Hotel Helios

A laid-back hotel close to Benidorm's clubs, bars and beach, the Hotel Helios gets top marks for location.

The Hotel Helios has a really central setting. It’s right in the heart of Benidorm and just a ten-minute walk from Levante – the town’s most popular beach.

The hotel itself is big and contemporary, with bedrooms set over eight floors. They’re simple but smart, and they all come with satellite TVs and private balconies.

Hotel Helios

Well it was our 2nd visit to the Hotel Helios and it was even better than the first. The food much better hotter than last year, the entertainment staff Lupe and Yamel again amazing can't praise them enough. My daughter was remembered by previous guests and the majority of entertainment people especially the Sunday night entertainers I just wish I got their names. We're already looking to book for next year. Amazing don't change a thing More

First taste of Benidorm

Benidorm was not my destination of choice however after our stay at the Helios with my husband ,son daughter in law and 4 year old grandson I would return. The hotel was spotless with daily cleaning comfortable beds ,excellent helpful staff from the moment we checked in , the reception ,restaurant and cleaning staff were excellent .Jose the lifeguard helped make my grandsons holiday he was great with the kids and he ran his pool area like a military operation. The pool isn't the biggest however we always managed to get sun beds. Jose ensured that any beds with had towels on and not being occupied were red carded and the towels removed .everyone agreed that this was fair and I never heard any complaints .Another plus was no inflatables allowed in the big pool just in the baby pool an idea should be adopted in most hotels especially in the busy season. The food was excellent loads of choice every meal tables cleared and new cloths for every diner. This is not the biggest hotel but I would recommend it for families and the location is central not too far from the busy areas.More

Good Food, Bad Service!

Me and two other friends traveled to benidorm on the 15th August to stay in the Hotel Helios for a week full board. We were excited to stay here based on trip advisor and the pictures of the hotel we had seen. However from the moment we arrived the staff were extremely rude. Me (male) and two friends (girls) who are all gay anyway and on a friendly holiday were greeted with shock that we were all staying in the same room. (Cheaper ?). There was a day when we went to reception to ask a question and the receptionist hardly batted an eyelid then when the phone rang, picked up without informing us that she had to take the call etc and just cut us off. The call looked more personal than business as well! Aswell as the bad service the pool seriously looked like it had not been cleaned in about a month and the green lights that came on during the evening didn't help it look any less like a pond! The only friendly staff we came across during our stay were the chambermaids. But even the rooms were not cleaned properly, we left rubbish to be thrown out and it was not touched for 4 days, as we had no bins in our room. The sheets were not changed very often as there was still sand in the beds from previous days, the floors were not cleaned properly as after a shower our feet still ended up filthy. We spent most of our days at the beach and out as we could not bare to be around this awful place. And finally on the day of departure we waited over an hour for the courtesy room to become available , then we spotted reception giving another man the key for the room who had not been waiting long, it goes without saying that we immediately complained and got in first. The only redeeming feature was the food which was good, and the variety was great. we had an indian night and mexican during our stay. I give one star for the friendlyness of themaids and one for the food.More

Lovely Holiday

We have been to Benidorm many times and stayed all over. The Helios was very central, close to market and all the bars but far enough away not to hear them at night. The entertainment team work very hard Lupe and Yarmel are girls who like to have fun and a special mention to Jose who excels around the pool area. He is the towel police and what a great job he does too, leave your towel on a bed for too long and it ended up on the naughty chair.. The food was excellent a lot of choice and of a good standard. Rooms cleaned daily. and the air con was a great relief. Would I go back to The Helios, Hell Yes!More
