The Hotel Falesia’s good-looking gardens set the scene for a terrace-framed pool and al fresco dining area. A 20-minute walk brings you to sandy beach, and some of Portugal’s best golf courses are nearby.
This hotel does things in style, with a smart restaurant and a spa offering a range of treatments. Upgrade room options include junior suites stocked with little extras like bathrobes and slippers.

I definitely want to come back next year
Hotel falésia, was such an amazing experience. I stayed for a week and it was one of the best weeks of my life, they hotel staff are super friendly, they knew we so well, every breakfast without fail they would always get me a tall glass of apple juice without me asking and that was such a special touch to my breakfasts every morning. They was a variety of lovely food, there's something for everyone to eat. The facilities are great, most of it is free apart from certain facilities. There was entertainment every night and it never disappointed me. Hotel falésia thank you for everything. You get 5 starts from me. BIG SHOUT OUT to Vanda, Daniel and Tania and Maria, they were the best staff at Falésia Hotel, also Chef Angelo, such a lovely man, these people really took care of me, I love them and will miss them dearly. Pretty good but not the best
We had two weeks of perfect weather in a very good Thomson Gold hotel.Apparently it is rated number 1 by guests who complete the obligatory questionnaire so it feels a little perverse of me to point out ten things that could be improved with little effort. 1.We asked for a pool view but were allocate a room above the front entrance where coaches and taxis come and go all day and night and the sun never shines on the balcony. When booking in the Thomson shop we were not aware of the room positioning.2,3&4.The evening games that take up a significant part of the entertainment- Secret Sounds,Gold Rush and Test of Time are just a waste of time.5.The entertainment team of Harry Meggan and Jack were enthusiastic energetic and caring but lacking in the talent required to entertain and effectively sustain a lasting rapport with their audience.6.I have a coeliac condition with a gluten free dietary requirement about which I was given assurance before and on arrival but unlike other gold hotels there was little indication of gluten free content and the only sweet I could enjoy was ice cream and fruit.Good for my waist line.7.The food was generally good with a varied choice but on some occasions was sub standard.8.The TV and wide screen providing sports coverage (including international football) was intermittent and dysfunctional.9.Sadly there is a smug complacency among the reps one of whom had a major screaming row with a guest which was singularly unpleasant and irrational. 10.The day time activities offer little in the way of entertainment and can be best described as loud and intrusive.Over all there is so much to enjoy and the things we did not enjoy were mostly trivial which should make it fairly easy to overcome and improve.More
Adult only Thomson Gold
Five star is not enough for this holiday hotel . We decided to try another hotel the Corona Playa (Thomson Gold) with is excellent but the Falesia is by far superior. The only thing we missed is the breeze and easy long walks along the sea front. Food is fresh ,large variation cooked to order vegetarian will be well pleased and you can even squeeze you own oranges. There is plenty of space in or out in the morning for breakfast. Service is quick friendly they go the extra service. The head Chef joins in on theme nights . Bedroom spotlessly cleaned every day our room had a shower you can get a view over and he pool area if required. Entertainment every night by the Thomson team or guest singers there are quizzes with prizes and the bar staff keep you topped up . Every thing about this private Hotel from the Mangers to staff is top dollar sorry euro. Staff take part in pool entertainment there is a quiet area over the bridge pass the pool bar to a grass covered area that runs around the Hotel (see picture) Recommend More
