Thanks to stylish, contemporary décor and a top-of-the-range spa, this is Zante’s leading 5-star hotel.
This place is a leading light in Zante’s luxury scene. It’s an ultra-stylish retreat, with a pair of huge pools and a choice of elegant dining spots. And the classical style spa takes care of pampering.
It’s a minute’s stroll through the olive groves to the soft-sand beach. And it’s a 15-minute walk into the heart of Tsilivi, where you’ll find a big choice of shops, bars and tavernas.
Enjoy the many spa treatments on offer, such as massage and body wraps. You can choose to relax in the heated indoor pool and whirlpool bath, or wind down in the sauna and steam room. Whether it's a special occasion or you'd just like to treat yourself, visit the hairdresser and choose from a range of services.
This place is open for breakfast and dinner. It offers up Greek and international specialities. You can decide if you'd like to sit indoors or outside overlooking the pool. Dinner is part of the Half Board option. There's a dress code here, men are asked to wear long trousers at dinner.
We had the pleasure of staying at the Lesante for 10 nights in September. No complaints about the place. It is great value for money and there is a nice personal touch that you get in the way you are treated by the staff. I have had better quality breakfasts, and it was often very crowded at that time, but this was a minor issue. Having stayed at lots of hotels that are much more expensive, I found the place on a par with most. It is also within walking distance of the beach and town centre so is very well placed. Don't listen to the whingers, you should not be disappointed if you stay hereMore

Relaxing up market hotel
My husband and I have just returned from our holiday in Zante and stayed at the Lesante Hotel for 11 nights.
This hotel is extremely good. The rooms are modern and cleaned to a very high standard. We stayed half board and the food was varied and excellent. A very special thank you to Eva and Makis who work in the Ambrosia restaurant, so polite and attentive.
In the evenings we enjoyed pre-dinner drinks as well as drinks after dinner by the pool. A special thank you to Evaggelia, "everywhere, everyday, all the time", who works tirelessly to ensure that all the guests are looked after.
A special thank you to all the staff who made our holiday special.
The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the a lovely beach, again the staff on the beach bar,"Baraccuda", are very polite and hard working. You have to pay 3 euros for a sunbed, but compared to many places this is very reasonable.
The town of Tsivili was quiet this time of year, but caters for all tastes. We found a lovely taverna, "39" near the beach and ate there 3 times, the food was very good.
We would most definitely recommend this hotel and the surrounding area, however it would be a good idea to hire a car, as we did, to explore the island.More

A FANTASTIC PLACE TO SEE WALES BEAT ENGLAND IN THE RUGBY WORLD CUP
We stayed here during the world cup when Wales beat England 28 - 25.
Let me start by saying that the hotel was outstanding.
Its very clean and the staff are extremely attentive. The pools are excellent and the grounds are very well tended. It deserves its 5 star rating.
The hotel is just a few minutes taxi ride from the airport, but by bus it could take as much as 28 mins or as low as 25, but the taxi fare was included in the holiday cost.
The position of the hotel is wonderful. It sits along a fairly quiet road thats around 80M from the beach.
There weren't any major roads that we used, but a series of small , bendy, country roads, which made the quiet and getaway feel of the holiday even better.
On arrival your cases are whisked away and are given a complementary glass of champagne, which is a nice little touch.
The hotel foyer is lovely and open and leads onto the outside bar area and pool.
The outside temperature when we visited was as low as 25c but reached a more pleasant 28c very early on in the day.
The rooms are very boutique, with lovely decor and modern fixtures and fittings. There is a TV, but only has 2 English channels, both News.
There is a DVD player, so it might be worth bringing a few of your own, if you want a chilled evening in. There is a selection of films to choose from the main reception.
Food at the hotel was excellent, the breakfast buffet was plentiful and always a good array of things to choose from.
You can have lunch at the poolside bar, which was lovely the couple of times we ate there, but possibly the best culinary experience we had was eating at the beach side restaurant ` paradisos`, at the bottom of the road leading to the beach, right next to the water.
The fish and sardine dishes were delicious and the view fantastic.
A great lunch, with wine , for two can be as low as 25 Euro, but not as much as 28.
We stayed on a B&B basis, and i think this is a good choice, as there are an array of great restaurants to choose from in the main town of Tsilivi.
The taxi fare from the hotel is 6Euro, and worth it, as its a 500M walk, not too far but if youre dressed for the night, its not too much to pay.
Its very difficult to find a bad restaurant in the town, as we ate in a different place every night and always had a great experience. Special mention must be to the `Olive tree` restaurant, which is the oldest restaurant in the town, and is always has a buzz of people there. The steaks were fantastic, as were the fish dishes.
The boomerang beach side restaurant was also great, but a bit further along the main road of Tsilivi.
Bars are also plentiful and the staff are always attentive. They are also polite and in no way pushy for your custom.
Special mention must be for the `Planet bar`, where the barmen and staff are fun, attentive and absolutely crazy. They take care of their customers and never leave anyone out, we watched the Wales v England world cup game here and were very knowledgeable of the game, and even Stavros, the glass collector, knew that Robshaw should have taken the 3 points.
Anyway, the lads there will remember you as they are genuinely happy to see you arrive and sad when you leave....... This was borne out when we returned for the Wales v Fiji game, where the only contingent of supporters were welsh, the guys had
learnt some Welsh phrases and remembered our names and made a general fuss of us.
Overall, our stay was relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable.
The hotel is truly the best in the area and we really chilled out. There were no queues for anything and the terrible ` fight for sunbeds` in other hotels certainly does not exist here. The staff do not give an expectation of tips, although they do deserve them if you offer, and they are openly grateful when you do.
I thoroughly recommend Lesante to anyone, but it would mainly suit couples as there is not an awful lot for young children to do, but thats why you would choose this hotel over a larger hotel with poolside and evening entertainment, as its what we wanted from this holiday. A relaxing, enjoyable, fun and beatuful setting in which to see Wales beat England at Twickenham.More

Zante Hotel - Amazing
this beautiful hotel was such a find this summer. We went with another family so 8 in total children aged 13-18. Hotel suited us all. Staff were absolutely amazing, first class, friendly, professional and a delight to share your holiday with. The hotel facilities were 5* as was the food every evening. We usually eat out during our holidays but every night the food was delicious and such a variety we didn't need to. Staff gave us great ideas of trips to take and places to visit, couldn't have been more accommodating. Close to the beach so you could mix up your day and plenty of sun beds! Spa was also lovely.More

I guess they don't know what a five star hotel is
The Lesante hotel is a nice hotel after all, but it is far behind anything that has a five star rating.
The service seems ok. The staff in the restaurant were great. The pool staff not so much. But when we encountered a problem it was hard to get satisfying answers.
Just as an example, we were there with a baby. On the first night, the baby crib was laid but with no baby mattress. The guy that came to see was extremely nice and tried to help out but said that as the maids had already left, they do not know where the mattress is. I was actually under the impression that there was no mattress but the next day they fixed it. This is just odd. I mean, how come someone laid it inappropriately? It was, after all, laid by the maid. And how come they couldn't fix it and find the mattress at night? So in real time and after the fact, we didn't really get a good answer as to why the heck this had happened and wasn't fixed on the spot.
The rooms are simple and in fair size. The closet is a bit small. It was tight with the baby crib and baby stuff but for two adults the room is sufficient.
The towels were disappointing. For a hotel and spa with five stars you would expect them to have soft towels. The towels were instead hard as sand paper. My wife wore the bathrobe and immediately removed it never to be used again.
So the hotel is ok. Too expensive for what they give and in no way at a five star level. More
