Hotel Rosamar

Within walking distance of Benidorm's sandy beaches and non-stop nightlife, Hotel Rosamar is in a really convenient spot. The pool is the hotel's headliner, thanks to its honeypot sun terrace and bar - although the buffet restaurant and entertainment line-up follow closely behind.

Occupying a prime spot in the Benidorm skyline, this big hotel is ideal if you want to be close to all the action. Levante Beach is just few hundred metres away, while the town’s shops, restaurants and nightclubs are less than a 10-minute walk. Plus there are plenty of buses and taxis for those times when you don’t feel like walking.

The property itself is pretty modern, thanks to a recent revamp. In the lobby, spot-lit ceilings and arty prints give things a funky vibe and large windows let in plenty of light. The bedrooms, meanwhile, have been kept fairly simple, with neutral walls and bright soft furnishings as standard.

Outside, the pool area is the main social hub. A good-sized swimming pool is surrounded by a spacious terrace, which comes complete with loungers and umbrellas. There’s a shallow section of the pool for the kids, plus a neighbouring snack bar serving drinks and light bites around the clock.

Talking of eating and drinking, the hotel’s main restaurant is the place to go for big buffets. Spanish and international dishes are both on offer, with on-the-spot cooking stations taking centre-stage at breakfast and dinner. Have succulent meat freshly carved or get your omelettes cooked to order.

Last but not least, this place doesn’t disappoint when it comes to sports and entertainment. Practise your swing at the mini-golf course, or head to the tennis court for a game or two. Come evening, live music and shows are played out until the early hours.

Up's & Down's

The Rosamar Hotel in Benidorm is in a good location, far enough away from the main drag as not to hear the night time noise. The reception staff are excellent. The waiting on staff in bar & dining room are the most miserable, none smiling staff we have ever encountered! We were on the 12th floor. Lifts good, Chamber maid from (Romania) was lovely, always smiling, whistling & had a pleasant word for everyone. Be aware however, the Hotel walls are paper thin & unless you have VERY quite neighbours, you will her every word they say! We visited on the week of the British Fancy Dress, we were unfortunate to have two 30 odd year old men next door. We were kept awake for the first night, woken up at 3 am the following morning, luckily they only got back in at 5 am on their last morning. Our next neighbours were two women in their 50's. We could hear one of them snoring all night - that is how thin the wall are! On the whole, we had a good holiday, the food is excellent both breakfast & dinner had lots of choices. The entertainment is mainly for the Spanish guests, the British entertainment is almost none existent - but nip next door to the Riviera, the entertainment is excellent, with a different act on every hour on the hour from 9 pm. till 1 am Would I stay again? Yes, if I could guarantee quiet neighbours.More

Stayed at this hotel 2 years ago and I would say it was good, this time round terrible! Full of noisy Spaniards, dining room like a school canteen, room very tired & they desperately need to bring their electrical system in to this century. Once having to pay to dry my hair I found I couldn't unless I had certain lights on in the room!(different ones at different times) The ironing board we were given was equal to a child's play one with a chunk of metal at the end (just the thing to rip your new clothes on) Complained to reception they didn't want to know, they were too busy herding everyone into the top 2 floors in the building so that you could lose your body weight in sweat in the extremely ancient hot lifts! The pool is good and that's about it! Plenty of far superior hotels in Benidorm thankfully! Take a tip and go to one of them!More

great location

We went to this hotel at end of october beginning of november for 9 nights.I dont like heights so i emailed the hotel to let them know, also two of my friends had arrived there the day before so they spoke to the girl on reception, Norah, she arranged it so i was only two high, nice room, was cleaned every day beds made up, bathroom cleaned and fresh towels every day if you left them in the bath, had a nice wee balcony that got the sun in the morning till around 2.30pm that overlooked the calypso hotel and the sol pelicanos hotel pools. the food was real nice, im a vegetarian so there was plenty of salads and veg and fish to eat, one thing that was a bit disapointing was the pool the water was so cold you had to keep swimming or you would freeze, plenty of sunbeds and the staff were nice and helpful, we had a day in the spa, it was really good felt totally relaxed after it. I would definatly stay there again.More
