The Hotel Plaza has an enviable address, in a quiet side street a few steps from Sorrento’s main square, Piazza Tasso. There are countless trattorias and gelaterias in the winding streets that surround the hotel, and Sorrento’s bus and train stations are a 10-minute walk away, so daytrips to Naples and the Amalfi Coast are easy.
The hotel’s interiors team sleek, contemporary design with eco-friendly touches like natural hemp insulation and thermal windows. Rooms feature minimalist white walls, oversized headboards and quirky modern furniture. Some have small balconies, too.
Breakfast is a buffet spread in the Plaza Restaurant, and includes freshly baked pastries and a juicing station piled high with fresh fruit and vegetables.
