The Hotel Regente is in a first-rate spot - it's close to the beach and Benidorm's bars and restaurants. Plus, it's got a great pool with a children's section and an activity scene that ticks off live music and competitions.
The Hotel Regente has proved to be a firm favourite over the years and it’s easy to see why - a great atmosphere, comfortable surroundings and friendly staff make this hotel a popular choice. The heart of Benidorm with all its shops, bars and restaurants is only a few minutes' walk away.
Come back this week and not over impressed with this hotel the food was so-so the same over and over again although been all inclusive we missed a few meals and ate out, the rooms very basic and the standard of cleaning left something to be desired , i,ve seen worse evening entertainment but i don,t know where ,the highlight was a plate spinner who kept dropping the plates..The staff were friendly and a nice pool area and the hotel was clean enoughMore

Love the Place!!!
It's the 3rd time me and "the lads" have stayed in the Regente and there is a reason behind that, we think it's great! 6 of us stayed from the 26th Sept to the 3rd October.
We stay all inclusive as we are having quite a bit to drink and for the extra money, it's very good value. The local spirits are only 24% compared to the usual 37% but they are part of the price so just bare it in mind (and have 2 with less mixer). If you wanted a Smirnoff to make up for it, the price is half and you still get the pepsi/coke for free so 2euro gets you a Smirnoff and Coke!
The meals are spot on and we went for every one of them. The dinner time probably gives you the least choice but still very varied. For the evening meal, they do a beef and Yorkshires and other "proper" meals throughout the week. All the lads thought the meals were great.
The hotel itself is always clean and tidy and the rooms are small but perfectly formed. They were cleaned every day and the second floor cleaner was great. If you were late getting up, she would come in and sort the room after you had gone, no matter what time it was. The pool was a little on the cold side but it never stopped us going in every day (even when it was raining).
We love the place and will be booking to go back at a similar time next year.
Our ages vary from 48 to 64 just in case I gave you the idea we were youngins'!!!More
Don't go all inclusive.
Good reception on arrival, given an excellent room on the side of the building overlooking the pool area with sun all day on the balcony. The room had a small TV but had several English channels including BBC and ITV. it was quite small but adequate and clean. Couple of downsides, the laminate floor was not stuck down fully and made a cracking sound as you walked around, very noisy and this was on the landings as well. From the inside the lock on the door looked as though it had been broken open from the outside as the frame on the inside was shattered and large screws were holding the locking plate to the back onto the frame. the room was at the very end of the landing and the door recessed back, not very reassuring from a security point of view.
The food was very acceptable with a good selection and the staff were always pleasant.
Don't go all inclusive as the so called local drinks are a complete rip off. Sprits seem to be bottled just for all inclusive consumption are so weak that with a sugary tasting mixer is just not drinkable. The only drinks worth having was the draft beer or wine. You will be wasting your money all inc.
Plenty of beds around the pool so no need to set the alarm for 7am to get the towels out, but some still did.
Rooms on the front of the hotel have a poor view of an apartment block and the hotel its self is a little bit out of the main Benidorm entertainment area and I think if you stayed in the hotel for a week you might want to find some more lively entertainment other than in the hotel.More
