This big hotel comes with a pair of buffet restaurants and a giant pool. And it’s all within easy reach of the beach…
This hotel has a great spot in Benidorm – it’s quieter than down at the town centre, but still just 15-minutes’ walk to both the main strip and sandy Levante beach.
There’s a big lagoon pool at the heart of the hotel. And there are weekly theme nights at the 2 buffet restaurants including Mexican. There’s also an adults-only bar with a pianist providing the soundtrack.
Designed for 3 to 11 year olds, Thomson Kids’ Club offers 2 hours of activities, 5 or 6 days a week. And that includes at least 3 evenings. It’s split into sections, with Tots for 3 to 5 year olds, Team for 6 to 8s, and Tribe for 9 to 11s. Best of all, most kids’ clubs activities are completely free. And outside of peak season, there are parent and toddler sessions 3 days a week, too. For your peace of mind, all Thomson Kids’ Club staff have advance DBS checks and hold NVQ Level 2 childcare qualifications. They’re First Aid trained, and there’ll be at least 2 of them on duty at all times. Open from April to October.

We stayed here with our two young children under the impression of the high quality hotel experience. How wrong could we have been. On our arrival we where told our room was on the first floor. Our key card wouldn't work. After two trips to reception it turns out we where on the eleventh. Fifteen minutes wait for a lift (which is very quick in this hotel). We got to our room, and found a lack of fridge, tea/coffee, kettle, iron and tv remote. We decided to get changed and use the outdoor pool. The pool itself is lovely but has no sun due to the other large buildings surrounding the pool area which makes the water very cold indeed especially with young children. The sun actually doesn't hit the pool area fully till around four o'clock in the after noon. Life guard stations where covered with red sheeting stating "Pool Closed" all week. We returned to our room to shower and change to find our shower head was faulty and remained so for FOUR DAYS even after constant complaints to the reception desk. After waiting yet again for lifts we decided to try the restaurant. The selection of food was terrible and stayed so for the whole week. We also found some of the food in the supposedly hot serving dishes to be stone cold and this is as the restaurant had only just opened. We returned to our room which was very hot, understandably of course and decided to use the air conditioning. It never worked properly during our stay and again after constant complaints we where told the air conditioning is at the managers discretion. The room has beading around panels and had pins sticking out which one of my children caught themselves on. We had a constant smell of sewage around the bathroom area. The acade machines are faulty in all areas for example the air hockey tables hardly blow any air, pool tables take your money but do not release balls. When we complained about the pool table at reception we where told someone would be right over to sort it out. Twenty minutes later a member of staff came and gave us dirty looks as if we where trying to get a free game of pool from the hotel. There is a play area outside next to the pool which as a parent I found to be unsafe and inadequate. I had my children in the seated area next to reception and both where playing quietly under my supervision when a security guard came over and told me to stop them playing and to be quiet which I found insulting. On the last day we where due to leave on our coach at 07:05am and found the restaurant only opened at 06:30am. For anyone with young children half an hour is not enough time to eat a breakfast. The only two good things we can say is our room was cleaned daily and the indoor pool was warm and had a life guard. This is not a family orientated hotel at all and would class it as for pensioners only. How this hotel has a four star rating is beyond me.More

Stay away..... This hotel's hygiene needs investigating
I stayed here with my husband and our 19 month old son, 11-18 October 2014 and my parents we're also holidaying with us here. I waited until today to write this review as I've got my Son's stole sample back from the Dr's surgery!.... Which has confirmed he has picked up Norovirus!
Well firstly it is the first time we have stayed in this hotel. The room was nice, spacious and seemed clean, however there is a fowl sewage smell when flushing the toilet or taking a shower. If you would like a remote for the TV you must hire one from reception and pay a refundable â¬12 deposit. Fridges are also available for hire.
The entertainment can't be faulted during the evenings as there is enough to keep the Family interested.
The restaurant is large and you are shown to a table which is a little less chaotic than searching for one, however the hotel wasn't overly busy.
The food is poor quality and poor variety.
The table clearing service was on the slow side as we frequently had plates piling up waiting to be taken away.
This is the only all inclusive hotel where water is served from a TAP (although probably filtered) and served in pint glasses! Surely a a hotel which charges higher rates than most other all inc hotels in Benidorm can afford to supply their guests with bottled water!
The outdoor pool is large, although during the time we visited it wasn't quite warm enough to swim outdoors. The sun bathing area along with the pool is mainly shaded by the neighbouring hotel.
The indoor pool is small but suitable.
The hotel has a lobby bar, a couple of TV areas showing the Brit soaps during the evening in one and sport in the other. There is a piano bar open during the evening and the Fiesta Flamingo bar is open in the entertainment room during the evening.
There is a sports court and mini golf on the 1st floor terrace.
The day before we were due to depart the hotel I was in and out of bed with sickness and diarrhoea, I felt so unwell and found difficulty in walking from my bed to the bathroom! My Son then fell sick the same evening. As much as I couldn't wait to get out of the hotel that appeared to have caused my sickness I found it to be such a challenge travelling back to the UK but the feeling alone of getting out of that place kept me going. I was getting back to myself and recovering 2 days later. My parents and husband also caught the same virus and unfortunately to this day my Son still has the virus, I took my Son to the Doctors last week and I have just received the results of his sample today confirming that my Son has contracted the highly contagious Norovirus, and I was informed by the Doctor that this virus is picked up in large establishments hotel being one of them and it caused through very poor hygiene.
I googled this hotel after finding out about the confirmed virus that we had caught during our holiday and it appears that this hotel is renowned for it. I am hoping this gets investigated as I wouldn't wish the way I felt on anyone and my Son is into the 2nd week of it.
I booked direct with the hotel so I will be in touch with them regarding this issue and I will also be getting in touch with Benidorm's local environmental / hotel standards agency.
I have stayed in many hotels in different Countries and I haven't once picked up anything like this.
I would not recommend this hotel nor would I stay at this hotel again even if it was free!

Just back from a week here, all I can say is that it's a good hotel, but a few things wrong. I think the hotel wants to sort out some of the night time entertainment, it's the same as 2 year ago when we last went. The hotel wants to get some of the kids play machines moved, there is now one in the smoking area, not a good idea, when we was there only under 12's seemed to play it, not good.
Food very good most of the time, yes it was only warm at times, but it was fine, plenty of choice at breakfast lunch and dinner.
Over all a good break, it's why we went, but think we will give it a miss for a year or so, had planned to go back next April, but not now.More

Stay elsewhere ! Benidorm is a fantastic place but the food in this hotel is awful!
We are currently on holiday in the flamingo oasis and spent the first 5 days of our holiday in the room with sickness and diahorrea including my 5 month old twins ... It has been so worrying! The food in the restaurant is below average for choice and served barely warm, the rooms smell and the air conditioning only spreads the smell- I'm sure this is where the bugs come from. Spoken to many people today and this bug if rife so if its too late to change hotels bring anti sickness tabs and be prepared! Ugh. We can't really comment any further as we have not really been able to use any other facilities.
Wish we had stayed in our trusty Benidorm Plaza - never had any tummy trouble there but it was booked up which speaks volumes! Sorry Thomson it's your loss as we will be using Jet2 to go there as you no longer use that hotel!More
