The Hotel Villa Pitiana was originally a monastery built in the 13th century, becoming a villa in the 18th century and then more recently converted into a hotel. You will find the Villa's grand past reflected in the fine public rooms on the ground floor.
The magnificent rural setting ensures that you will experience peace and tranquility with, if you wish, nothing more to do than stroll round the little courtyard and go on to admire the small rococo chapel. For something a little more challenging, if you are a lover of Italian cuisine and wine, cookery courses and wine-tasting sessions can be arranged at the Villa Pitiana, considered to be among the best 100 restaurants in Italy and one of the first in Tuscany.
