Great Hotel in a quiet part of Benidorm

The hotel is in a good location if your looking to be away from the busier part of Benidorm; there are some good bars across the road however like the Tropical. All the bar and restaurant staff are really friendly and helpful and we never had to wait long for anything as this is a smaller hotel compared to some of the others. The room was spacious and had a separate bath and shower; it was cleaned daily and to a good standard. The food was good, there was always something for everyone and it was replenished regularly. Nighttime entertainment was very cheesy which we kind of expected and there was a struggle for sun beds and some people queued up from before 9am to get one. Overall we would stay here again if we were to return to Benidorm. The pool was nice and warm and the dress code for dinner was not enforced; which meant no long trousers in the 38 degree heat!More

Nothing but trouble

Most of the the hotel staff were friendly and the food was lovely, however first problem was we hired a safe and the card they gave us for it didn't work and it took them over 2 hours to send someone to fix it after reporting it various times to reception! Plus we had a trip booked that day and we didn't get out of the hotel till gone midday so we had lost half a day and then the next day got up in the morning and had no hot water! Phoned down to reception to be told the whole hotel was having this issue so it would be sorted in 30 mins However it wasn't the whole hotel so they lied to us about that! When the water came back on at 1 olock it was brown! And had a foul smell, which smelt out the room, we were told just run the water for 45 minutes it will come clear, It was still brown at 6 olock in the evening, we asked for a room change due to the smell we were told it was the whole hotel having the issue which was a lie again! We had to shower in the public showers and the hotel saw no issue with this, we finally got a room change the next day so we packed all our things ready to move but we couldn't move until 1pm so we went out to come back and find our door left open by the maid when she was at the other end of the corridor and had finished our room! When our passports, money, bank cards, everything we had was on show! We received no apologies from the hotel for any of these issues we just got lied to time after time, our holiday was ruined due to hotel mess ups! I would return to Benidorm but never to this hotel!! Georgia J,

Excellent hotel

We have been to this hotel several times and have never been disappointed. The food is always good and the accommodation is very good; the rooms are spacious and every one has a balcony. Meal times are well spaced out and the staff are really helpful - if you speak a few words of Spanish, they do their best to help you along!More

Good venue for Benidorm Palace.

This is.a fairly modern hotel in a reasonably quiet area in Benidorm. The hotel is very clean and we found the staff to be courteous and helpful. The spa area is well run and treatments reasonably priced. We stayed over night on the 9th July as we were going to Benidorm Palace. It is very close to the Palace which was ideal for us. It is very close to the Aqua park and the dolphin centre. Shops and bars are all around and it's an easy stroll to the beach. The air conditioning wasn't the best. We did mention this at reception who told us there was a problem throughout the hotel which they were trying to resolve.also the free wifi was very slow to respond. There are no guests under the age of 18 so is ideal for those looking for a child free holiday. The restaurant was good with plenty of choice. We have stayed here before and would do so again.More

An Adult Only Hotel in the quieter part of Benidorm

We stayed here in October 2014 and have only just realised that we had not submitted a review. This was our first experience of an adult only hotel and we could not have picked a better one. The public areas are light and airy with a downstairs 'ballroom' where the evening entertainment took place. The acts that were brought in were mixed and not repeated during the two weeks we were there, one or two were absolutely brilliant but there was also one that was dire. The music quizzes were run by the staff were good fun. The pool area was nice and clean at the start of the day, however, some guests seem to think they should leave their empty plastic beakers to blow around the area rather than put them in a bin. Our room was lovely with a super sized bathroom and it was all kept clean daily. We were on the fifth floor and it was reasonably quiet at night. The restaurant had plenty of choice each mealtime, we never had the same meal twice during our two week stay. The restaurant staff all worked very hard and were cheerful and friendly. The bar staff soon got to know you and would know what drink you were likely to order when they saw you at the counter. I am sorry that I cannot remember the individual names as they were brilliant, I would have if I had done the review as soon as I returned. If you walk to the beach it should only take 15 minutes at the most, but you will have to avoid the many mobility scooters along the way, some of the riders seem to be oblivious to pedestrians. There are bus stops on both sides of the road almost outside the hotel, we took a bus to Altea (1 euro 60 cents each) which is a beautiful quiet resort, we then walked back to Albir where the gentleman in the TI centre was very helpful suggesting places we could visit in the area. It was easy to find the bus stop for the journey back to Benidorm. On another day we took a bus to Finestrat and walked back to Benidorm, mostly along the front. The Old Town of Benidorm is well worth a visit during the day, in the evening the restaurants and bars tend to be 'heaving'. As the hotel is adult only there were some 'hen and stag groups' staying short term, generally they were a great laugh and very well behaved although while we were there we did find the male groups rather noisy around the pool during the afternoon; not too much of a problem as they were only there for two or three nights. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel but the one thing that would make our rating 'excellent' rather than 'very good' is if the Management would consider allocating a designated smoking area around the pool, so that non smokers can avoid sitting in that area. I am sympathetic to smokers not being able to smoke where they like. but I do find it difficult when I am lazing on a sun bed & the person next to me lights up and the smoke drifts in my direction.More
