Hotel Manila  

Location-wise, Hotel Manila couldn't be in a better spot. It sits in the centre of the Lido Di Jesolo seafront. The entire ten mile stretch of sandy beach is at your fingertips – and the hotel even has its own section sprinkled with sunloungers and parasols. But the beach isn't all Hotel Manila has going for it. It's also just a stone's throw from Mazzini Piazza which is packed with shops and restaurants. You'll find everything from shoe shops and themed bars to traditional Italian eateries here. But what's really exciting about this place is that Venice is just a short boat ride away. In less than an hour you could be sitting in St Mark's square sipping coffee and admiring the Basilica.

It's not all about the setting though. The hotel itself has got plenty to shout about. For starters there's the sea-facing terrace - there's no need to venture on to the sand when you can see the shore from your sunbed. The swimming pool overlooks the ocean, too. So no matter where you choose to spend your time, you can feast your eyes on the glittering sea view.

Speaking of feasts, the restaurant here's pretty good as well. The wood beam ceiling and whitewashed walls give it a contemporary feel. And with everything from fruit and cereal to speciality breads and yoghurt on the breakfast buffet menu, you can start the day in style.
