The Ionis Art mixes style and location. You’ve got the strip on the doorstep and the beach two minutes’ walk away, while the hotel lines up art-filled interiors and themed bedrooms.
This place is right on Laganas’ strip, so you’ve got bars and clubs just steps away. The beach is only two minutes’ stroll away, too. And in a nod to the name, the hotel’s crammed with Greek and modern art.
Stylish bedrooms are done up in different themes, with extras like leopard-print linens and Chinese mirrors. They have iPod docks for in-room music, plus soundproofed windows so everything’s nice and peaceful.

Me and a group of friends stayed at this hotel for one week from 2nd June. All the staff was friendly. The pool area was kept clean and they played music around the pool. The pool bar was open till late as well which was nice. The food was good and not to expensive. Rooms was cleaned every day. The security at night were very friendly. The hotel is in a great position with it being on the strip but the doors to the balacany were sound proof so once those doors were closed you couldn't hear anything from outside the hotel. The rooms are basic with regards of decor, but you do get a flatscreen but not many channels and a iPod doc which you don't get in most hotels.More
Lovely hotel, but very noisy
The hotel was lovely. Had a nice pool area, plenty of restuarants and fast food places and right on the strip. Spot on if you're looking for a party holiday. Not the best places if you are wanting a chilled holiday as it is very noisy until 5am in the morning most days so u only get a couple of hours sleep if you want to get up in time for breakfast. The reps Ryan and Laura ignored us the whole holiday as we were there as a couple, so they assumed we didnt want to go on any of the party nights or excursions. Turns out they probably did us a favour as everything is cheaper to book yourself rather than through the reps anyway. All the bar staff and hotel stall were lovely, especially Patrick and Katherina! Would definitely recommend this hotel.More

Wouldn't stay anywhere else!
My friend and I stayed here for a week in June (22nd-29th). We had rubbish flight times but the warm welcome made it worth it! All the staff are helpful especially the security guards. Food served at the bar was reasonable as were the drinks. Pool was always clean and tidy with plenty sunbeds. Maids cleaned our room daily with fresh towels and bedding. Location of the hotel was perfect as it was right on the strip and the doors were sound proof so didn't hear much when we went to sleep. If you can, go to the hotel BBQ! Its 25 euros for all you can eat and drink and they just take it off your security deposit so its like you aren't paying at all. All in all best hotel I've stayed in in a while!More

I stayed at this particular hotel in 2007 with a group of my friends and had such a great experience that I decided to return on my honeymoon this summer. We traveled through Thompson travel agency as they are the most reputable in the industry. We arrived on June 9th and stayed for a full week in room 208. First, we were a bit surprised by the check-in. In 2007, when I first arrived I was initially taken to my room after a short welcoming speech from the receptionist. This year however, we were slightly dissapointed when the reps took us from the bus and asked us to leave our luggage outside in order to give us our welcoming meeting. We found the meeting to be more of a sales pitch, and given we were tired from traveling and we were on our honeymoon, we would have prefered to settle in prior to the meeting. Regardless, our stay at the hotel was just as I had previously experienced. The staff was accomodating, friendly and there to help us with our every need. Particularly, we found the receptionists, Athina and Katerina extremely helpful. We decided to take their advice and attend the barbeque / "Greek Night" at the hotel and were not dissapointed. Not only did my team win the quiz, but the food and drinks were delicious. Particularly we enjoyed the souvlaki and drank far too many "sex on the beaches". Graham was a great trivia host and we even learned some greek dancing, which my wife particularly enjoyed. We chose to relax by the pool in the mornings and were greeted by Nikos, the bartender, who was both very generous in his drink pouring and played nice music. We spent our afternoons at the beach and enjoyed the exciting nightlife in the evenings. Upon our return from a night out, we dropped in on the "Pizza and Chicken House" in front of the hotel for a late night bite of food and had some friendly chats with Antonis and Nikos, the hotel security guards. Not only were they very outgoing personalities, but always made us feel safe in and around the hotel. While in Zante, I recommend everyone visit the shipwreck, which is a beatiful boatride and picturesque scene. Apart from the shipwreck, we rented a boat and visited the turtle island in Laganas Bay and saw a few turtle nests. We wanted to give a big thank you to the hotel management for the surprise bottle of champagne and flowers once they learned it was our honeymoon. All in all we had a fantiastic time on the island and an incredible stay at Ionis Art Hotel. We will surely be back next year for our 1 year anniversary!!!More
Nice place to stay
Me and my girlfriend stayed here between the 14th and 21st of June and had a lovely time. The staff were very polite and helpful and when they found out i'm half Greek they became very intrigued especially a little girl called Golden who had a piano recital the day we left, hope it went ok ;) The hotel is only a few minutes walk from the Laganas beach which is a lovely walk no matter what time of day, and if you're feeling up to it you can even walk to Kalamaki from there ;) If you're a party animal then this is an ideal hotel for you as you're on the party strip so as soon as you walk out the hotel you have a plethora of bars to get smashed in, or if you're a bit tired then you can hang out by the pool bar and have a few drinks there and even a nice chat with the staff there, who are very helpful if you need to know anything about the island.More
