La Pietraia

Located in an elevated setting, approximately 400 metres from Porto Rafael's sleepy piazzetta and just a few metres more from the beach, La Pietraia is a simple but charming holiday base for a couple. Although situated on the lower floor of a large, privately owned villa, this bijou studio offers an excellent degree of privacy and its terrace affords magnificent views of the sea and the islands of La Maddalena. At night, the lights of Maddalena town and of Palau are reflected on the silvery sea, creating a romantic panorama as you relax with a night-cap on your terrace.

With their curved, whitewashed walls, the pretty interiors are typically Sardinian in style and although the layout is completely open-plan, there are clearly defined areas for sleeping, relaxing and cooking. A low, rounded wall separates the double-bedded sleeping area from the cosy sitting area, and a very basic kitchenette is situated away from the main living space. A shower room completes the accommodation. Couples looking for accommodation in a prestigious setting will be charmed by the traditional character and beguiling views of this compact property.
