This beautifully converted farmhouse balances the old and new. Original feeding troughs decorate the large living room, antique furniture dresses the bedrooms, and a pool graces the gardens. Although Villa A Quinta is a real rural retreat set in the heart of peaceful countryside, the market town of Loule is only a 10-minute drive away.
Taking pride of place outside is a freeform swimming pool with Roman steps. Above the curving edge lie borders overflowing with brightly flowering plants and herbs. Quarteira Beach is less than a half-hour drive away. The wide, calm waters are particularly family-friendly, and there's a free car park on hand.
Al fresco meals are all taken care of with the built-in barbecue and covered dining area. Inside, the farmhouse-style kitchen is home to a family-sized dining table. Read more ››

Best holiday EVER
Couple 27 years old:Late review. Went here June 16. Absolutely fantastic holiday. I would recommend this to anybody wanting a relaxing holiday with loads of potential to explore. We didn't rent a car but if we went back we would as a car would allow a lot more options to explore. We both love walking so burgau was a lovely 35-45 min walk. We walked to burgau most days either for the fantastic beach or lovely choice of restaurants. The room was a small kitchenette which was idea for the two of us to store Portuguese meats and cheeses to eat with a nice cold bottle of wine ! We will definitely be going back at some point !! This holiday is not for people who want to party but for people who love to be out the way and to enjoy Portugals brilliant way of life More
A lovely semi rural setting in what could be a nature reserve, complete with frog ponds and two lovely rescue cats.
Beautiful setting and well kept gardens. Rooms kept clean with tidying service each day. The staff are marvellous and go out of their way to help with anything at all; they really want you to have a happy holiday. The sea setting is superb and you can walk along the coast to Burgau or Luz. It is very helpful to have a car if you want to sightsee although we saw a number of buses going to main resorts.More
excellent place to stay
Stayed here in February half term, our second time. Everybody was really friendly from reception staff to the maids. Rooms were very clean with all the facilities we needed. The gardens are lovely. You can walk to into Luz or Burgau along the coast which is lovely.More
Better than expected
A lovely place to stay. The apartment we had was more like a little cottage. We had lounge, kitchen patio along with bedroom and bathroom. We had a view of the sea and access to a pool only a few steps away. The breakfast had food for everyones tastes and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. If you want a relaxing holiday this is the place to be. Bureau and Luz are 2 small villages either side and are accessible by either a cliff top walk or carMore
