This hotel puts you close to Benidorm’s beach and clubs, and comes with a pair of pools, too.
The Ambassador Playa has a prime spot just a few minute's walk from Levante Beach. Benidorm’s bars and clubs are on the doorstep, too, but the hotel also has four bars of its own, all with nightly entertainment.
There’s a pair of pools – one of them is covered in winter – and a buffet restaurant that’s just as good at serving paella and fresh seafood as it is curries and chips.

Perfect room and very clean and great staff with a smile which makes my stay special. Location is in the thick of it but didn't hear any trouble from bars. Food is not to bad but felt it was repeated, always found something for my belly. Pool area very busy but if you keep walking around you will find the odd sun lounger. Very cheap café across the road john & josephs I think its called but quality of food would be an other topic. More

Had a great holiday at the Ambassador 2 situated in the heart of everything, with the western bar right next door, only 5 min from the beach, plenty variety of food always hot , really friendly staff , rooms always cleaned every day , highly recommended More
Just got back from an amazing stay at the Ambassador Playa II. The hotel itself is in a great location right in the middle of the Levante end of Benidorm so there is plenty to do there whatever type of holiday you like. We planned to go out in the evenings to watch some of Benidorm's tribute shows in the bars nearby but it was too hot to sit in bars. However, we didn't miss out because the Ambassador has some of the tributes come to the hotel and in the summer months they have the entertainment outside in the cooler air. This was perfect for us so we stayed in most nights and watched some great shows in the hotel's grounds. The Ambassador has had a facelift since we stayed there last (although that was many years ago) and the reception area is now very stylish. The rooms are comfortable, ours was on the 8th floor but we never had to wait long for lifts no matter what time of the day or night. The rooms are cleaned every day and fresh towels are placed in the bathroom whether you request them or not - you ask for new towels by leaving your used ones in the bath. Bedding is changed every other day but even in July/August that was sufficient. The food at this hotel is amazing. There is plenty of choice with both English dishes and some Spanish dishes. We would have preferred more Spanish food but there was always something to tantalise your tastebuds. My partner fell in love with the ice cream machine (probably meant for the children but always had mostly adults using it!) Everything was always piping hot and as a dish went down it was replaced quickly. Unlike many hotels we have stayed at, there was never a queue for dinner and even when the restaurant was full it never seemed crowded. The staff in the restaurant were friendly and efficient. We made full use of the facilities while we were there. We hired a fridge so we always had cold drinks for our room. We also visited the spa at the hotel. It is well worth the money to use the spa (although I chickened out of using the ice pool!!) It is also worth mentioning that the Wifi in the hotel is free to use for hotel guests. The only negative I can give is not about the hotel itself but rather the guests staying there. There is a 'no reserving sunbeds' rule at the hotel but it didn't stop some guests queuing at the door for an hour before it opened so they could nab the 'best' sunbeds. We found this quite funny and took to watching from our balcony as they would literally run to get the best beds and brolleys. It took the pool man over half and hour each morning to place all the sunbeds neatly around the pools and about 5 minutes for the guests to ruin it all by moving everything, placing their towels and leaving. We ended up feeling very sorry for the pool man after all of his hard work. It isn't as if there isn't enough sunbeds to cater for most of the clients staying. There are also reclining chairs for those who don't want a bed, but these are mostly taken by the 'sunbed nabbers' to use as tables between their sunbeds. It is the staff in general at this hotel that made the holiday. From the receptionist to the maids to the hard working bar staff - everyone always had a friendly smile and nothing was too much for them. We felt at home straight away in the friendly atmosphere. Both my partner and I had birthdays while staying and we both received a bottle of cava in an ice bucket sent to our room with the hotel's compliments. It is little touches like this that make this hotel special.More

Excellent location. Entertainment every night. People tend to take all the sun beds early with towels and no people there is a notice not to do this but I guess no one can read. Waiters excellent and maid service excellent thank you Maria. Rooms a little on the small size but hay ho you are on holiday who wants to spend too much time in you'r room. There are two bars connected to the hotel both with entertainment. Food in restaurant ok but we ate out each to their own taste. All in all a good stay would recommend this hotel as I have booked again.More
