The Gran Hotel Delfin teams a peaceful, edge-of-town location with easy access to the beach.
This hotel sits on the quieter side of town, just across the road from Poniente Beach. A half-hour walk along the seafront gets you to the centre of Benidorm. Or you can hop on the bus that stops just outside.
Inside, rooms have a contemporary look, thanks to a white, lavender, and charcoal grey colour scheme. Abstract paintings decorate the walls, and some line up wood-beamed ceilings and sea views.

Lovely hotel in a quiet part of Benidorm
We spent a wonderful relaxing week in this charming hotel away from the hustle and bustle of Benidorm new town. The hotel is situated opposite the beach in the La Cala district and it fits in perfectly to the relaxed atmosphere of this quiet area of the resort. The staff were all very helpful and courteous. The pool was a little small but never felt overly busy and sun beds were always available. The public areas were all clean and well kept and we particularly enjoyed sitting in the evenings overlooking the bay sipping cocktails. The food was plentiful and varied, especially at breakfast time and the dining area never felt overly busy. Our bedroom was comfortable albeit the decor being a little dated. The hotel is due to close in November for a major refit and no doubt this will see a modernising of the bedrooms. Overall, a charming hotel reflecting a more traditional antidote to the anonymous chains of the modern large hotels.More
I would definitely recommend this hotel. It's in a quieter location of Benidorm but close to beach and only a short walk to bars and restaurants. The old town is about twenty five minutes walk away but a taxi is relatively cheap if you don't fancy the exercise. The hotel itself is great, rooms are good although I would probably recommend the sea view options or the upgrades, there are also family adjoining rooms. The pool area is great and there were no problems securing a sun bed in the spacious outdoor areas. We ate breakfast and lunch at the hotel and then went out for dinner. I've got to say that the breakfast was spectacular, pretty much anything you would want and the quality of the food was very good. The bistro area for lunch was also very good made all the better by the older lady who was waiting on ( I hope she doesn't mind me saying that ), she was very polite and helpful. This leads me on to the staff, they were excellent. Especially the staff on reception, these were probably the most helpful and caring i have ever come across, they seemed to genuinely care and did their best to help on every occasion. When I arrived we were fortunate to get upgraded for the first few days ( hence why i talk about the upgrading of the room ) before moving in to the standard room later on in the week. Here I experienced my first problem, the room had a smell of someone who smoked in the room, I couldn't be sure of this as there was a suggestion it was the filter on the air conditioning, the other room the family had was fine. The staff at reception and housekeeping did their best to help and we ended up moving to another room for the last two days, it was actually a room overlooking the beach in one of the prime positions. The staff were really apologetic and certainly did their best to listen and help, the lady with the blonde especially. I loved this hotel and would most definitely go back there without doubt.More
Had an amazing week here at the Gran Delfin. I travelled with my son and his wife and family we could not fault a thing . From arriving here till the morning we left every thing was 100%. Our rooms were spacious and very clean lovely thick fluffy towels changed every day if you wished bed linen changed once in the week. The food was very good a lot to chose from every meal time my grand daughters loved the breakfasts they could go and help them selves to as many waffles pan cakes and numerous other breakfast dishes and a choice of sweets as in lolly pops and Haribos . The whole place was of very high standard. The pool area was excellent the girls loved it we did go to the beach one day but the girls much preferred the pool. The only thing I would suggest would be there is not enough umbrellas around the pool side. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be returning here. Also some lovely little pubs near by.More
Lovely family Summer holiday.
We stayed here for a week the hotel is beautiful and staff really helpful. Swimming pool and outside area were lovely and food tasted amazing. We stayed in a family junior suite and had a lot of room and storage clean towels and bedding every other day. A stones throw from the lovely clean beach. If I was to put a couple of tiny issues it would be the pool area was unmanned and some of the little children were jumping off the side of the jacuzzi in to the shallow end of the pool! and the bathroom shower (wet room) flooded every time we used it.More
First Time to Benidorm and will be back
This hotel is just so lovely and relaxing. The breakfast was actually amazing and I am still missing it to this day! I would want a room with a balcony next time as we were on the first floor, with not a great view. But due to the location of the hotel being so great, wasn't a huge issue. The staff were lovely and friendly. The pool was beautiful. Can't wait to return 😃More
