A laid-back hotel close to Benidorm's clubs, bars and beach, the Hotel Helios gets top marks for location.
The Hotel Helios has a really central setting. It’s right in the heart of Benidorm and just a ten-minute walk from Levante – the town’s most popular beach.
The hotel itself is big and contemporary, with bedrooms set over eight floors. They’re simple but smart, and they all come with satellite TVs and private balconies.

We stayed for a week end January young man on reception very welcoming, room was light and fresh and larger than others we have stayed in when gone to Benidorm we thought it was best than all the other ones. Food was good always something and chips were lovely, only fault was salad bar was to close to some of hot food so difficult to know who was queuing for what. Would definitely stay in hotel again great location.More
We had problems with our booking agent who had only booked our hotel for bed and breakfast, I did ask them to put it to full board and they said that they couldnât do that so I emailed Hotel Helios in Benidorm, no problem at all they upgraded the four of us to full board and told me to make it right when we got there. The staff are helpful and friendly and a big plus the food is very good, the hotel itself is kept extremely clean and a brilliant holiday was had by all.More
Good winter break
My hubby booked this 3 days before we flew for a week at the beginning of February 2017, a birthday gift for myself, some winter sun. We booked with Thomson and flew from Doncaster airport, we arrived mid morning at the hotel and our room was ready and waiting. The room was spacious, very clean, and the bathroom was modern and spacious, we had a balcony view over the town side. Plenty of coat hangers in the wardrobe, and several drawers in the room. Toiletries provided in the. At hook if required, but we always take our own. Hairdryer in the bathroom didn't work tho, but again I always take my own. The downside too the rooms are the bed is so hard, and squeaky. But I do have joint mobility problems so maybe this is a preference . And the other small negative is the safe, â¬3 per day or â¬14 for the week, but as they are a hole in the wall locked up ,I cannot see why there needs too be a charge, also no tea or coffee facilities in the rooms. Our room was serviced everyday, although the bedding wasn't changed, it was tidied. And the bathroom was cleaned and towels refreshed.the walls are thin we heard every word and movement of our neighbours We had booked half board, the breakfast was ok, cereals, yoghurts, cooked cold meats, the hot option of DIY toast, fatty ,greasy bacon, baked beans, sausages, eggs was ok but very greasy and everyday was the same. The evening meal served 7.15 pm to 9.pm. OMG, it was a free for all, each evening we went at a different time and had a struggle too get seated, the food was ok, but again basic, and bland, even the speciality was basic. Same every evening with a slight variation, ie Friday evening, options steak pie, or steak in sauce, or fish fingers, speciality was curry and accompaniments. Chips with everything or covered in a sauce. The one comment I would make is that as this time of the year is Dutch/Spanish and elderly Brits, they tended too meet in the dining room and make an evening of their meal, this then blocks the tables, hence the problem we had of finding a table. Having said all of the able the hotel was, in an excellent position, and was a great place to stay, we would recommend too family as an ideal position too visit Benidorm. On the Tuesday we stayed it was my 60th birthday, but we had told no one at the hotel, so I was pleasantly suprise drew when we returned after our evening out too discover a bottle of bubbly, with 2 glasses and a card saying 'happy birthday from the management' nice touch and very much appreciatedMore

Myself and my wife were in Benidorm for 10 nights for the first time in October 2016. We were more than pleasantly surprised with this hotel helios. It was wonderful. The rooms were a good size and kept spotlessly clean. The food was delicious with always plenty of choice at breakfast, lunch and dinner. The location is very good close to bars, restaurants and clubs and within walking distance to the old town. We enjoyed this hotel so much that we have booked again for this year for one of our holidays. You can't go wrong with the price and value for money. If you are thinking of booking this hotel or trying Benidorm for the first time you won't be disappointed. More
