The location is good, near to Sliema pier, where you can get a ferry to Valletta. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. We had a room with a nice view and a decent size, but we were first given 2 twin beds instead of one double bed. They fixed their mistake after our complaint. Breakfast is pretty average and it could be improved a lot.More
We stayed for 10 nights as a couple. The room was perhaps slightly dates, but was spacious, with a great side-sea view of the Sliema harbour and across to Valletta. The bed was very comfortable, and the bathroom and shower all worked exactly as you'd expect. There was a TV with a few English channels (always would like more, but didn't come away to watch TV!) and a small fridge which, to be fair, didn't get very cold. You needed to leave wine or beer in there for a few hours before there any coolness. The public areas of the hotel are very elegant and well maintained, with a comfortable bar area which is air-conditioned. We only ate breakfast in the restaurant, but this was well cooked, with sufficient variety that neither I nor my vegetarian wife were ever bored with the offering. If I were to visit Sliema again, I'd definitely consider staying at the Waterfront again.More
Wish I could give it 5 stars
This hotel has wonderful, but sadly faded, kitschy charm. The staff were all warm and friendly, the location was great, and the view from my window was beautiful. I worried a bit when I saw that earplugs were one of the provided toiletries, but they proved unneeded. If refurbished, I would seriously consider staying there for all my San Francisco business trips. The ferry is so convenient. The only true negative I can offer is that the room service offerings were mediocre, at best. All in all, a pretty good stay.More

We stayed here for 2 week's in July as we were getting married in Valletta. And when I see the views from the front we were sold.we will go back in a couple of years they are changing the roof pool and the open space on the corner above the main entrance. The only thing we found was the lift you had no choice but to use it but apart from that every thing else was great all the staff you can ask them anything so I would recommend this hotel to everyone go on book it More
