Very well looked after

Just come home after a 5 day all inclusive stay at this hotel. We were there as a group of 19 on a stag do!! Hotel staff were all friendly enough. Drinks were ok, lager could be better. Food was nice. Didn't see much of the shows at night as we wanted to hit the strip! I'd say the hotel is more for couples who just want to relax. There was no activities around the pool area or neither was there any music. Maybe coz it's the time of the season we visited. We bought a Dr Dre beats pill and played music through our phones. I liked the open deck area just outside the bar, looking down to pool area. All In all all a nice hotel More

Loved it

Came here on my stag do last Wednesday until Sunday.lovely hotel, food was nice, beer was nice 99.9% of the staff where lovely and friendly, room ok cleaned etc everyday.the only reason am not giving 5 stars is because there was a barman one evening who was very grumpy and there are ways and means of speaking to people and he did it the wrong way!.just because we where a stag do doesn't mean that every stag do is the same.we where not load, abusive,or swearing etc.a few of us where interacting and laughing and joking with other holiday makers.the other reason is our room B6 smelt of damp.would I stay here again most defiantly More

Brilliant hotel

Just spent 2 weeks all inclusive with my hubby at the Regente. We've been to several hotels in Benidorm but this is definitely our favourite. The rooms are spotless, clean towels daily and sheets changed regularly. Some people complain about noise from other rooms but we had 2 really noisy children next door to us and it wasn't too bad at all. The food is first class, I ate well at every meal and I have kidney failure and on dialysis and my appetite is very poor. Not at the Regente, I put on 7lbs in the 2 weeks, and feel better than I have in a long time. The staff can't do enough for you from the cleaners to management, everyone of them always smiling and happy. I didn't really see the entertainment as I was exhausted by 9pm most nights but my hubby said it was quite good. Thank you Regente for a fantastic holiday and we hope to be back next year, health permittingMore

Return yet again

Visited regente again 12th sept for two weeks, having booked with cosmos at a cheaper price than last year saving of £200 normally book with thomson. We arrived after a very stress full day , plane delay, waiting ages for luggage, then 1and half hours on coach, got to hotel at 2,30pm reception staff lovely , got to room and unpacked (could only open 1case as other case had been tampered with couldn't get key in lock ,had to buy pair of pliers to open lol) then our holiday started ,staff at hotel remembered us from last year (Miguel, saif ,victor, pedro ,Vincent)sad to hear shah had left , two lovely new staff Johnny and sasfo (sorry if wrong spelling) all very pleasant. Room lovely cleaned daily , food very nice especially roast beef on Fridays , only downside was entertainment not as good they have their own entertainment team who do shows 3/4 times a week not our cup of tea but they work hard , Julian the entertainment guy works hard day and night , very enjoyable hols hope to be back next year with family thanks all at regente xxMore

Average Hotel. Did the job but could have been better

Stayed here October 2015 as a couple with a large group of friends celebrating a 50th birthday. I probably wouldn't recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to go out on the drink in Benidorm. Location wise it's a decent walk from the main square and beach compared to other hotels of similar standard, However there are shops, restaurants and an ATM nearby. The hotel itself is a decent size and has a large restaurant and pool area with plenty of beds. There are two lifts and as expected you have to wait a while at busy periods. Check in was an absolute nightmare, we arrived at around 11pm, there was only 1 person on reception and around 25-30 people arrived at the same time. Our group was at the front of the queue and it took the lad 45-50 minutes to get us all checked in. Then some members of our group had to return to reception because their triple room only had 2 beds. One member of our group was given 3 different rooms before finding one that had 3 beds. The guy didn't have a clue what was going on and just didn't seem bothered: Hotel grounds, public areas and rooms were all spotless at all times, clean and modern. The air conditioning in the rooms is absolutely dreadful, even on the cold setting it just pumps out warm air. Reception said they couldn't do anything about this. This lead to the room being unbearably hot and on a night was an absolute sweat box. Breakfast was good. Decent variation of hot and cold food and drinks. Nice and fresh. The bar staff and waiters were the highlight of this hotel, very friendly and professional at the pool bar and the main bar. Drinks are reasonably priced and decent measures. Luggage room and courtesy room is available at check out. All in all we had a great weekend but probably wouldn't stay here if we returned to Benidorm. Reception staff, location and Air Conditioning really let the place down. More
