The pool here is a nice size so you'll be able to have a relaxing swim. Sunbeds are dotted on the surrounding sun terrace so you can enjoy a lazy day by the pool. There's even a bar so you can stay refreshed without having to leave the pool area.

A lovely hotel and it is being refurbished in November 15. The staff were very nice, helpful and cheerful. We were upgraded to a junior suite so many thanks for that.
Food was okay but I was disappointed when asking the chef for strawberries for breakfast and he said no. The wine was my only complaint. I felt it was expensive. For the cheap house wine it was 12.50 euros for a bottle. An average bottle of wine was 15 euros. This added up for the holiday. The wine in the Algarve is quite cheap so even if the hotel have to make a profit it should be slightly cheaper.
The entertainment was the usual average type but far too many quizzes and games.
There wasn't much to do around the area so if you haven't a car then there are regular buses. Also the hotel own their own shuttle at a fee. However they do free transport to the beach. The hotel spa is lovely and have an indoor pool.
Overall a nice hotel and lovely holiday.More

Beautiful hotel, in beautiful surroundings.
Stayed 22 October for a week.
We travelled as a party of six although all three couples booked separately. Two couples were in the quieter end of the hotel but we were probably in the noisiest room in the hotel, right above the pool entrance to the Show Bar. It must be dreadful in high season. We also booked a twin room and were very disappointed to find that the 'twin' beds were not only zipped together but were also dressed as a double bed. We are not 'complainers' and decided to put up with this imposition. Nevertheless, we found it annoying.
Apart from this, we have no complaints about the hotel, it's position or the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. The outside pool and gardens are beautiful. The restaurant did shut off seating areas as guests departed but the food was only diminished in quantity not in quality or range. It did seem a bit strange to find areas that had been full of dishes to be covered by cloths but the whole buffet area was to feed a full hotel! There was more than sufficient, excellent food with plenty of choice right to the end of our stay.
The entertainment is a bit outdate unfortunately and not many people used the Show Bar whilst we were there. The resident singer was lovely and tried hard but clubs like this went out of fashion years ago.
The choice was the noisy (and please get rid of those dreadful lights) Show Bar or the small lounge with the TV blaring footbalI.
It would have been nice to have had an area to sit peacefully with a drink after the meal. The foyer area was too cool and too impersonal for cosy, after dinner conversation. As it was the six of us retired to our rooms early. Of course, in the summer we would have chosen to sit outside and probably would have increased the takings at the bar.
However, I don't want to sound too negative. We had a lovely time, the staff were incredibly helpful and solicitous to our needs, the food and wine choices were excellent and although the hotel does need work, all areas were scrupulously clean. The maid's towel animals were great.
I would recommend the hotel to friends, and maybe even return in warmer months.More

Golden Wedding Celebrations
I am writing on behalf of my Aunt and Uncle.
A fantastic hotel with lovely caring staff. Nothing was too much trouble, so much so, that we were invited to a barbeque that had been arranged in our honour to celebrate our Golden wedding. We were also upgraded to the bridal suite! A wonderful experience and holiday.More
