An introduction to Casa Carpia
Located a five-minute drive from the village of Arriate is Casa Carpia, a pretty, traditional villa set in its own lawned grounds. The villa is located in the centre of an enclosed olive grove of 13,000 square metres. The interior of the villa is light and airy and simply but comfortably furnished. Some rooms have attractive antiques and the living room has a open fireplace and doors leading out on to the terrace. The well-equipped kitchen, a bathroom and twin bedroom complete the downstairs level. Upstairs are two spacious bedrooms - a twin and a double - and a second bathroom. The double room has air-conditioning and doors which lead out on to a sunny roof terrace.
The villa's location makes it perfect for exploring the towns of Ronda, Jerez and Seville and for the more energetic visitor, the National Park of Grazalema offers rewarding walks and hikes. Arriate itself is a bustling village, with numerous restaurants and bars in which to sample the local fare, and a good range of shops to stock up on supplies.
