The Ionis Art mixes style and location. You’ve got the strip on the doorstep and the beach 2 minutes’ walk away, while the hotel lines up art-filled interiors and themed bedrooms.
This place is right on Laganas’ strip, so you’ve got bars and clubs just steps away. The beach is only 2 minutes’ stroll away, too. And in a nod to the name, the hotel’s crammed with Greek and modern art.
Stylish bedrooms are done up in different themes, with extras like leopard-print linens and Chinese mirrors. They have iPod docks for in-room music, plus soundproofed windows so everything’s nice and peaceful.
The hotel was very clean and a nice place to stay. It sits right on the strip and you wouldnt believe a hotel of that star is located where it is. My friend and I (early twenties) went for a week mid Sept, when arriving the hotel was strict and treated us like children, we were told off every night for having a conversation when walking to our room; which yes there is other people but its advertised as a twenties hotel, after a drink everyone gets giggly!! The hotel had very strict rules and charged for washing of bed sheets if paint ect got them, considering the reps persuaded you to go to paint parties its a little unfair. I would recommend this hotel even though it does have strict rules, just be-careful not get on your last warning else you could end up without a hotel. The bar staff were lovely and you get a maid everyday. Some people have commented about smoking that it wasn't aloud on the balcony, we asked at the reception and the lady was happy to provide us with a ashtray as long as smoking was kept on the balcony and not in the room, which is fair enough. We over looked the strip which was noisy but as soon as the doors were shut you couldnt hear much at all. If you are going on holiday to go out clubbing then the noise has stopped by the time you get in. If you are going as a couple and not wanting to go out all the time i would ask for a pool view room so you dont hear the noise from the strip.More

Very clean hotel
The hotel was very clean with fantastic staff, very close to the beach and all the nightlife. Restaurants within walking distance so the hotel is in a great location. Found the owner and all staff very helpful and would stop again.More

Went here for my honeymoon in September the hotel is beautiful to look at however I did find having to hand the keys in each and every time u left the hotel rather annoying. Pool and bar area were perfect for the two of us to relax and was perfect distance from the beach.
When first arriving at the hotel we were made to sign papers to say the rooms weren't damaged surely that is their job? Why do the guests have to do this? And the price for air con safe and TV control 70 euros is scandalous, on top of the 30 euro deposit per person.
One positive from the hotel on our last night we had a knock at the door with the receptionist giving us a card a rose and a bottle of red wine thanking us for choosing to stay with them. More

average hotel, crap resort
Well I really cant understand why this hotel has such good reviews. From the beginning you are made nervous by having to list all damage to the rooms, and there is alot to list. I get the feeling things arnt maintained to catch unlucky people out when they break on them. Also the corners of the bed are like razor blades, the lovley 5 inch cut on my leg is testament to this.
You get charged for wifi, safes and aircon. The safe is in your room, so why a charge?. The beds are uncomfortable, you get one pillow and the sheets and mattress are disgusting as are the floors.
You also have to pay 30 euro PER PERSON to bring people into the hotel.
Me and my mate have returned with some kind of flu, the worst I have ever experienced. He has been told he is 1 day away from pnumonia. And we were not the only ones. I wonder if its the cleanliness of the hotel or resort?.
One thing I have realised on this holiday is how disliked english people are by the rest of europe. Adonis the security guy seemed sound enough, and he had some wild stories to tell. But there seemed to be a menacing undertone. I noticed he would be harsh with smaller groups of people mainly english. For example on our last night a group of polish or slovinians were singing loudly about 1 at night, the lads with there d**ks hanging out....right outside reception....the security did nothing. The night before he was getting pissed in Sin City, then back on duty 2 hours later lol.
Basically if you want to go somewhere to get pissed on vodka that the bars buy for £1 a litre, do nothing but drink cos theres nothing else to do, get endlessy hassled by bar pr's, get attitude from arrogent eastern europeans, be treated like children in the hotel when you arrive, drink untill you cannot control yourself ( girls please be carefull, you are a target out there i helped a girl help her mate home, she had been raped 2 nights before), and return with some greek flu, go to Laganas, if not go sumwhere else.
I stayed in this hotel for a week in Mid September once the main season had started to die down. There was my girlfriend and I and a group of 8 other people. Very friendly staff, very well spoken English and the Reps did their job very well, always taking an interest in their guests. Lots of activities and excursions which the reps are more than happy to help you out with. The food at the bar was very nice and quick service. The bartender was a good laugh and a nice guy. Would recommend this Hotel. Very close to the Beach and right on the Strip.More
