An introduction to Villa Los Pinos
A charming one-storey house full of character, Villa Los Pinos is furnished in traditional Andalucian style and stands in a quiet spot down a country lane off the road to Alhaurin El Grande which is approximately three kilometres away.
Couples wishing to experience a taste of 'real Spain' and explore the coast and nearby towns and villages will appreciate this simple and rustic villa.
Alhaurin itself is an attractive market town about fifteen minutes inland from Mijas. The location is peaceful with the immediate surroundings being largely made up of orchards. From the villa there are lovely views of the mountains, and in the pretty garden of orange, pomegranate and other fruit trees a large swimming pool lies in a lush green lawn.
Alhaurin el Grande lies thirty kilometres from the city of Malaga, and is one of the most picturesque villages in the Guadalhorce river valley, between the River Fahala and the stream of Blas Gonzalez. Exploring the countryside, sampling tapas and attending the many cultural activities like jazz, flamenco and local fairs alongside sporting activities like tennis, golf or trekking in the Sierra de Mijas and Cartama should be on any itinerary. Around the area are some of the finest golf courses in Europe, many with a restaurant. The closest courses are Alhaurin Golf and Country Club, Mijas Golf Club, Lauro Golf Club and Torrequebrada Golf.
Further afield the historic cities of Cadiz, Cordoba and Granada, home to the renowned Alhambra Palace, and the popular resorts of the Costa Del Sol can be reached for a daytrip.

Not impressed with the villa, it wasn't clean when we arrived, bedding towels were only changed once in 2 weeks that was after we kept pestering travel agent, the villa wasn't cleaned inside for the whole of our stay...owner was rude at times... more on this review
