An introduction to Villa Kimbo
Villa Kimbo offers all the essential ingredients for perfect family holidays: a peaceful location in the unspoilt countryside of the western Algarve, easy access by car to superb beaches and restaurants, modern uncluttered accommodation and a fabulous swimming pool surrounded by a garden area.
Villa Kimbo shares beautiful grounds with the owner's other villa, Horta Da Avozinha. As the two houses stand at opposite ends of this lovely garden, there is no compromise of privacy, but the tempting fruit trees - oranges, lemons, figs, peaches and avocados - are there to be enjoyed by guests in either house.
Being of fairly recent construction, the interiors of Villa Kimbo are of a good, modern standard. Three of the four bedrooms enjoy en suite bathrooms, whilst the pretty living room is centred around an attractive fireplace and stone-clad wall. The swimming pool is set amidst a lovely terrace with a shaded barbecue dining area.
If you can occasionally tear yourself away from the privacy of your own pool, the low-key beach resorts of Luz and Burgau are just four and eight kilometres away respectively, and offer a reasonable choice of shops and restaurants in addition to their fabulous sandy beaches. For greater variety, the bustling historical town of Lagos can be reached by car in less than 15 minutes.
