Thanks to stylish, contemporary décor and a top-of-the-range spa, this is Zante’s leading 5-star hotel.
This place is a leading light in Zante’s luxury scene. It’s an ultra-stylish retreat, with a pair of huge pools and a choice of elegant dining spots. And the classical style spa takes care of pampering.
It’s a minute’s stroll through the olive groves to the soft-sand beach. And it’s a 15-minute walk into the heart of Tsilivi, where you’ll find a big choice of shops, bars and tavernas.
Enjoy the many spa treatments on offer, such as massage and body wraps. You can choose to relax in the heated indoor pool and whirlpool bath, or wind down in the sauna and steam room. Whether it's a special occasion or you'd just like to treat yourself, visit the hairdresser and choose from a range of services.
This place is open for breakfast and dinner. It offers up Greek and international specialities. You can decide if you'd like to sit indoors or outside overlooking the pool. Dinner is part of the Half Board option. There's a dress code here, men are asked to wear long trousers at dinner.
We stayed at the Lesante Luxury Hotel & Spa mid August for a week for a family holiday with 9 people in the total party meaning we had to have 4 rooms. We had requested rooms together but knew this was not guaranteed, however when we arrived and were shown to our rooms we were all no more than 2 doors apart from the next which was fantastic! On that note, it was very nice to be shown around the hotel on arrival and shown the main features of the hotel by the receptionist and shown to our rooms (all too often in hotels you are left to find your own room!) and our luggage was also taken care of for us! Unfortunately, during my stay I had an accident on the hotel premises which resulted in me needing medical assistance. The staff were incredibly helpful during this time, provided ice straight away and provided assistance when the accident first happened without us having to ask for help and then got me a doctor to the hotel as soon as possible. All of the staff were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and approachable at the hotel. Unfortunately there were a few staff members at the hotel who were not as approachable and helpful but these were very much in the minority. I have to give special praise to Elena on reception, she was absolutely fantastic throughout the stay and couldn't do enough to help us! Even the cleaners were friendly and helpful and ensured to say good morning or afternoon and always asked how I was getting on! We were on a bed and breakfast basis so didn't eat in the hotel very often as it was very pricey. We did however attend the Greek night which had a fantastic selection of food however it was not made clear that drinks were not included in this fixed price. The breakfast selection of food was fantastic with many options and the area where you got your food from was kept clean at all times. The pool facilities at the hotel were fantastic and the pool never felt crowded despite it being peak season. We also found it very useful being able to get towels at the pool bar for each day meaning we had clean towels for the pool daily rather than using our sandy beach towels! We also used the indoor pool on one occasion and this was lovely and relaxing. It was also very convineient having the small Alex supermarket just over the road from the hotel so we never had to go far to get our bottles of water etc. The hotel is not near the best beaches but taxis were not too expensive to travel to get to the nicer beaches. Overall we had a great holiday and the hotel suited our needs perfectly, it's just a shame it's not in a better location! But we are already looking into booking again for 2016!More

Would happily return.
Two week stay in July for 27th wedding anniversary. Lots have been said already in the reviews so I will keep it short. All the staff are fantastic. Service would beat any luxury hotel worldwide. We would love to go back. Thanks to Eva in the restaurant who could easily show UK hotels, pubs and restaurants what excellent service should be.More

