Split levels and marble floors add distinction to a very comfortable interior, whilst two big fridge-freezers in the kitchen mean that you can stock up fully in Monchique, under four kilometres away, along the partly unsurfaced road, and then laze the rest of your holiday away, with barbecues by the pool and no shortage of cool drinks.

Of course, if you prefer, there is plenty to do - beach trips, hikes up to Picota peak or down to Caldas, excursions to lovely Silves or the wild west coast and no shortage of restaurants within a short drive; the choice is yours.
