The attractive building is set back from the coast road with impressive views of the picturesque bay of Mazzaro, particularly from the swimming pool which enjoys a secluded position on the roof.
Transport is provided to and from a nearby beach of coarse sand where sunbeds and parasols are available free of charge. The restaurant has a good reputation and the weekly gala buffet dinners are a popular feature. Bedrooms are well appointed and all have a balcony with side views of the bay.

We stayed at the Ipanema Hotel in Taormina Mare from the 4th-11th May 2008.The hotel is well situated just a few hundred yards from the Cable Car up into Taormina(3.5 Euro Return). However at this end of the season it stopped running at 8.00pm, which... more on this review
