good location

My wife and I stayed at this hotel 9th to 16th september 2014 on arrival it was quite late we were checked in very efficiently we asked for a high floor which we got I have to say the reception staff were excellent always helpful. After a small problem with bed linen which was sorted the following morning the maid service was absolutly excellent the room was kept spotless cleaned with new towels each day. Food, the breakfast selection was excellent quality was very good the same could not be said about the evening meals there was little choice I did find the food to be bland but that is my personal opinion the Thomson holiday rep, never really saw much of him however did see him in a bar late one night telling others how to sell trips and how he was going to win man of the year. overall the hotel Regente is in an excellent location and offers good value for moneyMore

Great Easter Break

we went at Easter for 10 days all inclusive, and all i can say is loved it,some complaints of the entertainment as it was a Spanish holiday and was geared up for them, well it is their home, there was a good choice of food, drinks was also great, for the price we paid we would do it all again, thanks to the staff who work very hard to keep everyone happy which is not easy sometimes.More

let me start by saying ive been coming to this hotel for the last 17 yrs upto 3 times a year . as always its a case were we come outside school holidays so theres not as many children which suits us. dont get me wrong, i dont mind kids and yes ive brought my children here. so you could say i love the hotel, the staff, the people you meet who come back the same time year after year, the hotel were its situated and so on.well simply yes.the friends and people this year have been great, i,ll mention them later ha, but ha ha ha, theres always a few niggles and they are all down to bugets which why as a paying customer i shouldnt have to suffer, and these are the points. firstly, the stag and hen doo,s,nobody minds a good laugh but i want a holiday , if i wanted that i would have booked to go magaluf.i do think regente should class the people on the holiday as holiday makers instead of just filling the rooms of the likes of 18-30:s( wen i say 18-30,s i mean gangs of them and not couples of couarse) when predominatley this hotel is known for the more relaxed nature of a holiday especially at this time of year when if the hotel manager looks at his books he will know the same people book like myself year after year after year. the glass were we sunbath on the upstairs decking hadnt been cleaned in 16 days, last year the window cleaner came round everyday.this year there were no umbrellas on the upstairs decking which were a big big blow, i think this was due to an air bourne 1 hitting somebody earliear in the year, but please could the regente stabalize them proper if thats the cause and not have none. they were a real delight at certain times of the day. on this occasion we were in room b2 downstairs which we asked for ,that was a mistake this year as they piled all the loud ones down there as well.the entertainment has gone worse each year. i;d like to know why the rio park had lady gaga and other good and expensive acts on while all the regente has is students doing greece and the same singers and magians ive seen year after year. the regente has had solar panels fitted and is saving thousands and thousands of pounds but does not throw any money back into the entertainment or even the window cleaner business ha ha,.please please regente pick yourself up and spent some of your profits on in improving certain areas. so back to thanking a load of nice people like the family from wolverhampton, the couple from st helens , brenda from little hampton, eddie and ilene from isle of man, bob and josie from near nottingham, james(19) and his fiancee from ireland. p.s if u read this james i will wiln u next time ha ha ha, and a massive thank you to mike and michelle who always make every year fantastic and to those who i havent mentioned a big thank you. overall i think this is a friendly and comfortable hotel but clientele standards have slippedMore

graham w,

Going back!

I know I'm a little late in writing my review (we stayed here xmas last year) loved it so much we've booked to return xmas and new year .2014/15 Food was excellent, rooms were spotless (although neighbours can be very noisy).Whether it was because it was xmas time the entertainment was great! We normally never stay in the hotel for entertaiment but this was exceptionally good. The staff are lovely and work very hard over the xmas and new year period....hope everyone left good tips!!! One very minor question/problem was a few mornings we missed breakfast after late nights! We went down to the dining room at the time we knew it was open (we were all inclusivoe) but it was being cleaned etc for lunch we were approached by one of staff who said he could get us a menu....we were made to feel rather uncomfortable....so left. Would someone please tell us what is the situation for all inclusives...i.e. snacks etc. Also do we hand in amigo card when checking in?? Thanks to anyone in advance for replies.More

great hotel as usual

this is our second stay at the regente and it is even better than last year, the food is fantastic compared to last year, I have had gastric bypass surgery and have been able to find something to eat each night and the breakfasts are the best I have had in benidorm we have a room at the back of the hotel and his was great as it was a lot cooler to get changed on night I aid for the WiFi at the hotel which was 20 euros for the 2 weeks we were here which is a lot cheaper than on my contract we had a cloudy couple of days but with TV in our room it helped pass the time I have seen reviews with regards to the food and I have to say they must be really picky eaters not to find anything to eat the only thing I can say is that I could hear a man snoring in the next room. I gave stayed in a lot of hotels and for a 3,star hotel the regente is great I would definitely come back again More
