With tropical gardens, bloom-framed pools and a tranquil spa, the Barcelo Asia Garden Hotel & Thai Spa offers a taste of the Orient.
Coral-coloured buildings, Babylon-esque hanging gardens, and koi ponds spotted with lily pads make this place feel like it’s been lifted from the Far East. Rooms are dressed in Japanese-style neutral tones, and even come with kimonos.
The property is set at the foot of the Sierra de Cortina mountains, and its hillside position offers widescreen views of the ocean. When you want to explore, the nearest beaches are a half-hour walk, or a short cab ride, away.

5star hotel 3star service but fab massage
First impression of the hotel was dirty uniforms on greeting staff..after a long day at golf checked in and no food served anywhere except the room we eventually used our room service and delivered to the Lounge area ..no food served between 4and 6.the room was lovely 1401 private terrace but no view beautifully appointed how ever left at 9 still not cleaned at 1.45 on my return for siesta ð then at 5.45 turn down service turned up ...the staff in general where not well trained i.e. asked for tea making tray no cups....turn down left cushions outside reception gave wrong information about classes and pools .....the breakfAst how ever was first class something for everyone oh and the champagne bar shuts at 6 all a little amateur .......for me the savings grace was the. Balinese body massage and facial by Miguel just fantastic ....advise you go 1 hour earlier to use pool and steam room this wasn't explained at check in and found the girl on reception in the spa rude cold and curt hardly front line staff ....hotel has no soul and certainly can't compete with the genuine Thai hospitality .....More

Beautiful! Already Rebooked
Travelled to Asia Gardens with afew friends for my 40th Birthday celebration on the recommendation of a friend who'd been twice before. It totally exceeded my expectations. You would never know you were in Alicante! We had beautiful weather, and the gardens and pool area are breathtaking. There was a heated pool in the family area which was very busy so we stayed away from there and also a small adult heated pool by "the heads" which were also always occupied but we had absolutely no problem getting five loungers together anywhere else around the pool and the main pool wasn't really that cold anyway. The bar / restaurant by the pool was lovely with plenty of seating but very limited vegetarian options - if you don't want salad and cheese or simply having the meat removed from the meal you are a bit stuck! We also tried the Thai restaurant one evening which we couldn't fault. A quick cab ride into Benidorm town gives you more options if you don't want to stay relaxing by the pool all day. We've already rebooked again for May 2017! A perfect relaxing mini break!More
Lovely hotel with an oriental theme behind the main road and overlooking Benidorm. The gardens in this hotel are like a tropical oasis with large rubber plants etc giving a real jungle feel to all of the paths that lead to the various hotel room blocks. The hotel is very clean and spacious and has a lovely pool area with Thai style cabanas and deck chairs dotted around. At this time of the year the pool is rather chilly and there are few people about but I would imagine in the summer it is very busy, however all seems in good repair and well organised so although there are many rooms it should not get too crowded. The room that I had was in the block starting with a 4 and I can tell you it is quite a hike from reception and the restaurants, with lots of floor changes using either steps or lifts. If you have any sort of walking difficulties or disabilities I think you should speak to the hotel at the time of booking to ensure that a suitable room is going to be available for you. The room itself was superb- nice and big with a large bathroom with separate walk in shower bath and dual sinks- I really could not fault it. My room was also on the ground floor and had a large terrace with nice table and chairs outside adjacent to a large lawned area. From this block the pool is quite close. The food that we had in the hotel was top quality and the staff throughout the hotel were professional and courteous. This hotel is near to the water park and in an upmarket area behind Benidorm so avoids the downmarket areas of the resort. The seafront is not really walkable but a short taxi ride of 10 minutes will get you there- Nice Hotel you will not be disappointed.More

Pools of delight
If you love swimming pools don't miss Asia Gardens. There are pools on top of pools and plenty of space for everyone. The service is outstanding you'll find no reason to head down to Benidorm. The breakfast buffet is great too just get there early to avoid the rush.More
Fourth time here and we'll keep coming back
This hotel is just it. We have been coming here since 2012 with the family and it is just perfect. We always take the double deluxe room and the terrace is amazing. The service is flawless and the gardens are beautiful. The breakfast buffet is full of variety and my brother loved the mini club. The restaurants are worth trying. I highly recommend this hotel!More
