Just arrived back from an amazing holiday at the Helios and just could not fault anything, I booked this holiday for a special birthday for my partner and was not disappointed, it was brilliant from start to finish. We arrived late, check in was very swift and we were given a picnic supper which was very unexpected. The bedroom was lovely and very spacious with a walk in power shower, our room was overlooking the pool and had a large balcony with the sun all day, which was perfect for relaxing with a drink before dinner. We were half board and enjoyed the food, there was lots of choice and no queues also no problem getting a table. The pool is lovely and warm and never had any problem getting a sunbed, it was great not having to get up early to get your towel out as who wants to do this on holiday. The hotel is so central to everything but just far enough away to avoid the noise from the bars. Special thanks go out to Chema and Diego, we had a problem with the electric going off for a few hours one afternoon, they were very apologetic and went out of their way to sort this as soon as possible, we came back from dinner that same night and found they had left us a chilled bottle of champagne in our room for the inconvenience, this was a lovely gesture. My partner was also presented with another bottle of champers on his birthday which was very unexpected and was very touched by the management recognising his special day. We will definitely be returning to the Helios. If you're thinking of staying here you will definitely not be disappointed. Thank you once again for a fab holidayMore
Excellent value for money
Just returned from a week at this hotel and we honestly could not find a fault.
Food i thought was above average buffet fare with something to suit everyone.
Wifi was free throughout the hotel you just need to get a code from reception.
Rooms are lovely and kept very clean by the daily maid service.
We had a room with a jaquzii bath which was nice touch.
Did not watch the entertainment in the hotel as we just used it as a base and went out in the evenings.
Hotel is a fab location and just next to the english square although you did not hear any noise once you were in bed at night.
Also did not see any stags or hens in this hotel which is a welcome relief.More
Another fantastic stay at Hotel Helios 4 ladies all aged over 40
We arrived to a very smooth check in
4 girls over 2 rooms, next door but 1 to each other.
free wifi. we paid for the room safe which was 24 euros with 10 euros being returned with the key.
room was clean and comfortable with twin beds, ample storage space and plug sockets.
the shower was set up slighly weird. with the shower gel being where the shower head should have been and the shower pointing towards the shower screen so inevitabley the bathroom floor ended up wet, whilst i am not short i found i had to bob down slightly to stand under the shower. but couldnt complain about the heat or the power at any time of day.
we found if you leave the dirty towels in the bath that they were replaced & the room was cleaned daily.
we stayed half board and never struggled to find something to eat for breakfast or the evening meal.
the pool was lovely and warm i cant say the same about the weather.
we used the bar at the pool daily and were always greeted with a smile and a prompt service.
the hotel is ideally located for the nightlife - we ventured down the road to jokers and lochness every night and then usually ended up in cafe benidorm & sinatras.
day time drinking we headed down to the beach and can highly recommend tikki beach, daytona, harleys and the white lion - well the weather was rubbish so not much else to do than go to the pub lol
all in all a fantastic long weekend away and we will definitely look to return again next year.More

Stayed at the Hellios with my wife and another couple on the 10th May for a week .
We arrived to late for the dinner as the coach was delayed , when we asked at reception if we could get something to eat we were told we would have to go out to eat . Also the 10th was my birthday but this was let slide ( disappointed) .
The room we had (728) was the room that jack built with lights that kept going out and a strange noise in the bath room , also the wall are paper thin I wear an hearing aid but I could hear every word spoken by the people in the next room .
The food is of good standard and the restaurant is clean and smart but the coffee was bitter and strong .
The cleaning staff were very good and the room was spotless with a good size balcony .
We have stayed at a lot of hotels in Benidorm over the years and I feel this is the poorest of them all although the location is excellent . I will not be returning . More

Had a fantastic time at the Helios. The make over has transformed the hotel into a modern bright enjoyable place to spend your holiday. The staff are all very welcoming, the food on offer was plentiful and varied. Particularly liked the pool guy taking towels off sun beds and leaving a laminated note reminding residents of the pool rules, needless to say it did not happen very often. The pool area itself is spotlessly clean and plenty of room for comfortable sun beds. The rooms are also very clean and modern , there's even a fridge you can hire for a small amount to keep drinks cool. The cafe bar at the entrance to the hotel is a nice touch and was always busy, especially after 3 pm when happy time starts !! All in all had a fabulous stay at the Helios would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning.More
