Villa Miranda

A winding 'white' road leads you to Villa Miranda, with so many twists and turns that you wonder if you are indeed on the right track. As you turn the last corner, the converted farmhouse comes into view and you know that you have found a real bolt-hole where the only sounds will be from the wildlife that inhabits the wooded hills which cover the valley.

Villa Miranda has been carefully restored by the charming owners with no detail left to chance, from the authentic wooden ceiling beams to the original terracotta floors and imported claw-foot bath tubs.

The villa is entered either through the well-equipped kitchen or, as is typical with such venerable farmhouses, up an external stone staircase to the master bedroom. As well as the kitchen, the ground floor features a dining room, lounge with fireplace and, on a raised level, one of the double bedrooms with adjacent shower room. On the first floor there is the original sitting room which now serves as a landing with a mezzanine level for storage, the master double bedroom and a twin bedroom both of which have en suite bathrooms featuring claw-foot baths with shower attachments.

A swimming pool to the side of the villa enables adults to relax on the terrace while being able to keep one eye on the children in the pool and the other on the superb view which unfolds magnificently below.
