With its reputation for being the one of the best hotels in Lido Di Jesolo, this place could easily be big-headed. But it's not. The Hotel Ambasciatori Palace is about as down to earth as you can get. For starters, the welcoming team make you feel right at home from check in to check out. Then there's the fact that it's so laid-back. It's not overly glamorous and it doesn't aspire to be. But if you're looking for a relaxed spot in the sun, the Ambasciatori Palace is right on the money.
As for the pool, it's small but perfectly formed. Sunk into a roomy terrace with plenty of sun beds and a poolside bar, sunshine is served with a side order or sea views here. Plus if you fancy swapping the sun terrace for the sand, you've not got far to walk. The hotel's private section of Lido Di Jesolo's beach is just beyond the swimming pool.
The location's pretty impressive, too. Sitting on the seafront, right by the bustling Piazza Mazzini, everything is within easy walking distance. And as it's just across the water from Venice, a day trip to the floating city is only a boat ride away.
Inside, it's stylishly simple with traditional wood furnishings and tiled floors accented by sofas, beds and linens in soft shades of grey, blue and white. It's muted, modest and effortlessly elegant.
