Built at the end of a kilometre-long road on a hillside cloaked in pine and olive trees, you couldn’t ask for a more remote location than Villa Kyriaki. And along with its elevated position come fantastic views of the sea, stretching from the villas terrace right towards the horizon.
With this view on its doorstep, the spacious terrace makes the ideal place for day-long relaxation. There’s also a small outdoor pool and a barbecue for al fresco meals.
Step inside from this spot and you’ll find the accommodation equally lovely. In the open-plan kitchen and living area, whitewashed walls and large French windows create a fresh ambience, while a smart black sofa and ruby red cushions provide a stylish splash of colour. Add to that two air-conditioned bedrooms with bold bedspreads and curtains, and you’ve got a laidback property that’s full of homely comforts.
As for the location, Villa Kyriaki is just a short drive from many of the island’s famed beaches. The sandy stretch at Vromolimnos, in particular, is a popular spot with a taverna.

Tucked into a broad bay on the south coast, the beach ticks all those classic happiness boxes. An arc of soft, honey-toned sands that sink under your sun-soaked toes. Crystal-clear shallows kept gentle enough for kids by the two long headlands cradling the bay. All locked under a never-ending blue sky and fringe of emerald-green pines. Add the colourful splash of the watersports plied along the beach, and you’ve got the perfect recipe for reaching the state of soul-warming bliss you came here for. And just in case you feel like releasing that inner wild child while you’re here, the lively next door beach at Vromolimnos, with its hyper-active collection of beach bars and bungee jumping, is right on hand. Of course, there are other things you’ll need from Kolios to make your holiday complete. How about some friendly tavernas so you can try a different menu every day?
