Hotel Rosamar

Within walking distance of Benidorm's sandy beaches and non-stop nightlife, the Hotel Rosamar is in a really convenient spot.

Occupying a prime spot in the Benidorm skyline, the king-size Hotel Rosamar is ideal if you want to be close to all the action.

Thanks to a recent revamp, the Hotel Rosamar feels nice and modern. The pool is the headliner – although the buffet restaurant and entertainment line-up follow closely behind.

Oldy worldy

Arrived on the afternoon of the 28th July 2016, was told that I could start using my all inclusive at dinner which would be from 7pm onwards we were starving, so why couldn't we use it at the snack bar??? ( of course I did). The room was very dark, dark brown wardrobes with a tweedy sort of throw on the beds. Very old fashioned, could definitely do with a make over. We spent 5 days at the beach as I wasn't prepared to start queuing at 8am for the gate to open at 9am for me to require 2 sun beds, when I asked the rep why there wasn't enough the reason was down to health and safety, my suggestion would be to have room numbers on the beds. When looking at the Rosamar from the street it looks like a thorn between 2 roses, with the recently refurbished Riviera on one side and the lovely looking, no queuing for sun beds Calypso on the other. The best thing about the Rosamar would have been on a Saturday when it's pool party day, Abba were great and the foam party was good for everybody. All in all sorry to say this but it's definitely a 3 out of 10!! More

5 night break

Hotel just a couple of minutes away from from all the night life which was excellent for evenings when sleep needed. Hotel very clean inside the rooms. Advice I would give about the room make sure you read the information left on the table on how to work the sockets as we thought they were broken and only had one in the bathroom it wasn't until the last night when we read the information on how they work which is basically turn the switch on using your bedside switch on and also spare socket behind curtains. Restaurant food was average but a good variety to choose from. When you arrive if you are half board you can upgrade to full board 6 euro per person or 10 euro per person all inclusive but we didn't bother cheap enough to get a dinner or snack out. Dining room quite clean just needs the chairs cleaning when closed. On the whole very happy and we would return.More

Sarah C,

Good Winter Break

Great hotel in a good position close to all the nightlife but the hotel has an entertainment program too if you want to stay in. Rooms, Staff, and Food are very good. Ideal for a long weekend at a very reasonable priceMore

1stclasstransfers,

Great time at the Rosamar!

Stayed at the Rosamar for a 4 night break with my fiance my sister and her partner. The hotel is very clean and the reception staff friendly and helpful. The rooms are dated but you don't go to Benidorm to stay in your room! The cleaners came in everyday . Clean towels were provided daily. The food was very good with plenty of choice and show cooking each morning and evening. The waiters in the restaurant were rude not friendly at all however there was a young lady who cleared the tables each morning and evening she always had a smile for everyone. The hotel is centrally located within walking distance to all bars shops and the beach. The beach is beautiful and clean. Be careful at the beach the sand becomes very hot to walk on even when wearing flipflops. The only negative thing I can say about this hotel is the sunbed saga.... people start queuing 8am for a sunbed, pool opens at 9am! The sunbeds are crammed in side by side with hardly any room between them the pool is small for the size of the hotel so don't expect to be able to swim in pool during school holidays. There is a very shallow end of the pool that is perfect for cooling off and relaxing. We never had a problem with the lifts however we did see the engineer working on them occasionally. More

Not so relaxing holiday....

I arrived here on a sun lunch time and my room was ready immediately, we were on the first floor which I am thankful for as I quickly learned the lifts were a nightmare with some waiting 40 mins for one! The rooms are clean but very very basic and extremely dated, we were in room 107 which didn't have a bath tub just a shower tray on the floor with a flimsy curtain around it,when you turn the shower on it completely floods the bathroom making it physically impossible to walk on, my daughter slipped countless times, that aside everything worked and rooms were cleaned daily. Food at the hotel was nice I have no complaints other than sometimes a little repetitive during lunch times and the same dessert was served 3days running. Now my biggest issue and the reason I won't be returning is the sun lounger issues, I'd read reviews before coming about the difficulties getting one, however I never imagined the total chaos it actually is, in order to have any chance of getting a lounger I had to set my alarm for 7:30am and then que til 9am until they opened the doors, the que by 9am goes from the poolside up through the hotel and when they unlock the doors I seen people actually running to get a lounger , a hour and a half queuing every day for a week is 10.5 hours I spent in a que for a lounger this is totally unacceptable and completely started every day off in a ad mood this is not what anyone wants on holiday, The rules of the pool are ridiculous no inflatables, no balls no nothing is allowed. The snack bar at the pool only allows you 2 items at a time so if you have burger and chips that's your two items but if you have 2/3/4 kids with you then you'd have to que 2/3/4 times, completely ludicrous rules, the drinks are the same, only two allowed per person so its several trips to the bar, this makes no sense whatsoever as I was all inclusive if you're allowed them anyway then what's the issue? This hotel could really do with a refurb and management need to sit down and sort the issues out, it's put me off ever returning here and I'm sure I won't be the only oneMore
