Comprising four apartments, the accommodation is designed primarily with couples in mind, so Benny envisages this to be a place for unperturbed rest and relaxation, hence the name, Re Artu Medita. The result is every bit as impressive as their existing property. One most welcome enhancement that Benny incorporated into Re Artu Medita is the provision of air-conditioning in all apartments, a bonus which peak-season guests in particular will appreciate.

The other thoughtful touches familiar to guests at Re Artu are also present - satellite TV, portable radio-CD-cassette players and pretty open-plan kitchenettes.

For Simply Italy guests we have reserved three of the four one-bedroom apartments (the owner is retaining one for her own use), each of which has its own terrace or garden area, equipped for outdoor dining. Attractively furnished and decorated in subtle pastel shades, each has its own colour scheme and feels more like a home than a holiday apartment. 'Virgilio' and 'Ovidio' are split-level, with a living room on the upper floor benefiting from huge picture windows to make the most of the panoramic views, and a double bedroom and shower room on the lower floor. The other apartment 'Catullo', is arranged all on ground level but offers the same accommodation, as well as direct access to the garden.
