This hotel was recommended and lived up to expectations. From the time we arrived we were treated to an excellent level of service. The staff right through from cleaning, poolside, bars, restaurant and reception made you feel special - many remembering our names which gave it a really personal touch - especially as we were single travellers.
The room was well equipped and even though there wasn't much privacy on the balcony it wasn't an issue. We had no problem with sunbeds and invariably spent the days by the pool where there was a nice breeze. We also went to the beach which is less than 5 mins away. Sometimes we would swimin the sea and just walk back. But there are lots of bars along the beach so its a lovely walk. The sea was crystal clear and warm.
Back to the hotel - we were half board but fully intended to use the discount and have lunch then go into the town for evening meals. Two things...lunch menu isn't varied and not much choice. Due to a mobility issue we couldn't get out of the hotel for a few days so had to eat in the restaurant at night. And I'm so glad we did. The food was amazing. So much so that we stayed finest at the hotel and ate most evenings. There was plenty of choice and it was always hot and freshly prepared. The salmon en croute was so good I made a note of which day it was on the menu to make sure I had it the following week. But....they don't do a repeat each week. So although disappointed not to savour it again, it was exceptional that they varied the menus - much better than the usual repetitiveness.
Breakfast was also great with a choice of freshly prepared omlettes and crêpes. Also champagne on offer so a nice bucks fizz on my birthday started the day well.
The hotel is well placed for the town and there's plenty to do. Some bars are a bit loud but there's plenty to chose from. Walk to the beach or the local shop for an ice cream....its 8 euro in the hotel whcih is more then their cocktails. There was a large party which arrived..I think with it being a popular wedding destination that might happen. They didn't bother us but it was noticeably louder when they were in the bar or restaurant. It just makes you appreciate the more relaxed atmosphere although there was always something going on in the evenings and plenty of people. I loved the greek night and enjoyed the dancing. Request a demonstration from antonis the maitre de.....he'll show you how its done.
Special mention to eva, Lucia and makis in the restaurant and avaguita at the pool. All staff are brilliant but these stood out. And an extra special thank you to the matre de...antonis. So professional, polite and kind.
We did a trip to cameo island and the shipwreck. Planned them independently and would recommend. Also a must is a visit to the olive tree restaurant......its through the town and is amazing.More

Excellent Hotel, friendly staff, great holiday
Stayed last 2 weeks of September. From the moment we arrived to the day we left, we were treated extremely well by all staff. Throughout the fortnight we stayed, the room was very clean and well maintained (thank you Ellie). Only stayed B&B but fantastic food every morning to set us up for the day. Restaurant staff brilliant and helped me to develop my limited knowledge of the Greek language (Efharisto!!). Pool areas clean and well maintained. Sunbeds comfortable and plenty of them. Beach not too far away and nice gentle stroll into the busier nightlife. A couple of nice taverna's close to the hotel for an alternative choice of lunch. A great place to stay and will definitely return.More

Summer Hols 2015
We had a fabulous time here in Sept this year. The welcome was warm and friendly by all parties (Reception staff, Porters and the Bar man). We had to wait a little while until our room was ready but we used this time to explore the hotel and its grounds. Loved the little chapel, was beautiful. There was lots of room in the two pools and there were plenty of sunbeds (don't know why people still had to reserve them). The gardens were lovely well tended to and kept very clean and tidy it was a pleasure walking round them. We were shown to our room which was really nice & clean and having the toiletries, slippers was another nice touch. Room could have done with a little more drawer space but other than that more than catered for our needs. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was spacious (liked the double sinks) and the balcony was nice to sit out on from time to time. The Concierge and Reception staff were very helpful when on the 2nd day of my hols I had a dental trauma. I was advised which Medical center to go to in Tsilivi; within 2.5 hours I was back at the hotel everything sorted out. Food was very nice good choice, hot and fresh and well organised approach during all eating times. Tsilivi center was a 10 min walk away had lots of choice for bars, places to eat, shops and tour organisers. We used Nefis travel 3 times; great service received on all of the occasions. The beach was a two minute walk away which was so convenient; with bars and places to get drinks and snacks from. We would welcome a second visit to this resort and to this hotel loved it.More
