Anne W,

Everything amazing

Just returned from a 4 day break with my 17 yr old daughter. We were 4 hours early for check in but our room was ready. We were offered Buck's Fizz and fruit at reception on arrival. The hotel, pool and gardens are beautifully kept. Our junior suite had 2 large TVs and huge comfy beds. The food was lovely especially the theme night food. The breakfast was delicious which we ate in the pretty garden area. Sangria flowed at the pool bbq where all the staff and chefs were very entertaining. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The pool is large and never crowded. Lovely poolside bar. The Gold entertainment team, Josh, Amy and Harry are brilliant, they work very hard all day, they offer Aqua aerobics and pool or garden games. They are happy to circulate and chat but are never pushy. Their Motown show was very good, they are talented singers and performers, you can just watch or get up and have a dance. They are full of fun and energy and are a joy to watch. The resident duo Panache are excellent, they offer high quality entertainment, singing well known songs, it was lovely listening to them perform at the Saturday poolside bbq. They are a lovely couple.More

Mrs M.

Just back from 14 nights stay at falesia it was our first time here but sadly would not be returning although rooms were clean and refurbished the bed was very uncomfortable and squeaked at every movement, also pillows very lumpy. Standard of cleaning in room was not great . in all time we were there balcony was not cleaned at all, also floor in room needed more attention, food was okay could be hotter but on the whole a good variety, staff were slow at taking drinks order and too eager to take plates away while we were still eating.. The linen on tables was very threadbare could do with replacing as could towels found holes in most of them, to be honest I would not rate this hotel as four star definitely not gold either also while we were there the outdoor pool was only cleaned the once and even then when the area round pool was being hosed it was brushed into the pool, entertainment was not up to much!!!More

Karen M,

Simply relaxing!!

This was a fantastic holiday from the moment we landed at Faro! The taxi transfer was very quick and although we arrived at 9:45 am, our room was already prepared for us. By 11am we were down by the pool!! Super efficiency the whole holiday. Reception staff were always available and very friendly. Our room was very comfortable - do like the walk-in shower. We had requested a view of the pool and were not disappointed. The pool itself was large and not cold. Plenty of sunbeds, but we preferred to sit in the gardens just down from the pool, using the natural shade from the trees if needs be. So quiet and relaxing!! The food choices were varied and well prepared. Chef Antonio was regularly in the dining hall serving up some of his own creations. There was always plenty to choose from. While we were away it was my partner's birthday and without us saying anything we were left a bottle of bubbly in our room and also had a glass served to us at our evening meal. Such a lovely and thoughtful touch. The evening entertainment was always fun and the resident duo Panache are really great. The Thomson reps -Abbey and Jo - and entertainment staff - Josh, Harry and Amy - work tirelessly to make sure you are looked after and having a great time. Thank you to manager Carlos and all the staff (loved the towel animals Oliana created for us) who ensured we had a wonderful and relaxing holiday. Must go again.More

4* by name 4* by nature

Wow. Pictures don't do it justice. Cheap prices in bar and restaurant. Outdoor and indoor pool is amazing. Rooms are top notch and views from balcony is stunning. Rooms were cleaned daily and staff were helpful. Not sure about the restaurant manager who tended to be sarcastic when asking questions. Maybe that was his banter. Anyway please visit.More
