Hotel Rosamar

Within walking distance of Benidorm's sandy beaches and non-stop nightlife, Hotel Rosamar is in a really convenient spot. The pool is the hotel's headliner, thanks to its honeypot sun terrace and bar - although the buffet restaurant and entertainment line-up follow closely behind.

Occupying a prime spot in the Benidorm skyline, this big hotel is ideal if you want to be close to all the action. Levante Beach is just few hundred metres away, while the town’s shops, restaurants and nightclubs are less than a 10-minute walk. Plus there are plenty of buses and taxis for those times when you don’t feel like walking.

The property itself is pretty modern, thanks to a recent revamp. In the lobby, spot-lit ceilings and arty prints give things a funky vibe and large windows let in plenty of light. The bedrooms, meanwhile, have been kept fairly simple, with neutral walls and bright soft furnishings as standard.

Outside, the pool area is the main social hub. A good-sized swimming pool is surrounded by a spacious terrace, which comes complete with loungers and umbrellas. There’s a shallow section of the pool for the kids, plus a neighbouring snack bar serving drinks and light bites around the clock.

Talking of eating and drinking, the hotel’s main restaurant is the place to go for big buffets. Spanish and international dishes are both on offer, with on-the-spot cooking stations taking centre-stage at breakfast and dinner. Have succulent meat freshly carved or get your omelettes cooked to order.

Last but not least, this place doesn’t disappoint when it comes to sports and entertainment. Practise your swing at the mini-golf course, or head to the tennis court for a game or two. Come evening, live music and shows are played out until the early hours.

My wife and i have been staying at the rosamar for around 16 years and have never been dissapointed. The staff are always very friendly and the food very good although i do feel the food has improved lots this time around. The reception staff are fantastic and helpfull and the hotel is very clean something we like.Normally we dont stay in at night but they have now made an area for English entertainment upstairs and thanks to a singer and fantastic entertainer called Sean Elliott and his daughter we were made to feel very welcome so we stayed in some nights when he was on.Made a great change from the usaul spanish dancing downstairs.Look forward to seeing everone next year.More

Will Go Back

Never been to Benidorm before so I was feeling very apprehensive. Was met by a rep at the airport who indroduced herself as Kara she was very nice and very helpful. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful and we were made to feel very welcome. Our room was very clean and comfortable and was cleaned daily. We stayed on a full board basis, there was an excellent choice of food . Only one small comment is if you have got an asbestos mouth like me the food could be alittle on the cold side but thats me my husband had no complaints., however there were several microwaves there. The hotel was in an excellent location, we were close to bars, the beach and shops. Must admit we both really enjoyed and I would most certainly go back to the Rosamar Hotel.More

Nice stay at rosamar

We booked to stay here on the advice of travel agent as we've never been to Benidorm. Upon arriving reception was friendly and gave us our room card. Got up to floor ten and found that our room key card wouldn't work the housekeeper explained in broken English we should go back to reception for a replacement one. After this the card did work but we had several times when for some reason it wouldn't work! Our room was clean and comfortable with twin beds. Bathroom ok as well with shower over bath but be warned as there's no shower curtain just a part wall going across too much shower pressure and you flood the bathroom! Food was not that good cold and not much choice there was even a microwave to use if you wanted and some people were. The only time you got hot food was if you went to the show chef which was freshly cooked hot! At night we went out for entertainment as we didn't like the hotels shows. We found out on the last night that the downstairs bar was for the Spanish and the bar upstairs was for british. In our opinion the hotel caterers more for Spanish. As most of the customers were that we met. We found all the staff helpful and polite. The housekeeper always spoke to you as we seemed to always meet her. Reception were very helpful. If we go back to Benidorm then we might come here again.More
