An introduction to Athina Apartments
Bright and modern, the Athina is popular with families and makes a relaxing holiday base. Most of the spacious and airy apartments are situated above a selection of shops and restaurants along the main road from Kalamaki to Laganas, with the studio block slightly further back. Supermarkets and tavernas are within easy walking distance. For a lively night out take a five-minute taxi ride into Laganas.
Kalamaki is the natural continuation of Laganas, but on the whole a far more peaceful resort than its neighbour. The beach at Kalamaki is not only one of the finest on Zante, but some say one of the finest in Greece. The fine golden sand is perfectly accompanied by the crystal clear azure waters, which make this area a huge magnet to many tourists in the summer months.

We stayed for 2 wekks at the Athina Appartments, our accomodation was clean and basic, They were about 15 minutes to the beach, where you could swim with the turtles, the shops and restuarents were 5 minutes away and the best has got to be The Olive... more on this review
