The owners have restored their two-storey farmhouse with all manner of modern day conveniences such as satellite TV in the apartments with traditional touches very much in evidence. Thankfully, the work carried out has been wholly sympathetic to the building's fabric and traditional Tuscan touches are very much in evidence.
Cosy Violaceus is a compact ground-floor studio which extends outside into a large covered terrace looking out over the pool and rolling, wooded countryside beyond. The two bedroom Gilvus has its own garden area accessed through French doors from the living area.

Aromatic bushes of rosemary and lavender fill the air with their lovely fragrance, and fruit and olive trees have been planted for future generations to enjoy. During the months of July and August, the owners live in their own house detached from the apartments.
The lovely pool set below the apartments is an ideal spot to savour the delightfully green countryside around Casanuova and a quite superb view of the medieval towers of San Gimignano. They are within feasible walking distance (3km) and keen ramblers will also appreciate the location of the farmhouse in excellent walking country.
