Hotel Rio Park

You'll find stylish, modern décor at this popular hotel, along with easy access to Benidorm's main strip.

This imposing building might look like a typical Benidorm hotel from the outside. But, thanks to a refurb, inside it's all funky retro-style sofas and contemporary cream lounge chairs. The big pool is one of the highlights.

Location-wise, you're in a quiet road less than a 10-minute walk from Benidorm's major bars and restaurants. And when you want to hit the sands, Levante Beach is a 15-minute walk away.

This hotel is part of our 3T favourites range until April 2017.

The best 2 star on the med

Bad points ... The rooms are outdated although the air con works very well and they are cleaned every day. The good points... The food is definitely 4 star . Lots of choice for breakfast both hot and cold. In the evening there is so much choice , from the typically English fair with chips, to fish ,different meats ,paella ,good soup and fresh veggies. The chef also cooks fresh meat ( the beef is very good) There is also a gala night on a Friday , the staff dress up and present you with free bubbly and there is a choice of prawns and mussels and steak. The TVs in the room have bbc which is handy for the news and the bad weather at home!! The bars are well priced and the happy hours are not to be missed. Although we didn't take advantage of the free entertainment it was of a very high standard. The pool area was large and like everywhere else well cleaned although the English seemed to have adopted the German habit of getting up in the middle of the night to put towels on beds. There is also a pool bar with well priced bar snacks. I would definitely recommend this hotel but ensure you make an effort to go to the old town which is fab.. More

Another great holiday

I stayed for 2 weeks with my mum and son, and just like my visit last year had a great time. The food was great if a little repetitive, room spotless as the rest of the hotel, the gala dinner which is new is a great addition and a nice touch. Well done to all the staff and also the entertainment team you make everyone holiday enjoyableMore

Gone downhill fast

Can't believe they now charge for ICE!!!!!! Our room was noisy, had a hole in the bathroom door and it didn't even close fully. No Hairdryer. Thomson rates this as a 3 star it's barely 2! Won't be staying here again.More

Much better than expectations

We have just come back from a week stay, and although the bathrooms are not the best at all everything else was great. Pool is a good size with three separate depths. Food is not amazing however there was a lot of choice. Staff are very friendly and everything is so reasonably priced. It's a very clean hotel, full of couples and family's. Although we didn't watch the entertainment everyone was recommending it to us. Only problem for us was location as its up a long narrowish road from the strip which has drunk locals hanging about most nights that's the only downfall. But I would stay again definitely. More
