The popular Hotel Waterfront stands right on Sliema's seafront, offering spectacular harbour views of Valletta.
Sliema’s bustling harbour is on the doorstep of the Hotel Waterfront. Ferries into Valletta leave from a nearby dock, plus coast-hugging buses stop right by the hotel.
As its name suggests, the Hotel Waterfront stands on the coast in Sliema, offering great views over the harbour from the lobby bar. What's more, this place is getting a complete overhaul for June 2017.

Loved our visit...love the hotel
My husband and I would like to thank you all at the Waterfront Hotel for an amazing and special visit. It was our 6th visit to the hotel and We were getting married on the island. We visited 26th June till the 10th July and although the hotel wasnt quite finished we did have an amazing 2 weeks. Thank you so much for the little treats we had on the first day to welcome us to the hotel. And then also on our Wedding night the room looked so special with the rose petals and swan towels. The hotel looks amazing much more like a 4* hotel now. The food was lovely and the staff were great. So helpful and friendly. We can't wait for our next visit. Thank you xxxMore
I'm not comming back
Staff in hotel are very kind and helpful. Breakfast should be better for 4 stars hotel (only one choice of tea). I was in room 616 and I could heard workers who renovates hotel - they start at 7am. There wasn't any advance notice about ongoing renovation. I also heard guests from from neighboring rooms pretty well. The room wasn't clean as it should be and plaster from the walls was on the carpet.More
Not fit for guests .. yet
Fortunately I only stayed for a few nights. This hotel has recently reopened after renovation. And was far from ready to accommodate guests. No swimming pool ... and there is not going to be an outdoor pool .. only an indoor as far as I understand. Bathroom get totally flooded when having a shower. Staff not surprised when you ask for extra towels to soak up the water. Fire alarm did not seem to be ready still with plastic cover on .. is that even legal? The room and bathoom nice and big .. but cheaply furnished and unfortunately with a carpet in the room. Door to balcony could not be locked. And door to hallway very difficult to close. Breakfast ok but nothing special. Poor Alex in the reception did his best and tried to smile despite complaints from guests non-stop.More
Amazing!!!! Should be a 5 star hotel!
Arrived in Malta 3 days ago, originally my agent booked me at the Plaza regency hotel which ruined my arrival! Never been more upset in my life, however when i started searching nearby hotels i saw the waterfront and rang the hotel immediatley, spoke to a very nice young man called Alex who was extremely helpful and booked me in straight away with the most amazing view of the sea, the hotel is amazing, beautifully refurbished and yes although works are still going on (Alex did notify me of this before i booked) but it was during the hours i was out. The food was wonderful and the hotel room is still very well priced. I honestly was so pleased that my holiday was no longer ruined and i could enjoy my stay, and felt so safe and comfortable at this hotel. Luxurious, wonderful staff, peaceful nights sleep and amazing view, made my Malta trip a great experience ! More
Do not stay here
I have stayed at the Waterfront before and thought it was dated. They went through a refurb and since it is close to my office I thought I would give it another try. I paid €125 a night and for this I got a shower which everytime i used it flooded the carpet and bathroom. I arrived late and there was no water in the room and the mini bar was empty. In a country where you cannot drink the tap water this is very poor. There was a water boiler but no coffee or tea. I mentioned to the front desk and they provided me with a bottle of water and a €5 bill. The other issues were not resolved nor was I offered another room. Worst hotel experience in recent years.More
