotel is immaculate. The food is outstanding never stuck for choice never had the same thing twice. I stayed in a room with the Jacuzzi it's worth paying extra for there are no balconies in this place but there is a full size window in each room and the Jacuzzi was right next to the window so you get a sea view. I loved this hotel so much I can't wait to go back best hotel ever. They have an adult only spa area at the top of the hotel so relaxing and spectacular views and there is a bar up there too. Big double bed sized Sun loungers, there's also a kids area on another floor and a swimming pool area indoors and its very clean. The spa is amazing just watch out for the Scottish shower which took my breath away much to my ex husbands amusement. You will love this place. Oh and champagne on arrival and cocktail every night before dinner. More
