By far the best 3 star hotel I have ever stayed in 10/10 and have travelled extensively worldwide. Cleanliness perfect ( I am VERY fussy) I even check the toilet seat hinges to make sure they are sparkling in ever hotel I visit. Juan on reception was extremely friendly and efficient and made me feel at home from the start.Beds were soft and comfortable and when I checked the mattress for cleanliness I found a thick and soft water repellent cover on it,which I found a necessity as you never know what some people do on hotel beds ! The food was amazing, always hot and a really good choice at every meal. One thing that no-body has mentioned is that when you walk into the dining room(,as well as hand sanitisers that the dining room manager makes sure everyone uses) was the huge viewing window looking directly into the kitchen, Believe me,they had nothing to hide as is was immaculate. To the chefs amusement they saw me having a really good look at regular intervals and always gave me a wave.I may sound a bit OCD here but I expect the same standards as I have at home, and I got them. One day a hygiene inspector visited with his clipboard and was checking the temperature of the food on display. All the electric food warmers had the temperature displayed for all to see. Oh,by the way,we had sponge pudding and custard on 4 days as well as carved beef and Yorkshire pudding. On most holidays I am only eating salad and chips after about 3 days as the foods offered are not good or repetitive, but not here as I enjoyed it all.
Thank you sooo much for our lovely holiday. We will certainly return and recommend to friends and family. J.Birtles NottinghamMore

Good value for money
I stayed in this hotel at the beginning of April for 4 nights, all inclusive. We were on the 4th floor and had two double rooms. The rooms were clean and pretty much what you would expect from a 3 star. We were also given a view of the pool, which was nice because looking at the reviews I did see that some people had a view of the bins. The beds were a bit hard but you can't really expect an amazing mattress for the money your paying. There are also TV's in the rooms which have some English channels and the bathroom is exactly what you need. However the one issue I did have with the rooms were the walls were very thin, you can just about hear anything that happens in other rooms or in the corridor. This was annoying because almost every night at 3/4 in the morning someone would start making a noise which would wake me up on several occasions. Even if someone sneezed you would here it. However I do realise that the hotel can't do anything about this now. I was very impressed with the quality of the drinks and some of them were branded. The food was ok and there was always something for me, I would say that I avoided some dishes because they didn't look very appetising. I would also say that the best meal of the day was breakfast because they did cooked breakfast, toast, porridge, you name it they did it. I also liked the fact that they made you put some antibacterial hand gel on before you entered the dining room, I thought this was a very good idea considering it was a buffet. In terms of WIFI it is free in reception but is very slow, you can pay for it in your room and from what I remember it was 5 euros a day, which isn't too bad. The issue I did have at times were the staff. Some of them were very friendly, however some of the bar men were very rude and sighed on several occasions when I ordered drinks even though that was their job. The entertainment at night was very good and there was plenty for children and adults. In the hotel there was a lot of hen do's and stag do's that would swear and scream even in front of children but really you tend to expect groups like this coming to Benidorm. Whilst we were in Benidorm the weather was very nice and we spent some of our time by the hotel pool, which was a very nice and clean atmosphere. Overall the hotel was extremely good value for money and this is why I have given it very good. Whilst we were there we went down to the beach, which was close to the hotel, only about a 10 minute walk. We went to Benidorm island which was a complete waste of time, it is just surrounded by seagulls and just one cafe and that is all it is. Don't waste your money going there, there is honestly nothing to see for what your paying for the trip there. We were also going to go to terra mitica (theme park) however although they had advertised on their website they were open, they weren't, which was very irritating, so if you are planning on going there I don't know whether it will be open. The receptionist in the hotel seemed to think it would reopen at the end of May after they had built a hotel within the grounds. We also went over to the old town which was really nice and to be honest overall I really enjoyed Benidorm and was pleasantly surprised after the reputation it wrongly has. I would recommend staying at this hotel, it is good value for money and is in a fantastic location.
Thank you for a lovely stay.More
noisy with paper thin walls
We were booked HB into the Rio Park 2* with booking.com but on arrival were told of an overbooking situation and we were being transferred to the Regente 3* on all inclusive. The position is handy for bars and nightlife but a bit far out from the old town. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The beds are rock hard and the walls paper thin, which did not make for a good nights sleep with people coming and going all night especially hen and stag parties. The food is fairly good with plenty of variety.More
Does what it says on the tin!
Just come back from my hen party in Benidorm. Couldn't fault the hotel at all. Staff were all fantastic especially Jonny (guapo! ð) who was always happy smiley and chatty- a real credit to the hotel! Vincent the barman needs to take a few lessons out of his book! The hotel is clean n we'll maintained. Yes there were a few hen and stag parties staying but come on this is Benidorm what do people expect!
Thank you to all the staff for a fantastic few days! I wouldn't hesitate to stay again!More
