The Ionis Art mixes style and location. You’ve got the strip on the doorstep and the beach two minutes’ walk away, while the hotel lines up art-filled interiors and themed bedrooms.
This place is right on Laganas’ strip, so you’ve got bars and clubs just steps away. The beach is only two minutes’ stroll away, too. And in a nod to the name, the hotel’s crammed with Greek and modern art.
Stylish bedrooms are done up in different themes, with extras like leopard-print linens and Chinese mirrors. They have iPod docks for in-room music, plus soundproofed windows so everything’s nice and peaceful.

Best hotel on the Strip
Perfect for your summer partying holiday, middle of the strip close to everything you could need, easy 2 minute if that walk to the beach, cheap food places everywhere, bars/clubs literally next door. Amazing time! Clean hotel, strict no outside company/places food rules by the pool, pool is a decent size. Shower/bath is ok, cleaners everyday! Air con is so good but deposit when you get there, which you do get back, definitely purchase the air con fridge deal! Leave your room key at reception every time you go out so you don't loose it and you can purchase the use of a safe. Security were friendly every night, had no problems with them. From what I heard and had seen of other hotels this definitely seemed like the best on the strip! Reps do try to get you to buy a package as soon as you get there but don't! Have a look around first and see what events you want to go to! Paint party was amazing! Tsunami was amazing! Full Moon was amazing! Champagne party was crazy for like 2 minutes the rest was average! Make friends! Also visit Chevy's when you have a hangover! More
Very safe, yet in the middle of the strip - perfect
All in all the hotel itself is very good. It felt extremely safe which is just what we wanted as it was just the two of us girls on holiday. It was right in the strip though surrounded by nightlife, so it was the best of both worlds! The room was spacious enough and the bathroom was clean and had a big mirror. I was pleasantly surprised by the small balcony in our room overlooking the strip. Perfect if you're a smoker. The pool area was great and a real sun-trap so it is perfect for those who lie to lounge around in the day. Location & facilities wise, this place is PERFECT for a girls or boys holiday. Now for the down sides... - Cannot eat or drink around the hotel's pool area unless it was bought in the hotel's bar. Seriously, they tried to stop me from drinking bottled water bought elsewhere! I'd HIGHLY recommend Cherry Bay beach for the day time. You can get a free lounger there as long as you buy something from their bar which, to be honest, is not much of a put-out considering everyone goes to Zante to drink 24 hours a day anyway. - There was a surprise charge for a safe and wifi when we checked in. While it was optional, having internet connection and locked area to store your important things is a no-brainer. It was a shame that it was put at such an astronomical price, especially since the wifi was a little hit and miss.More
amazing hotel, in great location
we stay at ions hotel and it's amazing place, very close to the beach, and all clubs, Katarina who work in reception was amazing , so nice and helpful at all time, the hotel is very clean. and they clean rooms daily, only u have to remember that u need to pay extra for the air-con, fridge and Tv all this will cost u 10euro per day, and u can buy wifi access but DON'T as signal is very bad and u can't do anything so u will waiste your money, the Reps Rees and Steph are great we book a few parties with them and didn't regreat as it was great experience, if u want to go to turntle bay or other things don't book any trips just rent a speedboat and discovery by yourselfe, we paid for 6h (and it was more then enough) 130euros but be carefull as in some places they will charge u extra for petrol withc is 2euros per liter;/ in overall definetly great place. and the I would reccommend the hotel.More
Dýo Ãna Tésseris
We were on a girls holiday just the two of us and the room was just right for that. It was spacious and clean with pretty good amenities. The shower was a bit cramped and the curtain liked to stick to you but overall it was a decent room for our weeks stay. We decided not to pay for the Wi-Fi, AC, fridge or safe and we didn't struggle without these as the time of year we went (September) didn't call for AC and there was free Wi-Fi almost everywhere we went. I left all my money loose in the bedside table and it was untouched the whole week so the safe wasn't essential either! We received our â¬30 deposit back at the end of the week which gave us our last days money so this deposit wasn't really a problem for us. One night during a particularly bad storm our roof started leaking onto one of our beds. This was really the only downside we found with the hotel the whole time and Nikos the security guard helped us out by bringing us a bucket in the middle of the night! :) The next morning we were switched to another room without us even having to ask so they were clearly eager to ensure our stay was as good as possible. Reception staff were pleasant and the Thompson reps were nice enough, but the night time staff, especially Nikos, were our best buds. I got happy every time we returned to the hotel after midnight and got to have a good chat with Nikos :) And he even taught us some Greek: dýo éna tésseris! Overall this was a good hotel and was fine for what we were after which was a comfy bed and a clean pleasant space to get ready in and relax in. It would be great if Wi-Fi was included but I'm told that these things are a lot more expensive in Greece so I can understand asking hotel guests to pay extra towards it. Overall I would recommend Ionis and would stay again! E & DMore
Just had 11 nights in September, such a lovely hotel. Very stylish, clean & well presented. The staff were lovely very helpful & always cheerful. The only drawback was it's position opposite a takeaway that was open till the morning attracting lots of noisy people. This wasn't really a problem as the windows were thankfully double glazed cutting out a lot of the noise. after reading the reviews & being told it was an 18-30 hotel we were dreading staying there , but what a surprise it was nothing like it. The breakfasts were enjoyable apart from being cramped.More
