Liam is legend.
Great location. Very clean although the cleaners didn't come every day. The staff were friendly enough but a big thank you to Liam who was brilliant and always us laugh and made our holiday! Food was standard for an all inclusive, I don't that in bad way. I've never had a bad all inclusive in 4 visits to Benidorm. The apartment was fully kitted out if you want to cook yourself. The shower was excellent. My only gripes were the lack of sunbeds round the pool, the poorly maintained kids games area and the very poor air conditioning. It would of kept the room cooler if we had left the fridge door open. Saying that, the temperature was mid 30's every day. For what we payed it was value for money. I would go back again purely because of the location.More
A Break with Friends
Well, firstly I wasn't looking forward to this holiday, as I'd heard some awful things about here. I'm quite a fussy person so I was already of the mindset to be booking into a different hotel within a day. I am pleased to say, that didn't happen. The apartment was spotless when we arrived and it had all we needed. I did have a problem using the shower as I have to use a walking aid, and there wasn't enough space or anything to hold onto when getting in / out of the bath. We were only there for a week as a large group, so I managed. The sun beds really do need to be upgraded. I fell twice as I didn't realise the arms were broke until I tried to get on one and then back up, and I wasn't the only one. Quite dangerous really. You need to take your own towels as you can't get one for the pool here. Saying that there is a shop just down the road where you can get one for 4Euro. There is another pool at the sister block literally right opposite. We didn't use it as there was a large group of us aged over 40/50's and we didn't want to be bothered with all the children. The food was good enough to get you through the week, and once again the restaurant was kept lovely and clean and the staff were very pleasant, even though some holiday maker's would test the patience of a saint. I wouldn't go here as a couple or a family, but for a large group of adult's it's ok.More
Hotel nice staff not so....
I have just arrived home from a week in benidorm and I booked this hotel all inclusive.... Big mistake as the food is not great and the only cocktail on the menu is sex on the beach any thing else has to be paid for. Firstly I don't like to put a place down but I do like to give people my honest opinion so here goes.. Arrived here in the afternoon check in was quick and had to pay a 60pound deposit no problem as I knew from other reviews on here this is the case. The room on arrival was nice small and you have to pay for safe and TV... Not that I watch TV but for those with kids this could be a problem WiFi Is also at a cost. The Aircon wasn't working and I reported this at 5pm by midnight it still wasn't sorted but it was solved so I can't complain. The all inclusive food is at the sister hotel across the road and it is bad. I lived of chips the 2 times we ate here and didn't go to breakfast so I cannot comment on that. The animation team are rubbish un interested in the kids and generally not very good. The staff in the restaurant do not acknowledge you or smile and the bar man is the same not great for a family but OK for me as I started going out more hence I wouldn't do all inclusive there again. The hotel itself minus the majority of staff is nice enough and in a good location. Liam the bar man on reception in a morning is absolutely fantastic smiley lovely guy he was great. I hope this helps. So I would go again but not with kids I would find elsewhere and wouldn't go all inclusive again. More
All I expect from a 3 star is clean and tidy, decent food and drinks. This hotel provided none of those. I have seen the cleaners twice in 2 weeks. I suspect the good reviews are from people who stayed here for a couple of days. After 2 weeks , we leave tomorrow, I'm still waiting to see if we can get a late checkout. The staff, with a couple of exceptions are extremely rude, the food is served in a downstairs room with no windows and it never changes. The only redeeming feature is the location but you shouldn't be forced to drink in the bars around an all inclusive hotel.More
the fire alarm went off 5 times one evening we ran down stairs in distress and the hotel was at normality loads of people complained to the manager ,he just strugged his shoulders and said relax go back to your rooms,i said in our country we just lost peoples lives in a fire,is answer was I ring your rooms if theres a fire lol the room doesn't have a phone. also if yer trying to have a relax forget the noise from the pool echoes in to your rooms music playing no sound proof,i ttok a gamble here and lost !!!More
