Hotel Rosamar  

Occupying a prime spot in the Benidorm skyline, this big hotel is ideal if you want to be close to all the action. Levante Beach is just few hundred metres away, while the town’s shops, restaurants and nightclubs are less than a 20-minute walk. Plus there are plenty of buses and taxis for those times when you don’t feel like walking.

The property itself is pretty modern, thanks to a recent revamp. In the lobby, spot-lit ceilings and arty prints give things a funky vibe and large windows let in plenty of light. The bedrooms, meanwhile, have been kept fairly simple, with neutral walls and bright soft furnishings as standard.

Outside, the pool area is the main social hub. A good-sized swimming pool is surrounded by a spacious terrace, which comes complete with loungers and umbrellas. There’s a shallow section of the pool for the kids, plus a neighbouring snack bar serving drinks and light bites around the clock.

Talking of eating and drinking, the hotel’s main restaurant is the place to go for big buffets. Spanish and international dishes are both on offer, with on-the-spot cooking stations taking centre-stage at breakfast and dinner. Have succulent meat freshly carved or get your omelettes cooked to order.

Last but not least, this place doesn’t disappoint when it comes to sports and entertainment. Practise your swing at the mini-golf course, or head to the tennis court for a game or two. Come evening, live music and shows are played out until the early hours.
