Peaceful boutique hotel very close to the beach
Lovely small hotel with plenty of charm. Within 200 metres of the beach, restaurants and bars and yet very quiet at night time. Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast served outside but sheltered from the wind if it blows strongly, like it sometimes does in Santorini. We did not use the swimming pool and sun loungers as we prefer the beach but I noticed you had to be quick in the morning to get a sunbed as a lot of people reserve them early before they go to have breakfast. This meant that many of the sun beds had towels on but were not actually being used - such is the case in so many hotels in summertime. Air conditioning in the room was terrific and we needed it as the temperature went above 40 centigrade on a number of days. This meant sleeping at night was no problem. Overall we would happily return.More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the KOUROS village hotel. .. the staff were so so hardworking and always willing to please .. nothing was too much trouble.. helpful to anything we needed .. the guy doing breakfast waiting at the tables worked his socks off serving coffee and tea .. while trying to clear each table as they were left by guests.. I'll be back
Great hotel. Staff are hard working friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast is simple but plenty of it. Room clean and towels changed everyday . Lovely pool area and bar serving tasty snacks throughout the day More
Before going on holiday, I wrote to the Manager and asked if we could have two rooms close together. I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted with the words, 'you wrote to me about the rooms' and we were then escorted to our rooms which were just around the corner from each other. This is typical of the service at this gem of a hotel. The rooms are traditionally Greek, so fairly plain, but very clean, and comfortable. I slept well every night as the hotel is in a peaceful location. The staff are very pleasant and happy to deal with any queries. But they are not pushy in any way, just lovely and helpful. As for the location, its perfect. Just a short walk from the beach and the strip of restaurants, ice cream bars and shops. We wanted a relaxing week and that's exactly what we had. If I had to add a slight negative, its what other people have written which is there isn't enough sun beds and not enough room to add any, but its so close to the beach its almost a non issue. We'd go back to Kouros again and hopefully will one day. Its got no spa and the accommodation isn't plush but if you want something that is authentic, peaceful, clean and rather charming, then this is the place for you. Loved it. Thank you to all the staff who worked so hard to make our holiday great.More
