An introduction to Villaggio Planetarium
The Villaggio Planetarium is a holiday village and a half. With each building being named after one of the planets, these nine four-storey blocks house spacious, well-equipped apartments, while waterslides, pool and yawning sun terraces compete for prime spot in the pool scene. And it's the pool scene that really makes the Villaggio Planetarium stand out. Think swimming pool with whirlpool bath, water games for kids and a winding waterslide that should keep the little ones, if not you, occupied for quite some time. Walkways weave between the water to parasoled sun loungers and fanning palms. And you'll also find a snack bar and small restaurant here, too.
Inside, apartments are spacious and family friendly. Decked out in modern furniture, they're functional, neat and come with a range of extras. Think private balcony. Plus you'll have satellite TV and your own kitchen with a hob and fridge. Decor is modern and fuss free with tiled floors.
Location-wise, the Villaggio Planetarium is just a free shuttle-bus ride away from the long pale sands of Bibione's beach. Bibione town centre is about a ten minute walk and there are plenty of shops just outside the Villaggio, too – less than a minute's walk away. There's also a restaurant within the complex itself that offers a buffet breakfast and dinner plus snacks and drinks during the day.
All in all, it's a great, fun-filled family getaway. Kids, aged 3 to 9 and 10 to 16, can join in the activities in the kids' clubs. And there's evening entertainment for the whole family too.
