Booked last minute for 6 of us and luckily got this hotel. Sent right to the restaurant when we arrived at 10pm after travelling, nice touch. Room was spotless and after a quick call to reception extra bedding was brought to us. The staff organised a mobility scooter for my dad and we're helpful at all times during our stay. The food admittedly was sometimes only warm but there was a microwave provided for those who wanted to use it (my mum!). The pool was cold but the sunbeds were plentiful and clean. The local drinks were the ones on all inclusive but if you wanted branded drinks they were available at the top bar for purchase. We emailed the hotel before our trillion to as, to be next to each other and near the lift and the hotel were able to accommodate us. Short walk (down hill) to the local town and beach. Many thanks for a lovely stay. More
Went for a six day short break and loved it! Excellent staff, beautiful place, modern and spotless! Shame the bedrooms didn't have a full wall as it gave no privacy and the pool was minus temperatures but still had a perfect time! Only thing we didn't like is the bouncy castle turning up! Yes the kids loved it but we had tantrums as it was to pay for and with it being all inclusive we'd not carried money with us! Definitely would highly recommend and will go back! More
Beautiful rooms, fantastic food. Sells cider on tap- brilliant for my coeliac partner. Gluten free bread at breakfast and soya milk was also no trouble for my dairy intolerant daughter. Also plenty of vegetarian food for me! - I know- nightmare family, but we are great for reviews! Nothing is a problem here. Can't wait to go back More
Great Hotel, definitely recommended.
Once we arrived at about 21:00pm we received a warm welcome from the staff who checked us in very quickly and showed us where to find everything. We were shown to our rooms which were to a great standard. The beds were comfortable, the room was always thoroughly cleaned and the TV had a good amount of English channels. The pool was very big, warm and clean. The food had a great variety and it all tasted phenomenal. Staff were always helpful and happy. The only flaw of this hotel was the entertainment, for my family it just wasn't enjoyable but we went to the towns which were all great, highly recommendedMore
Superb for young families
We have just got back from a week's stay in early April! We were worried about the weather but we were lucky and it was beautiful, we needed shade to rest from the sun at times. The pool was cold but there were plenty swimming, and the children didn't seem to mind. This review is from a parent's POV with small children, I'm not sure what people without children would make of the hotel, but we found it very well planned out. The baby pool was ideal, it's ankle deep so toddlers could play independently while parents could watch from sun beds as it was so close to them. The main pool was sloped so shallow at the children's end. The park is brilliant, really safe and just the right size and children would go to and from the splash pool to the park as the wished. We didn't really use the kids club, we went in a handful of times but stayed with ours, but the children in there seemed to really enjoy it and got to know each other ready for evening disco! Rooms great, though ours was a fair walk away. Food adequate... you won't go hungry but it was a busy canteen style place and could get quite busy. Again, the children loved it and requested to sit in the 'monkey' or 'scarecrow' zone. Snacks aren't allowed round pool so you had to go down to the snack room but we were that full from breakfast and lunch we didn't really bother, but ice cream is available from there are specific times only, you pay for ice lollies and branded ice Cream. Cake and juice were left for our little ones birthday in our room (at an email request before we went) which was nice. Evening entertainment was barely seen by us so we can't comment. We tried the disco but ours usually fell asleep by then (8.30-9) after a jam packed day so We usually headed straight back to the room. Wifi super... I'm guessing this has been improved as reviews we read said it was bad. TV's had little English channels. Main criticism I think is that it is so big it could feel a little impersonal but that could suit some and we didn't really mind this and a lot of people seemed in such a hurry and lacked manners and consideration, jumping in lifts when you'd been waiting etc so we learnt to stand our ground which was a shame but not the hotels fault, we found the staff friendly and helpful, especially one barman who always made up our babies bedtime bottles and checked the temperature nicely and played with the children. Husbands main Criticism is that there was no chicken available and he was looking forward to peri peri chicken! We will be going back. We may opt for slightly later in the year to guarantee the weather as if it had been cold and windy (like our first day) it would have spoilt it. More
