This place has a really central setting. It’s right in the heart of Benidorm and just a ten-minute walk from Playa de Levante – the town’s most popular beach. Lined by shops, bars and restaurants, this wide stretch of sand comes with all the trimmings.
The hotel itself is a big contemporary number, with bedrooms set over eight floors. They’re simple but smart. And they all come with extras like satellite TVs and private balconies.
Outside, meanwhile, the pool is the main attraction. It’s a big rectangular affair, framed by a spacious sun terrace. During the winter, it’s heated. There’s also a separate children’s pool, and during the summer a snack bar complete with a palm-fringed dining terrace.
In terms of food, big global buffets with show cooking means there’s always plenty of choice. Dishes tend to have a Spanish flavour – think paellas, tapas and fresh seafood – but there’s plenty of cuisine from other countries, too. We’re talking everything from steak and chips to pizzas. For after-dinner drinks, meanwhile, the open-air bar serves up cocktails by the pool.

Lovely Hotel :)
We stayed here for the February half term week with our 13 year old daughter. The room was very clean and spacious. Walk in shower cubicle was excellent - something not seen often in hotels as usually showers are over the bath. Balcony was large - we overlooked the pool so got the sun in the afternoons. We rented the fridge for 14 euros for the week and the safe for 14 euros plus 10 euro deposit. Good selection of english channels on the TV. Staff were friendly and helpful - we asked for extra pillows and these arrived within minutes of the request. Pool was heated and water was nice and warm. Hotel is in a very good location, and although close to the centre of Benidorm was amazingly quiet. We only ate in the hotel three times over the week, but the food choice was good and the staff very efficient. All communual areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean, and had free wi-fi. Bar staff were friendly and helpful. Only downside is that the room walls are fairly thin and we had noisy neighbours, and the beds are fairly hard.More
Great hotel, very reasonably priced, great location
Stayed in this hotel Last week for a stag weekend. Hotel was perfect location, under two minute walk to the nightlife. A pint of local lager was only €1.50 during the day at the pool bar. There was a lot of older people staying in the hotel and the entertainment was aimed at that age group, but that didn't bother us anyway as we just had a few drinks in the hotel and went out. Hotel was perfect for what we were after. Rooms were great and clean. Would definitely stay here again More
Lovely week at Hotel Helios
Stayed at this hotel for 1 week mid February. We (my aunt who is an active 91 year old and myself) were allocated a room on the 9th floor. The room had an over-bath shower but when I spoke to the gentleman on reception he kindly and very promptly arranged for us to get a room with a walk in shower which was more suitable for my aunt. The hotel is very clean and there were clean towels daily. Food in the restaurant was good, the only minor gripe would be about the desserts which tended to have a lot of blancmange types on offer and not enough cakes!! However, there was lovely fresh bread at both breakfast and dinner. The evening entertainment wasn't great but the hotel is very near a lot of bars and clubs so it wasn't a problem going out to see a show if you wanted - which we did a few nights. All in all with the lovely weather we enjoyed it was a very pleasant stay at the Helios.More
First visit to Benidorm in over 18 years, stopped at the Helios for 6 days with my wife and two friends celebrating my 60th birthday.we wanted a central location close to all amenities. The hotel was just what we required, in the new town a short stroll to all entertainment and bars.the market is just a short walk away.the hotel itself is spotless, the rooms are modern , spacious , with walk in shower, air con good size balcony , flat screen tv with lots of channels and very clean.the maid changed our towels and bed sheets every day.the staff were very helpfull and friendly , the pool was heated and the pool area as with the rest of the hotel was kept spotless.the resteraunt was buffet with a good selection of cold and hot food and a chef who cooked different meats each sitting.it has a nice relaxing bar area with happy hour each day. I would reccomend this hotel for couples and families and would definately return to the helios again.More

Sunshine at the Helios
Stayed for two weeks in Jan. Hotel has covered walkway from road to entrance. On entry reception on left with lounge with settees overlooking a beautiful heated pool area. Also tables and chairs. Another room where residents played cards and dominoes, Good hairdresser opposite. Met by two very pleasant male staff at reception.'Given our key card and safe key and without any delay as there are 3lifts we were at our room. On entry saw a beautiful dark wood gleaming floor. Double bed and single bed. Wardrobe with 2 sliding doors;one full length mirror. Dressing table also with mirror. Bathroom jacuzzi bath with shower above and glass door.Large wash hand basin with small glass shelf on right. Bathroom was always gleaming with fresh towels daily. Bedding was immaculate. Maids worked very hard and were always very pleasant. Having a pool view room with a good size suuny balcony was absolutely wonderful. It was really appreciated. On entry to restaurant showed card and then sat where you pleased. There is a cooking staion every meal cooking fresh food e.g breakfast bacon; eggs Lunch and evening meals could be fish or meat. We had some fabulous steaks cooked by a very pleasant chef as you wanted it. Buffet station had a very varied choice of food, It was difficult sometimes to make a choice. Fresh fruit and choice of smallcakes .ice cream. yougurts, Tea and coffee only at breakfast. Small bottle of water 1.40euros. Tables kept clean with fresh tablcloths for lunch and evening meals. Not rushed in any way although hotel was full. Cannot comment on entertainment as we go out in the evenings. Outdoor market behind hotel on a Wed. and Sun. Lifeguard very helpful around pool where there are plenty of very nice sunbeds which appear new, Tea and biscuits in downstairs lounge 4.0pm 1 euro. Due to leave hotel at 7.55am.and told as there were only 2 rooms leaving early restaurant would not be open but a picnic breakfast would be available. On returning from last night out spoke to male reception regarding this and said this was the first time we had encountered not being able to have a hot drink and cold buffet before departure, Following morning took safe key to reception and told restaurant would be open.so our thanks to whoever arranged this as it was appreciated.. Will not hesitate in booking The Helios next Jan.Probably more than 2weeks next year. wMore
