Mitzelos Villa

The pace of life in Skiathos is set to slow. And it's the same at the Mitzelos. Set on a beautiful green hillside in a secluded spot, it's pin-drop peaceful. You're not totally off the beaten track though. Just five miles away is Skiathos Town, so you can easily pop down to the shops, bars and restaurants. With its hilly setting, the views from here are to die for. Sweeping down into a valley and out over the sea, it's like looking at a landscape painting. And whether you go for the villa or the apartment, you get an equally good vantage point. Both have spacious terraces accessorised with sun beds, pretty pot plants and a barbeque. There's a covered veranda with a dining table, too, ideal for laid-back al fresco meals. And they each have their own private kidney-shaped swimming pool. The interiors are just as lovely. Both have open-plan designs and the decor is bright and airy with whitewashed walls and cool tiled floors. You'll find a spacious lounge with comfy sofas and a TV, a dining area seating four and a fully-fitted modern kitchen. Add vaulted wooden ceilings and a traditional fireplace for an authentic edge and you get the picture. There are also two bedrooms with high ceilings, one of which is a twin and one a double.
