Within walking distance of Benidorm's sandy beaches and non-stop nightlife, Hotel Rosamar is in a really convenient spot. The pool is the hotel's headliner, thanks to its honeypot sun terrace and bar - although the buffet restaurant and entertainment line-up follow closely behind.
Occupying a prime spot in the Benidorm skyline, this big hotel is ideal if you want to be close to all the action. Levante Beach is just few hundred metres away, while the town’s shops, restaurants and nightclubs are less than a 10-minute walk. Plus there are plenty of buses and taxis for those times when you don’t feel like walking.
The property itself is pretty modern, thanks to a recent revamp. In the lobby, spot-lit ceilings and arty prints give things a funky vibe and large windows let in plenty of light. The bedrooms, meanwhile, have been kept fairly simple, with neutral walls and bright soft furnishings as standard.
Outside, the pool area is the main social hub. A good-sized swimming pool is surrounded by a spacious terrace, which comes complete with loungers and umbrellas. There’s a shallow section of the pool for the kids, plus a neighbouring snack bar serving drinks and light bites around the clock.
Talking of eating and drinking, the hotel’s main restaurant is the place to go for big buffets. Spanish and international dishes are both on offer, with on-the-spot cooking stations taking centre-stage at breakfast and dinner. Have succulent meat freshly carved or get your omelettes cooked to order.
Last but not least, this place doesn’t disappoint when it comes to sports and entertainment. Practise your swing at the mini-golf course, or head to the tennis court for a game or two. Come evening, live music and shows are played out until the early hours.

Hotel dated but clean. Breakfast not nice although lots of choice. Wifi for the week â¬19.50! No food available at poolside bar between 1-3. Had to dry off, get dressed and trek out every lunchtime for food. Pool very busy, lots of kids. Have to dash down at crack of dawn to get a sun lounger or you don't get one all day. Socket in bedroom only works if u have bedside light switched on. Only other socket is in bathroom. Air conditioning in room needs to be left on all day and night to feel the effect. Lifts are a joke. Wait ages for one (there's 4) yet when they arrive there's nobody in them! Overall just ok. Wouldn't stay here again. More

Don't waste your money!
Myself, sister and grandma (85 years old) who goes to Benidorm every year and normally stays in the Ambassador hotel over the road (but couldn't get booked in) returned from the Rosamar hotel after a 5 day break!.. We were put on the 14th floor bearing in mind she's in a wheelchair which was not practicable, and couldn't get in and out of the bath, and we were given hand towels to dry with. One of the waiters in the restaurant smashed a glass which as a result went in my sisters leg and in my foot which we showed him and he took the glass didn't say anything and didn't sweep the floor, as he didn't seem to care! The food is poor and when asked if the waiter could assist to carry my grandmas drink he told me to go back and get it myself after.. The all inclusive is ridiculous the one night we stayed to give the entertainment a go they stopped drinks at 11 even though they still had the entertainment on.. The air conditioning in the room didn't work and was reported 3 times which eventually got the engineer out who said he couldn't do anything and we would probably have to move rooms, which again is not worth it for one night and with a disabled person causing more stress and hassle!!! I could go on for days, we payed over £2000 for that short period of time & the staff and hotel ruined the holiday!.. They didn't seem to care about issues that were raised and the rep in the hotel explained that there have been many many complaints of the same! Such a shame! The only good thing about the hotel was pool area!!More

A few bad points but on the whole good
We arrived home yesterday after spending a week in the Rosamar. The hotel on the whole was good, the food was ok, breakfast was full cooked English breakfast, make your own toast, cereal, fruit and the chefs would make you fresh omelettes or eggs. We stayed all inclusive and in between the meal times at the main restaurant a snack bar by the pool side was open to serve you toasties etc. Help yourself beer, soft drinks and ice creams which was great. Lunch was varied and evening meals were meat, fish, chips, potatoes, veg, salad, deserts and show cooking. You could help yourself to a glass of wine / beer at lunch and evening meal from the fridges. The Air conditioning worked a treat, the lifts worked fine and there was plenty of sun beds and space to sit around the pool. The kids entertainment was good but the adults was awful, hardly bearable at all to be honest. The main down side was the 'hut' where we had to go for our drinks during the day and the evening, they were served from a wooden hut in the corner of the pool area in plastic glasses. The 2 lovely smart air conditioned bars indoor and outdoor were for half board only and were hardly used! i didn't mind so much in the day but dressed up at night standing pool side for wine in a plastic cup was down right insulting. But we got on with it. The good points out weighed the bad, yes the rooms could do with a lick of paint and there wasnt much room in the drawers but it wasn't as bad as some other reviewers made out and at the end of the day we didn't go to Benidorm to sit looking at the walls anyway. The staff were polite and professional and not at all rude. The beach was just under 10 minutes walk away and bars, pubs etc all on your door step. The other guests were mainly English, families and couples. We enjoyed our stay but i wouldnt go back to this particular hotel.More

Gutted and felt cheated
Rooms were substandard in decor very dated and tired, with signs of badly needed repairs ie mildew and rust spots in toilet.Wardrobes small limited space with extra small drawers that hardly held a pair of socks. Beds were very flimsy and hard, only one pillow Rooms not cleaned properly the whole time we were there( 10 days) had to request bed changes after 4 days but had clean towels every day. Food choice limited and quantity available small, same food at each setting ie scramble egg in am and scramble egg with added mushroom for lunch & dinner had to set own table for lunch/ dinner/ breakfast Plates dirty, cutlery dirty, cup & glasses dirty.Hotel noisy at 2 & 3 am. We were meant to be all inclusive but kept running out of snacks and beer as pump broke down, juice was like syrup most days. Slush machine not working 95% of time. Sun loungers old and dirty and very limited despite a no reservation rule unless you were there at 9am there was no chance you would get a lounger even then it was shameful to see grown men and women running to secure 4 plus loungers at a time! staff did not monitor this situation and there were times these so called not reserved beds were not used . Guests even found ways round the 9am rule and reserved loungers via the spa entrance. Not enough staff for service demand. Some staff could be grumpy but other very helpful. Hairdryer had to be hired! no minibar in room, no tea/coffee/ kettle in room. Cock roaches in main toilets and dining room. Entertainment at night very poor even with alcohol to numb pain it was torture. kid entertainment was good during the day but repetitive. No free wifi. Was so disappointed we felt cheated and gutted need a holiday to recover from this.More
