Hotel Falesia

A tropical garden setting gives the Hotel Falesia a really private feel. It’s also got a big TripAdvisor following, and it was rated the best hotel in Albufeira in 2013.

The Hotel Falesia’s good-looking gardens set the scene for a terrace-framed pool and al fresco dining areas. Beyond the gardens is a sandy beach and some of Portugal’s best golf courses.

This hotel does things in style, with a smart restaurant and a spa offering caviar treatments. Luxury room options include junior suites stocked with little extras like bathrobes and slippers.

Holiday at the Falesia Hotel

We have just returned from an excellent 2 weeks holiday. We must say that this was a very memorable experience. the reception we received on arrival was exceptional. The pool area was very well kept and very clean. The dining room was superb and the food quality and choice was again excellent. For once I cannot find a down side for this holiday. Every one of the staff couldn't do enough for us. We normally would choose a 5 star hotel and I think this comes very close. To add to this the evening entertainment was equal to very good show standard.More

Lovely hotel

Just returned from this hotel and had a really good time in spite of the weather. This hotel does not look out to the sea which we would normally prefer but the gardens are truly beautiful. Yes the rooms are dated and dark but a coat of paint and take down the awful wrought iron partition and the very heavy curtains and it would be lovely because the beds and pillows were the best we have ever had But a shower curtain a no no it sticks to you would defiantly replace with a screen. The room we had was massive and very quite and was on the first floor which meant no waiting for lifts and easy reach to the lovely indoor spa with one of the biggest pools. The outside pool area was lovely but the pool freezing. Now for the food, the breakfast was excellent but evening meal was same ish every night with mostly stews and pasta and lots of frozen veg.The staff were lovely in all areas with the exception of the bar manager who was not happy to change the TV channels or when asked to turn the sound up stormed in and put it on full blast and stormed out.(clients not aloud to touch TV ).In spite of the bad weather we had a good time and yes we did do the 220 steps to the most beautiful beach but only once. We had lunch and drinks in the local cafes so cheap !! and good quality. Would we return to this hotel ?? No because we really like a sea view but that is the only reason, so thank you every one for a lovely weeks holiday, and I forgot the professional comedians were excellent.More

Great relaxing holiday with superb food

Booked this hotel after reading reviews and we were not disappointed. Hotel staff are very friendly and cant do enough to make sure you enjoy your holiday. Rooms are a bit dated but very clean & spacious, bed very comfortable, decent free wifi Food is excellent plenty of choice and very well presented, congratulations to Angelo the head chef for providing such excellent food, my husband said it was best breakfast he had ever had in a hotel! Beach is about 20 min walk through neighbouring hotel but is a lovely walk and the cliffs are spectacular, there is a free courtesy bus to beach if you dont want to walk We used the hotel bus at a small charge to Albufeira & Vilamoura which were both well worth a visit Shops, bars & bank within easy walking distance, have to recommend Hugo's Tapas where we had lunch most days will definitely stay at this hotel if we visit this area again and recommend it to friends & familyMore

Not shines gold, dull

Generally a very good hotel but certain areas could improve The rooms need refurbishing, we had a junior suite which was very clean but sparsely furnished The only extra to pay for was the fridge which I did object to as I needed to keep insulin in IT Staff were all very friendly and welcoming The only real down side was the food which was not good quality and virtually the same every night Needs to more varied and more modern Frozen veg are unacceptable these days The Thomson team were ok but lacking in enthusiasm, especially Garth, possible due to being end of season We will return next summer thoughMore
