Sitting to the side of the terracotta and gold-coloured house is an individually designed pool. Sunk into a spacious sun terrace, it's tiled with mosaics and looks out over the sensational scenery. You'll also find elegant wood-slatted sun loungers to stretch out on, as well as an al fresco dining table and built-in barbeque. Step inside the Minoas and you're greeted by a cool oasis. Delightfully traditional in style, but with all the home comforts and mod cons, it's beautifully designed. Throughout the house, the walls have been lovingly hand-pained by Vasso, who's a well-known artist on the island, with ancient scenes from the Minoan period. And along with the typically Greek furnishings, it gives the villa an historical, romantic ambience. You'll find a spacious open-plan living space with a lounge and dining area and a fully-equipped kitchen. There are also two restful bedrooms, a twin and a double, both of which are ensuite. Whichever room you're in here though, the window always looks out over the captivating landscape. So come and escape from it all at this refined retreat.
