Villa Casa do Marco

Set in the heart of the Algarve, this Portuguese-style villa is in a great spot for exploring. When it comes to location, this typical Algarvian villa comes up trumps. It’s not far from the heart of Sesmarias, a small village near Albufeira. And when you want to explore a little further afield, hop in a car and you can be on the beach in fifteen minutes.

Set in its own well-tended gardens, the Casa Do Marco comes with a large private pool. Bordered by a spacious sun terrace dotted with sun loungers you can see right across to the island of Farol on a clear day. There’s even a Portuguese barbecue by the poolside, too, great for dining al fresco.

Inside, you’ll find this former family home has been lovingly restored. First up, there’s a large living room that comes complete with its own bar and satellite TV – comfy sofas and a separate dining area make this a great social space. There’s a well-equipped kitchen, too, complete with the all-important dishwasher and washing machine. Bedroom-wise, you’ll find one comfy double which is en suite and two twins.

On the food front, if you don’t fancy eating in, you’re just a five minute walk from Sesmarias' bars and restaurants. Expect lots of local eats – we’re talking just-caught seafood and fresh veggies farmed nearby.
