Decisions, decisions. What's it to be? A day sunning yourself on the beach? Or perhaps some time relaxing down by the swimming pool? Well here at the Zakantha Beach you've got the best of both worlds. The hotel is set right on the coast and looks out across glittering blue waters. A stepped pathway leads down from the pool to the beach and so you can literally flit between the two as your mood takes you. The pool area is a really secluded spot, surrounded by palms, shrubs and gently swaying trees. There are plenty of sunbeds to stretch out on and there's also a lawn where you can sunbathe, too. If you want to take a break from the sunshine, head to the pool bar. Covered in overhanging bougainvillea, it's just the place for a bite to eat and something cool and icy. As to the hotel, it's an attractive whitewashed number with ornate filigree-style wrought iron balconies.

The lobby's a picture of cream marble while the bright blue sofas of the interconnecting lounge add a lovely splash of colour. Rooms are simply decorated in light and fresh tones and have private balconies for you to relax on. The Zakanth Beach also delivers location-wise – it's just a short stroll into Argassi where you'll find plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes to choose from. All in all a great little bed and breakfast that's just the ticket if you're after a quiet beach break.
