You'll have some outside space with this twin room as there's a balcony provided for you. These simple, comfortable rooms will provide a great base for your holiday. Just so you know safety deposit boxes* can be requested in resort. These twins sleep 3 people with twin beds and a sofa bed in the bedroom.
Lets just say the best part about this hotel was the people who worked there. Pedro is the man on the bar at night and he deserves to be working in a much more high end hotel.
The rooms are extremely basic, relatively clean however the shower is tiny!!!! its that small when the water is running is goes out of the shower and on to the floor and basic floods the bathroom floor. there is no nice views by the pool only rubbish filled fields and and people on quad bikes driving past every 2 minutes, there is no privacy.
The food was okay, not the best and the pool was tiny.
The location of this hotel is not good, it is an extremely long walk to the beach (not that the beach was any good as it had pretty much no sand) i would say was a 35 minute walk to it. the strip was relatively close about 10 minute walk as well as the restaurants.
I would not recommend this hotel, even if your going for just a week and wanna get pissed i would not recommend whatsoever.More

Over 40 but relived our youth at this hotel!
Look out if you're over 30 - this is a "Scene" hotel which is the Thomson equivalent of 18 - 30's! Actually although very basic, this hotel has a nice little vibe about it. It's no frills, it can get noisy and yes, you are going to get the odd drunken yob but the rooms are ok if it's just somewhere to lay your head it's cheap, cheerful and the manager Takis, his wife, the bar men Alex and Pedro are fantastic people and Zante is simply a beautiful place. We hired a jeep for 40 euros and visited some amazing places - so you can do that if Laganas is not your cup of tea.More
Great Hotel - You Become Part Of The Family!
Just returned from a last minute deal of 11 nights to Zante, stayed at Hotel Laganas which was great.
The staff are the friendliest ever, from Daxis the manager, Alex the bar tender to Petro, the night manager, all take time to get to know you and have plenty of insight in where to to go for good food etc.
The rooms are simple and this is reflected in the price, the beds are very comfortable with nice pillows. The shower is very powerful with no shortage of hot water, even late into the evening.
The rooms are kept immaculately clean, we asked for extra pillows on arrival and they were handed over with a smile.
The food is also to a very high standard, the missus and I normally head out for breakfast but we ate there most days, full English breakfast for around £3.80!
Laganas is a party area but this hotel is 15 minutes away from the madness which is helpful for when you need your zzzz's... It is set in gardens which are very private with a large car park at the front should you rent a car, don't bother with the quads, they are slow, noisy and dangerous, grab an open top jeep, far more fun and a lot faster too.
Granted we stayed out of season, we can imagine it is much noisier in July / August so if you are a couple who does not like the noise, prob best to avoid these months anyway, September is a great time to get away here if you like it a little quieter.
We will definitely return to this hotel, not least because the staff were so helpful, a couple of small issues we identified were dealt with immediately and extremely satisfactorily.
Air Conditioning is available for around £7 per day, don't be put off by this, all hotels charge for this service, we paid £11 per day in Crete last year. Safety deposit boxes are available, they are opposite the reception desk which is manned 24 hours, they are also covered by CCTV. In terms of security, there is a night security guard who looks after the grounds of the hotel, not that we encountered any issues but it's always good to know that someone is keeping an eye on things.
In summary a great base to stay, simple rooms that have everything you need but by far the best feature is the welcoming family environment you enter into when you stay here, we will certainly be coming back! More
Got here on the 8th September and didn't really know what to expect to be honest because their was mixed reviews. I had an absolute blast. Rooms were pretty basic but we didn't need a big room, we rented a fridge which was good I think it was 35 euros for the week. Met bill the rep canny lad, we didn't go to any of the party's or anything and he was still fine with us so I expect its the way you are with him. Owners are really lovely and alex and pedro are so funny and welcoming!!. It is literally 10 minutes away from the aiport, 15 mins walk to the strip and 5 mins walk to the local supermarket. Couple of good restraunts near it too. Some of them do a starter main and unlimited drinks for 15 euros which is good. Would totally return to this hotel, met some lovely people and had an amazing week!! I'd say this hotel was more for the younger generation but could be good for family's too. The weather was so nice for September still really hot. Had a day where it rained and thundered and lightening but that was it, rest of the week was fine. Can get quite noisy the walls are paper thin also a rooster that starts every morning at 5am and it is quite loud. rooms were cleaned daily too.More
