A tropical garden setting gives the Hotel Falesia a really private feel. It’s also got a big TripAdvisor following, and it was rated the best hotel in Albufeira in 2013.
The Hotel Falesia’s good-looking gardens set the scene for a terrace-framed pool and al fresco dining area. Beyond the gardens is a sandy beach and some of Portugal’s best golf courses.
This hotel does things in style, with a smart restaurant and a spa offering a range of treatments. Upgrade room options include junior suites stocked with little extras like bathrobes and slippers.

The pool here is a nice size so you'll be able to have a relaxing swim. Sunbeds are dotted on the surrounding sun terrace so you can enjoy a lazy day by the pool. There's even a bar so you can stay refreshed without having to leave the pool area.
Sample the dishes on offer as you take in the view of the gardens. There are occasional themed evenings to keep dinner varied and gentlemen are asked to wear long trousers for evening meals.

double room with pool view
It’s a tastefully decorated room with a feature wall and tiled headboard. There’s a furnished balcony or terrace letting in plenty of light with a pool view. A small table and chairs, a TV with some English channels, tea and coffee facilities on arrival, along with a minibar which can used as a mini-fridge at a charge.

Average hotel with an excellent staff
We chose this hotel because of the very good reviews left here by the users. The best things about this hotel is the staff and the food. The people working there were extremely polite and welcoming. The food was also good and did not lack variety. The absolutely worst thing about this hotel is the internet connection. If you plan to do some work related email stuff, do not stay there. Perhaps the speed is ok for sending emails, but the unreliability of the network might hinder sending any. Accessing webpages was too slow, so I upgraded to premium. That was not better. There is a long walk till beach, but the location is ok to access most of the must sees in the area within 1,30 hours max.More

an ideal relaxing break away with a bit of luxury
excellent service from all staff and the restaurant food was very varied. fresh and plentiful. The tropical garden setting was lovely. The shuttle bus provided was an added bonus for the beach and the couple of trips to local areas, worth using.More

Overall, this hotel is nice enough. The clientele is of the older generation which makes for a quiet and peaceful break. This would not be my usual choice of holiday but happened to suit me on this occasion. The rooms are clean and bright. The breakfast buffet was very good, the dinner was just ok. Not really to my taste but i only ate there one evening. The grounds are beautiful and really well kept. Location, again, is good for a quiet holiday. The restaurants in the area are good from what I tried and all excellent value. I found the bar in the hotel to be much more expensive. Only thing i would recommend if you need a decent hair dryer, bring your own. The one is the bathroom is certainly not for anyone with long hair. You'd be there all day!More

Yet another perfect holiday at this wonderful hotel!, all the staff are very professional and make your stay with them excellent in every way. They make you feel very welcome and should you like us return they make you feel like family rather than old friends. The whole experience is totally relaxing, perfect in every way!!More

An adult only hotel in a peaceful position with a 15/20 minute walk to the beach (or use the Hotel shuttle which is free). We had a lovely warm welcome and were upgraded to a junior suite (a big thank you) the room was very comfortable, clean and lovely views from the balcony. There are no coffee/tea making facilities which would have been nice and you have to pay per day for the safe and fridge if required, we would of preferred to have had that included in the price when booking rather than fiddle about when you are there, saying that we paid very little to stay on a bed and breakfast basis it was really excellent value and the breakfast was really good, plenty of choice with dried figs, dates, fruit, cooked etc. They offer a shuttle service to Albuferia and Vilamoura for a small fee and other tours as this a Thomsons Gold Hotel even though we booked via the internet. If you enjoy walking you can walk to Vilamoura along the beautiful Falesia beach and it takes about one and a half hours. We didn't have an evening meal at the Hotel as we prefer to go out and eat and found 'O Antonio' not far away, read our review. There was a happy hour and entertainment on some evenings. We would return, good hotel if you like it peaceful.More
