Casa Mitchell flaunts homely accommodation and a handy setting. It’s nestled among gardens, too, so it’s really private.
Casa Mitchell is a tiny, family-run hotel, set in a converted old townhouse in Albufeira. The atmospheric old town is just a ten-minute walk away, and sandy Fisherman’s Beach is roughly the same distance.
One-bedroom apartments and studios are spread over the property, and some overlook the gardens, which are full of blooms. They’ve got lots of character, thanks to homely rugs and pastel blue wooden furnishings.

small and comfortable
Ideally situated just a short stroll from Old Town and Marina.A warning tho the streets are cobbled and not for the infirm. No need to take a book their supply is enough to keep you going. We didnt cook only made drinks. There is a microwave and 2 burner hob.We had 2 apartments both overlooked pool.We booked trips at Tourist Shopnin town much cheaper than with the rep.The pick up point was at Kyms Bar which was just round corner.More

Great Place To Stay.
These Apartments are really cosy. They have everything you need for your self catering holiday. We had studio number 63, it was facing the pool,a very quiet position. The location of Casa Mitchell is great for the beach which is only minutes away. Also it was only a few minutes walk to the old town. There is a supermarket about a five minute walk which has everything you would need. The apartment was very clean with really friendly and informative staff. If we were to go again we would not hesitate to book Casa Mitchell again.More
Lovely place to stay with excellent staff.
This place is in an ideal spot to walk to the old town but is in a quiet area. The pool and sun terrace are lovely with free sun beds and parasols. Although we arrived just before midnight the lady on the reception was very helpful. Great value for money place to stay and we would go back there.More
comfortable & convenient to everything
we had room 54,which we called the cave, cos it was on the basement floor, weird setout, but nothing wrong with it,very clean & level with the pool.very convenient to everything, old town, bars & restaurants, nice chilled holiday in a beautiful location.More
Useless for self catering very noisy
The apartment was spacious. ( no. 64) but ground floor onto street. Noisy pick ups early morning. Bar right opposite noisy all day and evening. Bedroom is at back but constant noise can be annoying especially on holiday when you want to chill out. The kitchen was just dreadful. Not even the basics provided. A small frying pan with 95% of the non stick scratched off. No saucepans, just an ancient aluminium stew pot. One knife with a damaged blade. A microwave with a broken turntable. A very old fridge with broken light and doors which did not shut hence we lost all our food one day. The tap was broken. Our complaint met with a shrug of the shoulders. Bathroom spacious but rusty bath. A loo brush that gallon's of bleach could not rescue ( yuk). Old towels, not a hook in the place or anyway to dry clothes. No line or rack on balcony. So ironing board and iron pointless a decent frying pan would have been better. Furnishings are OK. But bed is rock hard. Towels rarely changed. Old, thin and grey. Cleaner complained she was very tired as it was end of season, it showed. These could be such lovely apartments but some people need to cater due to medical needs, you pay for a s/c apartment that's what you should get. Nowhere near the standard of other 3* apartments we have stayed in. We have done up to 4 holidays to Europe a year over past 30+ years so have plenty to compare with. Such a shame such nice apartments are so badly neglected. Please casa Mitchell sort those kitchens out.More
