This hotel has a charming and unique atmosphere, occupying a quiet position in a pleasant residential area, close to the centre of Funchal. The hotel consists of two distinct parts: the old wing, located in the house itself, is beautifully decorated with old paintings and period furniture, surrounded by delightful gardens and a small pool; the new garden wing is built in traditional-style with lovely side sea views overlooking the pool. The modern wing overlooks the second pool with direct access to the sea. Apart from breakfast, which guests take in the restaurant attached to their own wing, all facilities in both parts of the hotel are available to all guests.
