This place keeps things simple and lets nearby Golden Beach do the talking.
The Anastasia is in a fantastic spot. It’s less than five minutes’ walk from Golden Beach and there’s a land train that goes between Skala Panagia and Skala Potamia. Thassos Town is a 15-minute drive away, as well.
There isn’t a pool here and with some great beachfront tavernas close by you’ve got no real need for a restaurant. For drinks and card games, there’s the garden bar.

Lovely place to stay
The apartments are really well appointed in the quiet centre of the bay with busier Golden Beach to the left and Skala Potamia to the right. Both within easy walking distance. There is a really nice atmosphere at the Anastasia with a friendly, comfortable well stocked bar and where nothing is too much trouble for the owner, Dimitri. The air con is very efficient, which is great in mid summer and we never ran short of hot water. Rooms were cleaned efficiently 6 days a week. The beach is two minutes away and some of the rooms have a sea view. I really don't have anything negative to add and I would highly recommend the Anastasia.More
Excellent hosts - loved the stay
We went in July 2014 - this was our second time at these apartments, last time some 6 years ago. Welcomed like old friends. Dimitri & family work so hard to make your stay the most enjoyable and nothing is too much trouble. Apartments are very clean and the addition of the bar, which is new since we last came, is a great asset. Even residents staying at the new boutique hotel opposite preferred to join us for drinks. The cost of the room safe & air con is very reasonable at 25 euros for 2 weeks for the safe for 2 weeks & 70 euros for the air con for 2 weeks. Toaster kettle hairdryer all supplied. shops & restaurants within easy walking distance & a bus ride to anywhere can be arranged - we chose Panagia, which was 1.60 euro each way per person so doesn't break the bank. Having no pool isn't a problem as the beach is just a few minutes walk away where you can hire 2 sunbeds & umbrella from George, Dimitri's father for just 5 euros per day. The sea is beautiful. Well recommended!More
Quiet, near beach
We stayed at this studios from 29 June for 1 week and having travelled to Skala Potomias for the last 20 years doing over 13 holidays and we found this the least friendly. We arrived with 2 other couples and they were shown straight to there rooms and when the owner came back to us he said our room was not yet ready and he told us to take a seat in the garden for 10 mins, we sat there for about 15 minutes and at no time were we offered a drink or anything bearing in mind we had been travelling and it was a hot day. We never spent any time in the bar or anything because of this, the studio we had was out the back and was lovely and peaceful and the owners always said hello in passing. We are already planning our next visit and will be staying at the Aphrodite studios round the corner for that one.More
A good place to stay
We were also met by Dimitri who took our bags to the room... The room was spotless and we had a toaster..kettle and fridge... There is also a hair dryer... The only problem we had was with the bathroom as we had no window and no extractor fan....We were very impressed with how clean the place was.. They also couldn't do enough for us... There is a small bar area where you can get a breakfast and a toastie at lunch time... Dimitri also makes a lovely coffee... The prices were really reasonable... A glass of wine was 2 euros and a large beer 3 euros... The beach is only a short walk away and you can get a sunbed off George... Dimitris father for 5 euros a day... The beach was lovely and sandy and the sea very clear.... There is a supermarket in walking distance and some very good restaurants.... You can also walk into Skala Potamias and there are lots of places to eat there and also many shops.... There is no chemist here though there is a doctors... There is a small train that leaves Golden Beach at night and goes into Skala Potamias.. It's 4 euros and good fun.. The last train left Skala Potamias at 10.30 when we were there... We had a lovely holiday and would stay again...More