Relaxing Family Holiday
We stayed here as a family (foursome) in two adjoining rooms in August. The rooms were large, the air con was quiet but the wardrobes were slightly annoying, as the sliding doors only allowed access to one space at a time. Wifi was intermittent at best and the TV channel selection (just for international news) was pretty dire but I guess that can't be helped. There's a little fridge in each room filled with drinks but we didn't use any due to the high cost: shame they don't allow guests to keep their own drinks in the fridge and don't even provide free bottled water. The bathroom was large and clean but the low shower pressure was very disappointing in both rooms. After nearly 30 years since our last visit to a Greek island, we'd also forgotten that you can't flush loo paper down the toilet and have to use the bin... but when in Greece...
In our first week there was a large number of spare sun beds after breakfast and there was no wretched territory-grabbing by the early towel mob. However, at the start of our second week a large number of Brits turned up and the towel brigade were out in force before 8am, even if some people didn't actually turn up to use them until nearly 4pm (genuine case). Needless to say, it was depressing behaviour that we wished the hotel would stamp on but they never did.
The breakfast buffet was great but we only ate at the evening buffet once: it was mostly good British fare (potato soup, roast beef etc) but we really didn't want that on holiday. It was also very expensive (30E if you weren't half board) and for literally half the price you could eat authentic local food in the local village of Tsilivi. Drinks were also expensive in the hotel (especially when a bottle of wine or litre of sangria at the local tavernas typically cost 10E) but they have a captive audience and when you want a cold drink, you want one now!
We booked a few trips from Mamfredas Tours in Tsilivi: 17E per person to go on an island coach tour with a pick up very close to the hotel (all day, very good value and well worth doing), as well as enjoying an afternoon of snorkelling on a boat trip and turtle watching near the marine reserve (also 17E per person and worth doing). We also went on Captain Spiros Lavente Speedboat trip to the shipwreck beach but at 40E per person it was somewhat over-priced (trips in morning or afternoon) and you will get soaked from the sea spray, even if you don't go snorkelling or swimming!
We heard some guests remark it was the best hotel on the island and it may well be true. The staff were friendly (especially Gerry at the pool bar) and we would probably stay here again if we went back to Zante. It's not 5 star though...More

Definitely not a 5 star
On the whole it was a pleasant stay but at 5 star prices it certainly did not deliver 5 star quality.
Pool - quite large and seemed to be able to cater for the larger crowds in August.
Breakfast - offering was large and varied and of good quality.
Pool beds - wet every morning from sprinklers. Why wouldn't staff remove the cushions at the end of each day??
Lunch - limited options and pricey. Chips tasted like they were microwaved.
Dinner - we only ate in the restaurant once. Neptune restaurant nice but overpriced.
Gym - all equipment either broken or in need of repair. Told not to use cross trainer by spa staff and then 'repair man' came in with Manager and sprayed WD40 on it and said it was fixed. It was not.
WiFi - slow or not working at all. 'Business centre' computers also had no access to WiFi. Complained about this on several occasions and heard other guests complain as well. Excuse given that "there is a problem on the island" yet other venues on the island that we attended had no issues.
Staff - towel went missing on first day near pool bar. Spoke to pool bar staff about it, who directed me to reception. Reception staff then referred me back to pool bar. No effort made to contact laundry, ask for a description of item or follow up made. Told "it might still show up". Pathetic.
Queried tours to Kefalonia and all tours were booked up. Concierge told he would find an option for us and would let us know. We had to follow up after hearing nothing.
Requested a blackberry charger and was asked for room number, that they would check store room. Again no follow up.
I've stayed in several 5 star hotels and staff do not just ignore guest requests, which is what happened here.
Rooms - often not serviced until 4pm, no complimentary water.
Upon checkout we requested to speak to the Manager to seek compensation citing above issues. After paying 300 euros per night felt we had been misled based on the claims made on their website of the facility and inclusions. The Manager wasn't around and we were dealt with by another supervisor...when we brought up the gym issue her response "how can I possibly know what is wrong with the gym if you don't tell me about it...I sit up here and not responsible for downstairs (where gym is located)". That summed up our experience entirely and further reinforces why this hotel cannot claim to be a 5 star. Oh, and we got a measly 50 euro discount as compensation.
Will not be back.More

Lovely quiet hotel
This was a lovely hotel... As it wasn't all inclusive it appeared to attract a better class of people... Yes, the drinks and food was slightly more expensive but there was lots of options around in the town... Yes, there was no kids club.. But in my mind you go on holiday to spend time with your kids... And there was minimal entertainment in the evening.. But the food was fab, the hotel was immaculate, as was the service...the pools were of ample size as the hotel never appeared to be majorly overcrowded... Pancakes and omlettes made for you for breakfast... The nearby beach was lovely...More
