We stayed at St Dennis apartments June 2015. Can I just say how fantastic this place is.
We choose st dennis as we were getting married in tsilivi and wanted something small and personal with all the family. Wow what a great place, the bar serves great food, the rooms are spotless and the ladies that come in are so friendly. The beach is a 5 min walk with restaurants and bars all around, but you would never know as it's so peaceful
We would definitely be back. Thank you again st Dennis for a cracking stay x

Excellent apartments ideally situated.
Appreciate everyone's view of ideal is different but i'll try to give an honest view from our experience.
This was our second year year in Tsilivi and the location of St Denis is far better than where we were last time (Planos near water park). Centrally located two minutes from the beach and in the middle of town. The airport was around 20 minutes away, although we were the last pick up on the return.
The two bedroom apartment was ideal and at the usual standard you would expect in Greece. We didn't use the self catering facilities as there are too many nice restaurants to try ! The air con is ESSENTIAL but costs extra - it is very good though and worth every penny, all doors have to be shut for Air Con to work (as expected) but this means you cant sit out balcony and have the air con on without disturbing someone inside to let you back again. The safety deposit box was also an additional charge. My wife was delighted to find the mirror had the light ABOVE it rather than at the other side of the room. Rooms were cleaned every day expect Sunday and was kept spotless along with change of bed linen and towels.
The pool area was very good. Sunbeds were being reserved from around 7:30-8:30, there always seemed enough to go round but people had their favorite spots. The food around teh pool was very good in particular the english breakfast - we tried Sunset Bvld for breakfast as it had very good ratings but it was no where near as good as the one a St Denis (the orange juice wasn't great though!). Beer around the pool comes in the usual iced glass which is essential personally, I avoided the Planet Bar for this very reason (warm beer not for me). The pool itself was ok but probably the one area that could do with a bit of maintenance, the steps for example. The guys who ran the bar and pool area work tirelessly and nothing is too much trouble. Thursday night is BBQ Greek night although we didn't attend.
WiFi - if anyone goes abroad to Greece expecting 4G/Fibre speeds you will be very disappointed. Some of the bars were better than others but the St Denis was very poor but that is what you would expect. The more people connected and downloading from YouTube the slower it is for everyone. The range wasn't great either, ok round the pool if you were lucky but no chance from the room. If WiFi is a critical factor in choosing a hotel then this one isn't for you but I would like to know one that it is usable.
Restaurants are all in close proximity, our favorites were Benikos (hosts were outstanding), Halfway House and Sweet Revenge. Avoid the Dionysis Taverna this one wasn't so good. There is a fantastic cake and coffee shop about 10 minutes walk away called Royal Patisserie.
Most bars show live football, Breeze Bar had the best beer but the football stream kept freezing which got a little annoying. If you dont mind warm beer try the Planet bar. Two Brothers is very entertaining on an evening, good for cocktails and the host is a little mad - the music though is VERY repetitive so you may want bear this in mind unless you like Grease, YMCA, Amarillo etc...etc....
Water park is a 20 minutes walk away and half price after 14:00, you get free snack but don't expect too much. Not the biggest waterpark but ok for a few hours.
Trips are far cheaper from one of the many shops you will see rather than book through Thomsons.
In summary would we return - yes, it was very good relatively speaking against others Greek accommodation. Don't let some of the other negative reviews put you off especially when a specific incident has reflected badly and tainted the whole review unfairly.More

Great time - as standard at St. Denis
We stayed at the apartments again after choosing St. Denis for the third time and honest we, as a family still cannot fault anything. The owner and assistant always make us feel welcome and Giannis and Fotis are simply brilliant. They were tirelessly for the residents of the apartments and are both so funny. The room's all have good views considering the close proximity to the beach (a 2 minute walk down the road). I would recommend St. Denis to anybody. Wonderful.More

Just returned from two weeks staying at St Dennis Apartments - couldn't have asked for better holiday; ideal family location. Apartments and whole pool/bar area spotlessly cleaned daily, extremely friendly staff - particularly bar staff Giannis ("oh my god!") and Fotis who work their butts off from dawn til dusk and go out of their way to make sure you have a fantastic time. And all just two minutes away from the beach! Didn't have a bad meal the whole time but would particularly recommend Piero's, La Meze and Freddie's Beach Bar. Local water park, 20 mins up main road, worth the walk for few hours if you have kids.More

Apartments are OK but modest. We stayed in A8, a 2 bedroom apartment. It had a kitchen, bathroom and 1 bedroom with a double bed which had a small TV, and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, no TV. The bedroom with single beds accessed the balcony, which I thought odd as if children wanted to go to bed early it was difficult to use the balcony without disturbing them. The balcony was a good size, with a table and chairs. We should have had a pool view, but this was obstructed by the foliage of a large tree. The kitchen had a full size cooker and fridge freezer. Rooms were cleaned every day and hygiene was very good.
Beds were rock hard. I suffer from chronic back problems, so they were actually perfect for me, but less so for my wife and daughter.
Pool area is nice, but I didn't like the pool itself. With most pools abroad the level of the water is level with the ground making it very easy for children to get in and out of. Here the water was about a foot and a half below the level of the ground. Frustratingly all sunbeds were reserved by around 7.30 am. Many of these remained empty for hours, some all day. I spoke to the rep, Luke, about this and he said there was nothing that he could do about it, as he had spoken to the owners about it previously, but they would not enforce the rule, even though there are signs in place. This must cost the owners a great deal in lost revenue, as many families went to other pools. We used Tom and Johns, an excellent spot.
The location of St. Denis Apartments is excellent, about 10 minutes to the beach, and close to some great restaurants. Some reviews have mentioned noise from the Planet bar going on all night. We couldn't hear anything from our bedrooms, but when using the bathroom in the early hours the noise was very loud. This, of course, was not a problem for us, but could indicate that there may be noise issues depending on which way your room faced.
Air con is â¬10 per night and the safe is â¬15 per week. Fans are also available at a cost.
No iron or hairdryer in room.
All staff were very friendly, especially the young lady who worked in the shop, which also serves as a reception.
The WI-FI connection is unreliable, and if you can get connected it is a very poor speed.
A little about Tsilivi. All of the restaurants were fantastic. Some stand out ones were Family Restaurant (try the feta in filo starter), Romios, the Trenta Nove is a great place to eat with a lovely garden and the Balcony Restaurant has a stunning view at sunset. Meals are generally around the same price, we paid around â¬45 for two adults and one child. Most restaurants serve house wine at around â¬7.50 for 1 litre, with red, white and rose available. We drank white which was quite good.
The is a regular bus service to Zante town for â¬1.80. There are official bus stops, but it seems the will stop anywhere, so be prepared to wait a little. That being said the return bus from the bus station left on time. The bus station is about a 10 minute walk from the town. If you go into town a visit to St. Denis Church is worthwhile, it's one of the most stunning churches I have seen outside of Rome.
Tsilivi Waterpark is about a 30 minute walk an is a nice little place to visit. Not a lot of slides there, but the ones that are are all good. No long queues either. After 2.30 pm it's half price â¬9 for adults and â¬7 for under 12's. Park closes at 6 pm, so this is plenty of time. Plenty of free sunbeds and umbrellas.
Tsilivi is a fantastic holiday destination, this was our second visit, and will not be our last.
Would we go back to St. Denis Apartments? Probably not. The situation with sunbeds, the poor WI-FI and OK rooms, did not justify the price. Also put off by the potential of getting an apartment that was noisy through the night.
The price was a little over £3K as a package for three of us self catering. Not over the top, but having had a look at other apartments, it is clear you can get a lot better at the same price. More
