Magic Villa del Mar teams style with a standout location – it’s right on Poniente Beach, close to Benidorm’s old town.
This beachfront property gets top marks for style. The interiors are super-contemporary – think funky chairs and coloured lighting in the bars – and bedrooms are dressed in a palette of soft colours. Opt for one of the Jacuzzi® sea-view rooms and you’ll be able to look over the Med from your own whirlpool bath.
The swimming pool is just as easy on the eye. It’s a small, rectangular number with a pebble-effect border and a line of in-water sunloungers. More loungers are set out on the sun terrace, along with chic white parasols.
Up on the roof, there’s a terrace with widescreen sea views. During the day, it’s a sunbathing area with loungers and a soundtrack of chill-out music, while after dark it transforms into a chic cocktail bar.
Location-wise, you’re just across the prom from sandy Poniente Beach and less than 10-minutes’ stroll from the tapas bars and restaurants in the old town.
The superior double room has a luxurious air to it with dark wood, contemporary furnishings. It sleeps up to three adults or two adults and two children. With plenty of sunlight flooding in, the views look out over the back of the hotel. They come complete with a hydro massage shower.
First and last impressions were fantastic, really friendly and attentive staff, excellent food and drink and a fantastic chilled out atmosphere. Reception staff were brilliant in there advice on places to go, and were available 24/7, for any questions or complaints. My family and I have no complaints about this fantastic hotel, and we have booked to come back in March for a cheeky weekððMore
Wonderful Hotel and location
Myself, husband and 12 year old son visited over the Easter holidays. On arrival I was impressed with the look of the hotel. It appeared modern, clean and in a great location and we weren't dissapointed. The staff were friendly and we were greeted with a glass of fizz! Our room was lovely but had two twin beds which wasn't ideal. My son's bed was a sofa bed behind ours and he complained that it was very uncomfortable. It did seem very lumpy! The food was very nice and we were greeted by a cocktail of the day upon arrival. There was a whippy ice cream machine in the restaurant which served delicious ice cream with sweets and nuts. The drinks were fab! All branded and good measures. Prosecco was included also. The main strip of Benidorm (rowdy) was around 20 minutes walk so this hotel was far enough out to not be disturbed but was within walking distanced if it took your fancy. We went out of season but the evening entertainment was poor. Hoping that it would be better in peak season. I would definatly return here on return to Benidorm. More

We are just back from a week at the Villa Del Mar. Paid extra for a sea view and it was worth it. We were on the first floor and the noise at night time was nowhere near as bad as I thought it might be given that we were beside the main road. The room had full air conditioning so obviously we were able to close the windows at night and all of our party slept well during our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable and plenty of towels available, and there was always hot water for the shower. The food was good for continental tastes but my 78 year old father missed his British/Irish food as he prefers potatoes, 2 veg and good cuts of meat, preferably lean and off the bone. They did do this and on the first couple of nights there was some beautiful pork loin and turkey breast but we discovered that this wasn't always the case and the roast beef that was supposed to have been on the menu as stated for Sunday did not appear, much to my father's disappointment. We mentioned this to the staff and from that moment on they could not do enough to ensure that we were catered for which included chicken breasts, steak and roast beef and my father was able to have potatoes with his dinners. They also made pizzas especially for my 13 year old son who, like his grandad, can be quite fussy. The terrace on the top floor was our favourite place in the hotel as there was a nice breeze during the day and the views were lovely, especially at night. The staff were very helpful, especially Leo and I feel that if it wasn't for him, my dads issue with the food may not have been quite as successful as we don't speak Spanish and it appears that the majority of the restaurant staff know very little English either. Leo also organised the entertainment and we were more than happy with what was provided. I feel that the entertainment may have been better in level -1, leaving the terrace as a spot to relax. There wasn't really much room for dancing or anything like that on the terrace, whereas the room on level -1 was more than adequate for hosting the entertainment and holding a bigger crowd, something we discovered one night when it was raining. The hotel has wifi which we could access anywhere in the hotel. My only complaint was about the music on the terrace, it appeared to be the same CD played day after day, over and over and considering we spent most of our days up there, it did get a bit monotonous. Most people do bring bring their own music and headphones and its soon sorted. We would definitely stay here again as we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.More

Myself and my Partner returned from a 4 day break there last week we stayed there between 10th august and 13th, the Hotel was extremely clean, the staff immensely helpful and courteous, and in general was a lovely place to stay.
The food was always tasty and there was a good variety on offer. I would definately recommend all inclusive if you can.
The location was absolutely perfect, located just yards away from the beautiful sandy beach and in an ideal location to explore other parts of the area. Our favourite place has to be the rooftop terrace, sitting up there in the afternoon sipping on cocktails was a perfect way to wind down before dinner.
Special mention goes out to the lady working at the poolside bar, I think her name was Sandra, always happy and smiling and brought a lovely atmosphere to the pool area.
Being part of a chain of hotels you are able to visit other hotels during your stay if you wanted, we did this and visited the magic aqua monnika purely for the pool area: word of warning though, whilst the pool was great the food standard there was something out of a 18th century prison, we walked out of the lunch hall as the food looked just horrendous! . so don't go there to eat, if you visit for the pool take a packed lunch, it made us realise just how fantastic the food was at the villa del mar
Pro's - food great, lovely staff great location and facilities first class. con's - none!
one last thing if you stay there try and get a beach facing room, definately a great view to wake up to in the morning!!
Thanks for a wonderful stay and if we go back to benidorm again there's only one place we will be going to stay at and thats the Villa del mar hotel!!!

"Loved every minute"
Fantastic location, very clean throughout, great and I mean great staff!!
The views from the room if at the front of the hotel are spectacular if at the rear you get a nice view of the pool. Great selection of food no matter what your taste is, but just a few pointers if your looking for a balcony guess what there aren't any, I couldn't get over how many people moaned they didn't have one? Also there is no where to dry/launder for your clothes how ever if desperate there's a laundrette round the corner,
Daytime have fun round the pool with the fantastic and very entertaining Sandra, she is awesome great asset to the hotel, the bar staff are so accommodating nothing is to much trouble, and finally our favourite Leo(Jeffe A&E) the entertainment manager, really takes pride in his job and always aims to please the public
Would defiantly recommend and stay there again ####More
