You'll find stylish, modern décor at this popular hotel, along with easy access to Benidorm's main strip.
This imposing building might look like a typical Benidorm hotel from the outside. But, thanks to a refurb, inside it's all funky retro-style sofas and contemporary cream lounge chairs. The big pool is one of the highlights.
Location-wise, you're in a quiet road less than a 10-minute walk from Benidorm's major bars and restaurants. And when you want to hit the sands, Levante Beach is a 15-minute walk away.
The double room is a simply furnished room with tiled flooring. It sleeps up to two adults and two children up to 12 years. Located on the ground floor terrace, you don’t have far to go to get to the pool. Cots and a limited number of hairdryers are available on request.
The food lunch and diner were terrible.Breakfast was ok.On our last week my wife and self were ill. We reported the matter to the floor manager and we were give a bottle of liquid the contained lemon, salt, and water.I would just like to say that we come to this hotel every year for three fortnightly holidays ayear and have been for the last seven years,The hotel been good most of time but the old manager retired Feb 2014 and this new management have been in charge for 12 months now and food is Terrible.More

a lot better than i expected
Booked a late deal through Thomson. read many mixed reviews. We have been to Benidorm several times and stopped in different hotels.
The hotel was clean and tidy ,we asked for room on floor 5 pool facing this we had.
Room was a bit dated but everything there. the television was very good most stations.
Room was cleaned every day and clean towels supplied.
Entertainment was also very good good mixture of acts.
The restaurant was very clean with an excellent choice of food always hot not as some of the reviews previous stated and always topped up. Meal times were good
The staff were pleasant and helpful.
Only problems were the wifi pain to keep changing codes and also walls very thin a lot of noise early morning. Next door liked to put tele on around 5 am
Would i go back? yes hotel is very good valueMore
Great Holiday here
We enjoyed our stay at Rio Park, the food was lovely, the rooms a bit dated but comfy beds and kept clean. The reception staff went out of their way to help us when we had a problem which was not their fault (Thankyou) ! Would stay here again as it really was excellent value for money.More
Hotel let down by Travel reps.
We booked this hotel at short notice and did read some of the reviews.
Many reviewers suggest that this should be a 3 or 4 star hotel, it is currently 2.
In many respects it is far above a 2 star rating. The staff are cheerful and friendly. There is always a good selection of hot and cold food available and it is of a high standard. Even the plates were hot.
The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis and towels changed every day.
The nightly entertainment is good covering all tastes. Wifi is free on a 3 day renewable system, but only in the hotel public areas. It is 40 mins from the airport.
So why should it not be graded higher. The rooms are basic, on the small side and in need of complete renovation. Bathrooms are dated and new tiles and ceilings wouldn't go amiss.
It is centrally located and within a 10 minute walk to the beach and the strip.
It would suggest that this hotel caterers mainly for the older generation. My wife and I are in our mid 60s but about 70% were older than us. Highlighted by the fleet of mobility scooters parked outside, which are available for hire.
What really lets the hotel down is the Thomson reps. You attend a meeting prior to your flights where they tell you what time your departure is and your bus number. When you go out for your bus they are not numbered and two reps told us different information, leading to frayed tempers and comments such as "this happens every time we leave here". Passengers on 1 bus luggage on another.1 of the reps just stood there saying I'm "panicking" Tony the senior rep was arrogant and unhelpful. His customer service skill left a lot to be desired. All they had to do was number the buses. I will go into more detail when I receive the holiday review questionare from Thomson's.
This hotel is well worth a visit, don't let the comments about the Reps put you off, hopefully this will be passed onto them and may prevent a reoccurrence in the future.More
