The Ionis Art mixes style and location. You’ve got the strip on the doorstep and the beach two minutes’ walk away, while the hotel lines up art-filled interiors and themed bedrooms.
This place is right on Laganas’ strip, so you’ve got bars and clubs just steps away. The beach is only two minutes’ stroll away, too. And in a nod to the name, the hotel’s crammed with Greek and modern art.
Stylish bedrooms are done up in different themes, with extras like leopard-print linens and Chinese mirrors. They have iPod docks for in-room music, plus soundproofed windows so everything’s nice and peaceful.

We stayed at the Ionis Art Hotel from Tuesday 7th of July to the 14th of July. Our room overlooked the swimming pool and was kept spotlessly clean by the maids who came everyday and cleaned it. Breakfast was Continental (cold dishes) as described in Thomsonâs brochure, but if anyone wish an English breakfast they could order it at the snack bar, pay few Euros for it and enjoy real English sausage and bacon. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly, always with a smile!!! At night the security made sure that the place was kept safe and quiet, we felt very safe there. Christina at the snack bar is half English and half Greek and she studies in a University in the UK and we enjoyed chatting with her. When we asked reception for a nice place to visit they pointed out to us the shipwreck and Bohali just on top of the town. The shipwreck is just as beautiful as the photos show, and the water was so nice light blue, what a scenery. As for Bohali the site was gorgeous overlooking the capital of the island, we enjoyed few drinks and took some nice photos. We didnât see all the island around as we had some late nights of partying and drinking in Laganas, with loads of bars and clubs. In general our holiday was very enjoyable and we are coming back for sure and we would like the same room of Japan style with the red cushions above the beds. Just a big thanks to all the staff for a truly lovely holiday!!More

Nicos and Adonis
The bouncers in the hotel are lads! People who say they are too strict on here are incorrect. People on tour had a class stay and though that Nicos and Adonis were lads! The hotel was very nice and room 215 is a pent house.More

Great location, rubbish hotel!
I stayed at this hotel for a week from 19th June with a friend on a girls holiday! Its in a great location and the pool area is nice and the reps are lovely but there about the only good things about this hotel! When we checked in the evil little patronising women on reception gave us a long speech of do's and dont's to make us feel like we was about 10 years old on a school trip! You have to leave 30 euro deposit which you definitely won't get back because if you don't break/damage anything then they will just make out you have anyway! Then we went to our room which was room 98-the worst room in the whole hotel! The first room on the first floor right next to the reception/lift/stairs/toilets so it was so noisy and if we hadn't have been so drunk we passed out we wouldn't of got any sleep! And it was tiny!!! We went to other rooms thoughout our stay and every one was twice the size of ours and the 'bathroom' had the smallest shower ive ever seen that didn't work properly and no bath! And I don't think the maid understood that she had to actually clean the rooms, and not just move things about so it looked like she'd tidied up!! She mopped our floor, changed our bedding and towels ONCE in the whole week! Even after going to the beach and paint party she still didn't think to change the towels just hang them over the balcony??!! And when she did change our bedding I think she just swapped it from another room because it wasn't clean it was covered in hair!!! I LOVED Zante and would go back but definitely NOT to this hotel!More

Boys on tour
Came to this hotel for a rugby tour with 20 boys, we were greeted with a very friendly reception. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean, rooms were cleaned everyday to pristine condition. The owners and workers are very friendly and give help when ever required, breakfast was continental (cold plate) but a full English can be received when asked at the bar. The prices on drinks were alright and also had a good variety, around the pool there is wifi at a fair price and on Thursdays there's a BBQ which is â¬25 euro but it's hell of a spread. The hotel is in prime location on the strip but there's no noise in the room from the strip when sleeping. If I went again I'd 100% stay there again!!More
