You'll find stylish, modern décor at this popular hotel, along with easy access to Benidorm's main strip.
This imposing building might look like a typical Benidorm hotel from the outside, but inside it's all funky retro-style sofas and contemporary cream lounge chairs. The big pool is one of the highlights.
Location-wise, you're in a quiet road less than a 10-minute walk from Benidorm's major bars and restaurants. And when you want to hit the sands, Levante Beach is a 15-minute walk away.

Very Dated hotel
With this been our 2 year staying at the Rio Park we were very disappointed with the hotel this year. Hotel is very dated and although they are starting to refurb it they don't seem to be fixing other problems in the lower rooms. As soon as we opened our Door you are meet with walls that are disgusting really and we weren't to happy to stay in that room but when we went to ask for a move we were simply told I'm sorry we are full or come back in 3 days. More like thanks we've got your money now it's tough luck! Same goes for the Thompson's reps then didn't even now what to do with a complaint or how to fill any sort of forms in. Food wasn't really up to the previous year and was a bit bland if you ask me. Give credit to the cleaners though they were in everyday but a few Do not disturb signs would be good so they just don't walk in room like they did a few time 😊. Sun beds were only a problem if you wanted to be around the pools but on the upper deck we never had a problem getting a bed at 11am. Can't say anything about the evening entertainment as we went out every night. Would I stay at the Rio Park again? probably not unless I requested one of the new updated rooms. Our rooms had a big piller running through the bathroom it making it difficult to get in and out of shower/bath and hopefully new rooms have a few more Electric sockets in them with technology been a big thing these days. Just an honest review from how we felt on holiday and we've stayed in some other same star hotels which have been a lot better then the Rio Park. More
Great hotel for couples or families
We have been coming to Benidorm for 13 and have finally found the right hotel. General rooms are fine except you have to rent a fridge but you can upgrade to a superior or superior plus room and these rooms are beautiful. The staff are great and the food is fantastic. Entertainment was fantastic too, longest I have ever spent in the hotel on holiday as you couldn't fault it.More
Overpriced, Poor hotel
I was prepared to give this hotel a better rating but considering the team avoided to help me and the manager did not respond to my email then unfortunately I give it 1 star rating. Paid £360 for 4 nights at this place (cheapest price I found as most sites wanted to charge £390) so I was expecting a decent standard room. However the rooms are tiny and dated, poor dated bathrooms and the walls are so think you can hear next door in the middle of the night. I was particularly annoyed because our balcony door wouldn't lock and therefore when we left the room it was not secure. I didn't realise this until the 2nd night. I reported the 3rd day (morning) and hotel said they would send handy man to fix the lock. So after a long day around the pool I returned to the room and the lock still had not been fixed. Got ready for the evening and went back Down to reception and reported the lock again. Reception said they cannot fix and needs a new door. But still had I not asked they would have not informed me or done anything about it to make the room secure. They then suggested switching rooms but at this point I was on my way out for the evening. I maybe expected a kind gesture from the hotel to compensate this poor room but there was non. I was told to speak to manager who wasn't in but when I emailed I had no response and he clearly avoided me so I gave up. To sum up, hotel is rip off and overpriced poor rooms. Won't be going back :) More
This is the second time stay here. Couldn't not fault it really. Stayed on the 9th floor which is yet to be renovated but nothing wrong for a family of three. Cleanliness was spot on. Drinks very reasonable staff very friendly. Entertainment team were excellent. Good shows in the evening . Snack bar is a bit of cattle market at busy times as you have to look out for your food be quick or someone else picks it up!! I think a better system should be in place perhaps a number system. Sunbeds are a problem, they do have a man walking around putting stickers after 30 minutes but only saw him twice. We went the beach a couple of times because of this. Restaurants was clean and food was good. Free WiFi for two devices which was good as I had to pay for it in October.More
