Benikaktus has bagged a top spot at the head of Benidorm’s famous Levante Beach, with sweeping sea views from the restaurant, pool area and bar terrace.
Benikaktus has the best of both worlds from its end-of-the-beach plot. It’s tucked away from Benidorm’s busy centre, but close enough to stroll to the seafront in less than five minutes, and reach the town centre in 20.
This place ticks all the classic holiday boxes. It’s got a swimming pool surrounded by sunloungers, a restaurant dealing in big buffets, and musicians and flamenco dancers performing at night.

we've just come back from staying at hotel benikaktus. We had a really nice time .Hotel is brilliant , very clean food excellent sea view fabulous .If there's only one thing I could say against it is the nighttime entertainment which is vertually nil it is all very spanish .Also could do with more channels on TV in English More
Absolutely no complaints with this hotel. Excellent service
Checking in was quick and painless, firstname.lastname@example.org room was of a good standard and nice size beds. There is a fantastic sea view from the balcony, out towards Peacock Island and along the Levente Beach. There is no escaping the early birds who go down and claim. The sun beds by leaving their towels on the and often some. Of them not being occupied til late afternoon, this i think is an issue for. Most hotels. It did not bother us as we went to the beach which is only about 50 mtrs away to the sand or just down the steps to the rocky part. I have to say that the food was lovely and there was a different buffet every night. All in all, fab place to stay and close to everything.More

hotel was great location beside the beach, clean enough rooms and friendly enough staff which was good, however air condition in rooms did not seem to work which did not help when too warm. Food was not great either and not a great deal of choice. fridge in the rooms was not cold which didn't help keeping drinks cool.More
Definitely 3 star
Stayed for 4 nights with my husband and one year old. Check in was very slow and we were asked to wait because some people hadn't checked in yet - they had left their luggage and gone for food nowhere to be seen. Not sure why that affected us checking in! Half an hour later we checked in. You have to pay 12 euros for a safe. We were in room 203 - the view from the balcony was lovely we could see right over the beach. The room itself was quite small when a cot was in there too and shutters opened up to the balcony. The balcony was enclosed with glass either side like a conservatory so for very hot if the curtains were open! The air conditioning also does not work if you have the window on the balcony open so we found that the balcony was always sweltering hot! Not ideal if you want to sit on there in the evening and children asleep... The mini fridge was also on the balcony. The door on it didn't shut properly and we rang reception who said a handyman would come. They never came for the whole holiday. Had the usual hairdryer in the bathroom and a bath and shower over the top. We did find that after showers the bathroom would smell from the drains. The hotel is definitely more for older guests there wasn't anything for children except a shallow pool that was always cold because it didn't get any sun all day. The staff were very friendly and made a fuss of my son which was nice. We had breakfast only served 8-10. There was cereal, fruit, croissants and cooked breakfast items which was enough for us. We never had a problem getting sun loungers around the pool although it was just before schools have broken up so may be different over the rest of the summer. Something worth thinking about when booking is that access to the hotel is up a steep slope which was hard work with a pushchair if you were going to the seafront a few times a day. Definitely wouldn't be possible for anyone disabled. Overall it was a good base for our stay but we would stay somewhere else if visiting again. More

Amazing hotel just a shame it's located in an increasing crime ridden resort
We visited this hotel in May. Couldn't fault it. Very clean, buffet food good with acceptable variety when you factor in the cost of your holiday. However the resort has gone downhill since our last family visit 3 years ago. Avoid the strip like the plague. Foreign touts and security aggressively pushing drugs and under age African prostitutes. Multiple assaults and robberies in the week. Local police on looked but didn't react. So don't expect any help there if you need it. It's put us off booking Benidorm until these criminals get sorted to clean the resort back up. Shame as would definitely revisit this hotel.More
