Quinta Do Vale

Quinta do Vale is an old stone farmhouse that has been beautifully coverted into a villa suitable for a family or two couples. Although it has been appropriately equipped with modern facilities and contemporary furniture, when this property was refurbished the owners kept many of the original features, such as, the open fireplaces and bread oven in the stone-walled kitchen, the tiled floors and the natural water tank by the entrance, all of which serve to maintain an air of rustic charm.
The villa is set in a countryside location amidst groves of cork trees, and the upstairs veranda commands views across the river valley and the nearby farm. Close to the charming mountain town of Monchique, Quinta do Vale is a world away from the busy resorts on the Algarve coast, but at the same time, within a short drive to the nearest shops and restaurants.
